OMG.....it was great. And it was huge. I could only eat about half of it before I was stuffed. Their coffee is amazing. If you like coffee, then this place is for you. The restaurant is clean and our server was excellent. Overall it was a good experience. Prices are a little more than expected, but the food is worth it. Parking is lacking out front, but the restaurant is located in a strip mall so there's plenty of parking on the side.

I prefer maybe less onions and spinach in my veggie omelette it also comes with mushrooms, I asked for no broccoli. It was just a bit too much for one person. And I guess I don't care for watery omelettes the avocado slices were good. Overall the omelette needs more seasoning or salt and pepper it tasted like water and spinach to me. Couldn't enjoy without mixing it with the side of smoked sausage (ham). If you enjoy meat. I recommend to skip the veggie omelette and just get something with bacon in it next time. The side of diced potatoes were my favorite of my meal. I like the crisp and they did not taste burnt. They were cooked well and were even better with ketchup. I added one slice of sourdough toast your omelette comes with two sides. I wanted to do a quick journal entry and I brought a magazine to read but the music was a bit loud in the cafe. It was more of a louder space they played alternative rock and contemporary music. I had to wear my headphones to try and focus. If you are going to enjoy your meal and chat this is ok for that but not if you have like a work call or zoom this is not the cafe for you. Overall it's a good vibe. I wan't to go back and try a traditional mexican breakfast next time something with tortillas maybe. I also did not try their pancakes which looked good on the menu. For those partaking of their self-serve refillable coffee, it probably provides an opportunity to enjoy the beverage. Menu as a European Bistro is quite different compared to many other brunch options in the area. My wife selected the Vegano Bowl ($15.95) and substituted Roasted Potatoes ($2) for the standard mixed greens. She liked the bowl, although she prefers the options at Flower Child and Garden Table. She didn't love her potatoes. I ordered the Del Piero Toast ($13.95) and also substituted the mixed greens for the potatoes, which I enjoyed. Only thing I didn't really care for was the cutting board it was served on as it was not as user-friendly to eat from as I would have liked. However, I would order the toast again, although I am interested to investigate other menu options first.

We watch our calories and so kids meals work best. You get a protein and choice of two sides. We get green beans and fruit. And it also comes with a cookie. The food is pretty good. It does not always come the same and what I mean by that is sometimes the green beans will have no seasoning at all and then sometimes they will. Of course I prefer the seasoning but if none, I just quickly season them myself. I do hope to visit soon and eat inside the restaurant and will leave another review.

I have traveled the country for the past 8 years for work before setting in Carmel. I have had just about every type of cuisine you can think of. My wife and I thought we would try this place one Saturday morning. When we arrived, we were impressed with the decor and overall feeling of the place. Then the food arrived! Just amazing. The food had fresh ingredients grown by the owner. This was one of the best meals I have had and I have tried many well known restaurants across the country. This place is a must try!!!! read more

My definite go-to place for fantastic food and decadent coffee. You haven't lived if you haven't tried their Polar Opposite espresso drink (a flavorful, temperature experience). They sure know how to charm you through their elegant antique French decor and the intricate way they seduce you to spend more than you expected (primarily just through their well written menus!) The moral of the story is that if you want to visit during weekend brunch hours, you need to bring your patience. Water and drinks were served promptly, though. They also offer self-serve coffee, so you don't need to wait for a refill. We ordered the lavender lemonade, which was nice and sweet and not too floral, but was a beautiful hazy lavender hue. My favorite thing at Cafe Patachou is the California Dreamer, which is an omelette filled with avocado, white cheddar, sour cream and jalapenos. It has a little bit of a kick from the jalapenos, but even still, I'm so much of a California girl that I requested hot sauce. It comes with arugula and your choice of toast. I always get the cinnamon toast at Cafe Patachou, because it's the best cinnamon toast I've ever had, full stop. We also got the Green Goddess salad, no protein. It was very good and included spinach, avocado, cucumber, tomatoes, radish, sugared pecans, feta, hard-boiled egg and green goddess dressing. This is a tasty salad, and is great if you want a little something that feels healthy and light. One thing to keep in mind is that when there are lots of people in the dining room, it can be loud. I felt like I had to raise my voice to talk to the people at my table. Another thing to keep in mind is that if you have to wait for a table, there are some swinging seats a few steps away from the restaurant, so you can go sit there and swing for a bit while you wait for them to text you that your table is ready.

When it came, we could not find any actual avacado, instead there was a very thin (and brown) layer of pureed avocado. We asked the waitress if it was missing and she pointed and said No, this is it. We asked if we could have an actual avocado for the avocado toast and were told that they did not have any that were ripe. We assume the last ripe one went onto the salad we had ordered. They did bring out a side of the pureed avocado but it was clearly old and did not taste right so it was not eaten. Unfortunately, this experience and the waitresses handling of it, left a bad taste in our mouth (literally for one of us) and put a damper on the beginning of our day. It always makes me laugh when you are going to meet someone for breakfast and a lengthy discussion ensues over where to go. Does it even matter? They all serve the same things: Multiple forms of eggs, pancakes, french toast, breakfast meats and probably a "skillet" meal. You might be lucky enough to find a chef who knows how to prepare a proper eggs benedict (The key? Restraint. A little hollandaise goes a long way), but beyond that, pick wherever you want to go. The menu will most likely be a carbon-copy. Well, color me surprised when I gazed upon the menu at Mornings! A carne asada skillet, the bad hombre omelette with chorizo, black beans and habanero cheese. They also offer tres leches pancakes, four types of benedcits and chilaquiles. This menu was fresh and different compared to mose midwestern breakfast establishments. This came as such a welcomed surprise. After receiving a hot cup of coffee, I decided on the chilaquiles. I had only heard of this dish, but had never had the opportunity to try it out. Have you ever had a dish that you didn't particularly enjoy, and yet you could tell that it was made really well? This was my experience with chilaquiles. If you aren't familiar, chilaquiles are tortilla chips that have been simmered in salsa rojo or verde. I was slightly concerned about ordering wet tortillas, but I am always down for a new experience. Honestly, I won't be ordering the chilaquiles, again. They were pretty much what I expected after reading the description. However, I was still impressed with the dish. Mornings did a great job, and I would actully recommend them to someone who enjoys chilaquiles. Personally, I would rather try some other dishes and flavors on the menu. But my thought was simple: If I am enjoying a dish that I don't seem to be a fan of now that I have tried it, how great are the rest of thes dishes on the menu that I know I would enjoy! Whether its a solo trip, a nice birthday date with my mom, or a breakfast burrito to go to savor after my morning yoga class, I will definitely be back to Mornings.

I only git half as I wasnt sure how filling or good it would be. The sandwich was delicious and tasty and a half was more than enough for me. If I would change on thing, I might put less peach jam or add more prosciutto so its not sweet on sweet. Service was great and the ambiance is bright and welcoming. You can sit at a table and dine in and there's additional high top seating against the wall. Will stop in again soon and try their coffee drinks.

Our server, Nereida, was friendly and attentive. Food came out fairly quick and Nereida checked on us multiple times.
