I had a very nice breakfast here on Saturday morning arriving around 8:30 AM and was seated immediately. The restaurant was busy but service was still quick and efficient. I ordered the breakfast combo with cinnamon French toast. The eggs were cooked to order over medium. The bacon and sausage were quite good. The French toast was tasty. They pack so many tables in a small place. Breakfast is basic and the wait list is long. I tried this place out while on vacation. The staff does not communicate with each other. I was on the waitlist arrived when my table was ready. People were behind me but got a table before I did when mine was ready first. It was then another long wait for breakfast. The name is cute, the staff was friendly, but this place was not all that and unfortunately bot worth waiting for. read more

I wanted to leave a good review...but I can't. We came here twice on our trip to Texas. The first time we ordered gluten free pancakes and let the waitress know we had celiac/gluten allergy and she said it was fine. Our pancakes tasted good and they were really big. We had to pay $2 extra for real maple syrup. That day, we got sick, celiac sick. But we weren't sure if it was from Eggsquisite. We came back a couple days later and ordered the same pancakes and told the waitress about having celiac. She informed us they cook the GF pancakes on the same surface and gluten items and they don't/wont clean it first. Now we knew it was for sure here that we got glutened. We promptly left. We only wish the first waitress had shared that information. It's not fun getting glutened sick on vacation. Please don't come here if you have a true allergy/celiac. read more

There is always a long wait here, however the food and service is worth the wait! The coffee is superb, and the food is delicious and always hot. While they're busy, I never feel rushed to hurry and leave my table to make room for another guest. The food portions are healthy as well so there's always more than enough to fill your palate. You could tell walking up this place was super popular, which had us excited. The service was fast and attentive which was fantastic. My husband enjoyed his omelet. So me and my sister were in in Mesquite leaving a Museum and I wanted brunch. So we were like let's go to Rockwall to see the water. I pulled up Yelp and found this lovely gem. There were so many great options to choose from so we definitely will have to come back and try more brunch and lunch items. I decided to order the meat skillet which came with bacon, ham, and sausage with hashbowns, cheese and eggs. I also ordered the berry pancakes. When I say EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! There was plenty of meat in every bite of the skillet. The pancakes were just the right amount of sweet and no syrup was even needed. My sister ordered the steak and eggs with the same pancakes (copy cat.. ) She said the steak was extremely juicy and tender. She cleared her plate! Lol...She said the pancakes had just a touch of sweetness and she thourghly enjoyed it. Now the staff...let's talk about how unbelievably sweet and nice. The manager dropped off out food and came back and asked us how we enjoyed our food. Our waitress Katiyln was super friendly, attentive, funny, and very personable. I've been here twice. The first time was during the week and I was dining alone. I waited over 10 minutes at the table before my coffee order was taken and longer for food order. The food was okay. I never got a coffee refill and had to ask at the counter for my check. All waitstaff seemed to be lavishing attention on a large family of 8-10. The 2nd time I came with a friend and we were seated in front of the open kitchen. It was ridiculously loud and cramped. Food, coffee & service were good this time. There is NO WAITING AREA. My friend is a senior and the best for seating were 2 wooden park benches in the sun. Do not come here if anyone uses a cane or walker. The tables are so close together you are touching the chairs behind you and the booths are cramped. The noise level is off the charts. The food is good. read more

Always busy, which is why you know you will get excellent service and tasty food. We have tried several different dishes on their menu and all have been very tasteful. The waitresses are always kind and helpful if you don't know what to order. The manager or owner always comes by and make sure your time at their restaurant is enjoyable. There's such a great variety of food options it makes you want to order everything. The inside of the Cafe is beautifully decorated and this location definitely follows covid guidelines. Masks are required when entering. I had steak and eggs with hashbrowns and the very berry pancakes and let me tell you...they were so yummy!!! Love the skillets! However the Chicken & Waffles is pretty damn good, I must say. It is a go to for me on cheat day. Honestly, we have never had a bad dish here. Everything dish is well vetted and thought through. Great spot in Rockwall. Very busy! Really need additional location. Maybe in North Rockwall, East Rockwall/Fate, and Heath area. I've been here once for brunch but the service here didn't disappoint except for the speed which was a little slow however the food was amazing. The waffles here are the best I've ever had and I will definitely go back and try them again. This is also a great place to relax and enjoy after work or getting out of the house.
