I really like this restaurant. The service is outstanding here. The staff is super friendly. The food has always been great. Pancakes are very tasty. Crepes and waffles are delicious. The eggs Benedict-- the best in town. We've been here 4 times now and it's enough to say this has quickly become my favorite place for breakfast. An hour wait for breakfast is unreasonable. My boyfriend got his food and the eggs were not scrambled as requested. My traditional Eggs Benedict was simply just ok. I think they forgot our order and it was a rush job. The server said they were waiting on home fries. However, people who came in after us were served quicker and with home fries. Not sure what happened but the owner was oblivious. The server offered us free rice pudding as compensation for our ridiculous wait time.I was looking forward to a good breakfast place within walking distance but most likely will not return. read more

The breakfast skillet was very good, but the pancakes were disappointing somehow. If you've eaten pancakes as long as I have, you just know what's great and what is just not quite as good. The service was great here- but the food was not good at all. My boyfriend and I ordered the same thing. His plate arrived with room temperature eggs and bacon that was so burnt that it shattered. My bacon was less burnt, but my homefries were half burnt and half raw. The pancakes were chalky and cold as well. The prices would be reasonable if the food was good. read more

This little place is great. I love the privacy and style of the refinished doors throughout the restaurant. The food is well priced and pretty good; sizable portions and consistently pleasant service. Loved their "bring your own wine" nights (not sure if they still have them?). It's a good spot to meet casually with friends for any meal. Not to mention I've always had luck with parking right out front, although the back lot is plenty spacious. read more

When we walked in today, we saw at least 10 empty tables, but the restaurant is so short-staffed that we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. The server was moving and talking too fast for my lunch partner to even understand her. She was obviously stressed. We then waited much too long for our drinks, much too long for our food, and much too long for the check. The decor is very nice and the food is delicious, and it would be great to have a favorite restaurant so close by, but the wait time and the noisy din ruined the whole experience for us. It is REALLY noisy in there. I'll be avoiding the place. read more

Visitor from Seattle. I ordered a sausage and bacon skillet (sub sausage) with two eggs over medium. It came with pancakes also. The price was reasonable. Had no wait and it was cooked to perfection. My only gripe is we asked to sit at a bigger table as we had 4 people and a 3 month old. There was an open and bigger table but were told we couldn't sit there because it's reserved for bigger parties of 5 or more. I guess the baby wasn't considered as our 5th person. We love this restaurant! I've tried everything from breakfast to the dinner entrees and all are delicious. We never wait long at all, the service is extremely quick, attentive and friendly. There is a wonderful Friday fish fry as well that comes with THREE sides and is always hot and crispy. Greek entrees are perfectly seasoned and yummy; portions are large. Finally, a restaurant in the village of Kenmore! The only problem is that it isn't open more nights. :) read more

Absolute worst service I have ever experienced in Buffalo. It took 20 minutes for anyone to come over to our table to get our drink order. We were desperate to order or food in fear of having to wait that long again. We tried to order crepes but they were out of fruit... So we had to change our order which took another 15 minutes for someone to come back to us. Never was offered a refill on coffee or water, even though the waitress walked by our table three times with a hot pot of coffee... Finally she just threw the coffee pot on our table. After 55 minutes we got our food and it was COLD. ARE YOU KIDDING? never coming back. read more

The staff were so rude to us on our visits here. They were annoyed at us for bringing coffee from another store in with us. Instead of asking us to throw the coffee away, they seated us and gave us menus and THEN asked us to leave. Terrible experience and I will not be going back here. I ate there on Sunday afternoon and had the best open chick soulvaki ever! My BF devoured his burger. The restaurant is super clean with nice art work and the staff was super friendly! Very good breakfast in a short amount of time. Good prices and I had the best lox omelette I've ever had. My only complaint is that they seemed to be understaffed. The server was very good but she seemed to be in a rush. I would just suggest they hire someone else especially if it's busy. read more

This restaurant is a joke! We waited over a hour to get our food all while watching two tables that came in after us receive their food before us. The waitress was very sweet but clearly they were super under staffed or no one wanted to do their job for the amount of tables they had for a Sunday morning. When spoke to the manager, she was kind but gave us 3 different excuses why the food took over a hour and then we watched her go sit down at another table with her friends. We understand things can be different due to covid but we have dined at other restaurants since the pandemic and haven't had an issue. The skillet that I had was super bland and eggs were runny. We ordered a bacon and sausage side for our children's meals and we never received them. Overall I would NEVER recommend this place ...would rather eat at Denny's. A huge waste of $50 and our time with our two small children. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME, MONEY OR TASTE BUDS ON THIS PLACE!!! read more

Was in the area this morning and drove by and decided to check it out. In a word, fantastic! First thing I noticed was the decor, very beautiful! The food was excellent. I have been a fan of Vasilis for many years! He is a loyal man to his customers always treating them with the highest regard and gratitude. The food is delicious and very very generous, well priced, and this new Resturant in Kenmore is both lovely to sit in and enjoys a warmth rare in family style dining. The service excellent and many creations are those passed down as the family tradition. The music is lovely and it's nice in a calming atmosphere- (I'm so sick of rock pop in restaurants blaring music so you can't even hear your dining companions and everyone talking loud and louder and loudest.). The family loves the business and is always grateful for customers and it shows in the food, portions, and service. I'm avoiding the places who run business first that make a customer feel lucky to be in their Resturant - sadly the tenor of other restaurants in town started by an owner immigrant and ruined by self centered sons - of children. Not here- Vasilis and his dear wife are there tending you the customer with care sharing as family the best for their customers. Great parking in the back so - go enjoy! read more
