I had really high hopes for this restaurant. My coffee was barely warm. The potatoes were somehow both undercooked and burnt at the same time. I got the sausages and they too were overcooked but also not really warm. My pancakes were hot, and overcooked as well. Pretty sure these are some sort of pre-made mix you just add water to, definitely not from scratch. The service was good. The tables are very close to eachother, which i didn't love. It's off putting how you are eating with strangers on either side a foot away. Especially when the guy directly beside me was snorting his snot back constantly. I left as quickly as possible. Ok so Eggtown is located where Wolfs Den was located -- so I had high hopes for them. Now I'm not sure if it's the same restaurant with a different name, but I sort of doubt it. I ordered French Toast, bacon, eggs and breakfast potatoes. The bacon was good and thick like I like it, but everything else sort of disappointed me. For starters the food had a funny smell to it, but I thought maybe it was just being me so I ignored it. The French toast had no flavor, the eggs -- we eggs with no flavor. Which disappointed me because I was expected something to be special about the eggs with a name like egg town. The potatoes were cut really thick and weren't cooked done -- they were still pretty hard. If I'm being honest, I wouldn't try this spot again. I order Uber eats so I will say it arrived in a decent time and they give you a good portion of food. read more

Avoid Egg Town - A Complete Service Failure If you enjoy being ignored, waiting endlessly, and dealing with a dismissive manager, then Egg Town is the place for you. Otherwise, I'd recommend avoiding it entirely. I went for breakfast with my dog and was seated outside. Twenty minutes passed without a single staff member acknowledging us until another table had to flag someone down on our behalf. Thank goodness I brought my own water for my dog because despite the heat, no one even thought to offer her any. When the server finally arrived, she only brought water for us--not for my dog. When our food came, the bacon fell on the ground. No big deal--it was for my dog anyway--but I was polite and told the server not to worry. That was my mistake because it gave them the impression that I was okay with their overall lack of care. Then came another 20-minute wait just to pay the bill. No one checked on us, no one offered a to-go container, and I finally had to go inside to take care of it myself. Even after all this, I still tipped 20%--a kindness they absolutely did not earn. The worst part? The manager's attitude. When I brought up the unacceptable service, she smirked, nodded, and muttered 'uh-huh' repeatedly, offering no apology, no concern--just complete indifference. When I made it clear this was not just about one server but the entire staff, she barely responded. This restaurant doesn't care about its customers. The food might be good, but with this level of incompetence and apathy, who would even want to eat here? Spend your money somewhere that actually values service--because Egg Town certainly doesn't. read more

Delicious new place in Wesley chapel. Love the smaller restaurant feel. This used to be a Wesley Chapel staple breakfast and lunch restaurant that was taken over and renovated. It's beautifully decorated now. Service was pretty good. Food was excellent. I had the Smoked Salmon Benedict. There's parking in front and also extra parking in back. Went on a Thursday for brunch, was able to get right in. Weekends are usually a bit of a wait so plan accordingly. Open 8am to 2pm 7 days a week. read more

This place was okay... we did a carryout and had a family member recommend this place. The potatoes were fantastic but the eggs Benedict was just okay. The salmon was insanely salty (way too salty), the hollandaise sauce was okay (could have been more flavorful. The eggs were cooked quite well but overall it was just okay. Sandwich is a generous portion. Today I tried something new, avocado toast with a fried egg. Again, the portion was generous. I could only eat half. At $15 a meal, I'm glad I have half left for tomorrow. I ALWAYS order to go. Staff is friendly, but I can't speak to wait staff. Food has always been as I ordered and warm. Had it once and every time we come, no matter how early they are out. They don't have bell peppers in their dishes and if you ask for onions they don't cut them up well or fully cook them. I've had better chicken and waffles. These had chicken tenders on top but had no flavor. I wouldn't recommend. My daughter recently moved to Wesley Chapel to start a new job. To celebrate, I took her out for breakfast. I ordered the Power Omelette with wheat toast, a fruit cup and coffee. She ordered Eggs Benedict over crab cakes with fried potatoes, iced coffee, and a pistachio muffin. My omellete was okay. So was the fruit cup. The toast wasn't wheat, it was undercooked whole grain. The coffee was watered down and bitter. My daughter's muffin was dyed solid green and tasted like Play-Doh. Her iced coffee was watered down. The potatoes tasted like they were cooked in burnt oil. The eggs were horrible - the crab cakes were undercooked, and the hollandaise sauce had congealed. She asked for a to go box, wrapped everything up, and tossed it in the Dumpster behind the plaza. The service was good. Everyone was friendly and our waitress was nice. That's why I gave this Eggtown one star instead of zero. We won't be going back. read more

This is my second time coming here. The first time the service was not that great but I decided to come back because the food was delicious. The first time we had the chorizo skillet and the chicken and waffles. Both were delicious but my daughter thought her chicken was overcooked and rubbery. Our waitress had the chef remake it and it was much better this time around. Our second visit I enjoyed the chorizo so much that I got the chorizo Benedict which I preferred over the chorizo skillet. My daughter had the chicken and waffles again and she loved it. They have this pecan coffee that is delicious as well but pricey IMO for black coffee. I could've gotten a specialty drink at Starbucks for the same price. We also tried the pancakes which was basic nothing special. Oh and we tried the Nutella crepes which was amazing. This is a great spot to pop in for a simple but fulfilling breakfast or lunch. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is covered which is always a plus. The coffee is really good but the food wasn't what I expected. My avocado toast was so overloaded, that I had to remove a large portion of the avocado to try and enjoy it. Before I got through half of a slice, the bread got soggy. I wasn't able to finish most of it. The southern skillet wasn't mine but I was told it was very good. Opening day at The Brunchery in Wesley Chapel was great! This location is previously the Wolf's Den diner. We were one of the first to dine and had the option of indoor or outdoor seating. There is about 10 tables outside and about 20 tables indoors. The staff was very eager to make a good impression and were very attentive and friendly. Now for the food, everything was tasty and HUGE portions so you definitely get your moneys worth. Our server Janay was awesome! Will be back as this is much closer for me than the New Tampa location.
