This is my third time in the area, and in the past I had noticed The Dogpatch, but in the summer it was very busy and it is in an awkward access point. You have to turn in as you exit a roundabout. I assumed that Tuesday afternoon, in October, would be an easy chance for a quick meal. Apparently, so did a tour bus. So we had to wait awhile to be seated. We were hungry so I asked for a chicken strips basket and fried cheese curds for appetizers. We placed our beverage order and we were ready. The appetizers arrived quickly and hot, and we ordered our food. Their signs advertised steak and seafood, so I assume they have a different menu for dinner, but ours had sandwiches, wraps, and salads which were all we wanted. I ordered the Urban Suburban which is a fried natural chicken breast on a bun with hamburger veggies (onion, tomato, pickles and lettuce). I added the Swiss Swiss cheese and mushrooms). It came with French fries for a side. All of the food arrived quickly and hot. My sandwich was very tasty. Everyone else was satisfied with their choices!, which was especially noteworthy after handling a large group ahead of us. If you are visiting Munising or anywhere near the Pictured Rocks, and need a quick and delicious bite I suggest stopping by Dogpatch. Tell them Pappy sent you.

The menu is heavily centered around deep-fried food, and there weren't really alternatives if you wanted something prepared differently. I was also surprised that they didn't offer any alcohol-free beer, which has become pretty common at restaurants and bars. Nice staff and good service, but between the limited food preparation and lack of alcohol-free beer options, I wouldn't go back.

Located inside the Roam Inn, we were treated to a chill covers playlist, good drinks, and good food. Our server was on it - she was juggling several tables but she made it look effortless. The meatball is not spicy - just a perfect blend and flavor. The pierogis were also so good. I opted for the burger and truffle fries - the burger was perfect, but SO MANY FRIES. She opted for the white fish, which she enjoyed (I didn't even get a bite!) All in all - it's a great stop if you're wanting to be in a nice dining environment for your evening.
