Absolutely wonderful experience! Staff was friendly. Service was prompt, and the food was delicious. The restaurant was also very clean.

Kitchen was too busy filling to go orders to take care of their in-house customers. Food came out 25 minutes later and was cold. Their peaches and cream pancakes were nothing to write about about. Overall a mediocre experience. read more

We ate at Eggs Up Grille on 3/6 and were completely satisfied. The restaurant was appealing when we walked in. It was warm and inviting. The hostess sat us and was friendly. Our server, Champagne was fun, friendly and even teased with us. The food was amazing. I had the Farmer Omelette. Wowza!!! It was huge and loaded with flavor, andouille sausage, jalapeños, bacon and more. I waddled out. Go, eat and enjoy. Let Champagne make you smile, she's awesome. read more

Very good experience today, I had the Waffle Sandwich, with the eggs over easy. It was special, I'll be back. Friendly staff, family type atmosphere here. read more

First time here but won't be the last! The food is great , get the shrimp & grits , you'll thank me later. Chelsey was our server, she was phenomenal! The owner was front and center and very involved in helping out. We will be back read more

Was delicious and service was phenomenal! Would definitely recommend! Eggs benedict was delicious!!

The food was subpar. Worse part was the customer service. Waitresses bickering with each other about grabbing hot sauce off the bar. My wife's egg biscuit was hard. Was remade and had to wait so the rest of the food got cold. Asked to take the rest of the food off the bill since she didn't eat it. They wouldn't do it. We will pass this place up next time. They could do better. read more

My wife and I have eaten at two eggs up grills, one in Crabapple (Milton) and one in Rome. The one in Milton is head and shoulders better than the one in Rome, although the Rome location is decent. Pro's: - Food is really tasty for the most part. Seasoned well (not too much, not too little) and ready pretty quickly, even during busy times/days. - Service staff is super-friendly and seem to care about their customers. Con's: - Both times I've been, the order was incorrect - I ordered the same thing both times. Southwestern bowl with no jalapenos should be pretty easy to get right, but alas it seems to much to ask for. Missing sour cream and salsa once, had jalapenos once. Both times we had other errands to run and I couldn't spend the extra time to send it back. - On one occasion, the potatoes in the bowl weren't right. I couldn't place my finger on the problem, but the best way to describe it was that they tasted/felt like they were pre-cooked for a while, then added to the bowl later. - Wait staff seemed to have too many assigned tables. I wanted to ask for my sour cream, but I was 3/4 done with my food before the waitress came back to check on us. Not her fault - she had way too many tables assigned to her. We understand that staffing is difficult and we don't fault her for the shortfall, it's disappointing that the government's response to COVID has hurt so many businesses. Overall, I understand it's a new location and there are still kinks to be worked out. We'll be back, but if it doesn't improve we probably won't work it into our normal weekend breakfast rotation. read more

Chase greeted us at the door and was seating people as quickly as tables became available. Service was great and food was delicious. Prices were reasonable, not overpriced like a lot of places these days. read more

The food is okish but the service is bad. Had to wait 15 minutes for the server to take the order on a non busy day and then had to wait 20 mins for the check. And at the end of it the waitress was rude and non-courteous. Wouldn't go there again or recommend. read more

Place is disgusting! Sorry workers, service and the food is even worse!! Tried it twice! Wish I'd just taken my chances at the WH! Food was ever fresh, order was always wrong! The workers are very unsanitary and I just can't chance that again, being in a pandemic. The owners really should consider doing a SWOT analysis on their business if they want to keep it open. read more

Very good! Nice to see a place specializing in breakfast food! Great menu variety as well! We had the kids meal with French toast, Belgian waffle, and grits with freshly squeezed Orange Juice. Good food but notice the management getting worse with every visit. We were seated today at 11:03 a.m. and never spoken to again. We left at 11:47 a.m. without any service. The girls cleaning the tables were talking about how much they hated being there and their jobs. They just do not care about the costumer. read more

My husband and I tried this place the other day for the first time, our waitress was Jamie is was amazing she was very busy with at least 8 tables and yet she gave the best service to everyone the food was Good as well she recommended the crab cake Benedict and fruit it hit the spot. We will be going back. read more

Our server was Alex and she was rude, never checked back on us and the food was terrible. She handed us our drinks by holding them around the rim of the glass, where our mouths would go if we didn't use a straw. I ordered a veggie omelet, add cheese, what I got was a greasy mass of eggs and veggies with no cheese. The potatoes were tasteless and mushy and the "toast" was just untoasted bread with some butter slapped on the middle. My husband's grits were bland and crunchy somehow. We would've asked for at least the cheese we paid for but Alex just wanted us to pay and gtfo so she could gossip with her co-workers. I've been working in restaurants forever and ever and understand a bad day, but this place is dirty, the servers talk crap about customers loudly behind the counter, no sense of urgency in a busy setting and the food was crap. Save yourself some time and money and eat fast food. It's probably better for you than what they're serving. I still gave her 18% because I'm in the industry but she would have gotten 30% or more if she could've pretended to do her job. The back of their shirts say "Let me make you smile" and I've got to say, it did give me a chuckle. read more

Following the incident where the online app accepted our take out order and billed my card when the Rome store had not opened for business I spoke with a representative of the franchisee. Apparently a software issue caused the store to appear open for business prematurely. It was handled in a professional manner and I look forward to trying it once it is open for business. read more

They desperately need more help. The wait for our food was unusually long and when the food arrived, it was cold. IHOP pancakes are much better. Sorry. read more

My wife and I visited Eggs Up Grill on Sat., 03 April 2021. We arrived at 7 am. We were well-greeted at the door, the decor was tasteful and clean and we were readily seated in a booth two from the front. Menus were presented at time of seating, and drinks delivered fast and cheerfully. We asked for a couple of minutes to peruse the menu. Upon ordering it took slightly longer than it should have; however, they were getting busy. My wife ordered Founder's Hash & Eggs for $9.99 with loosely scrambled eggs, and I chose Eggs Benedict for $9.99 with grits. We both had coffee. My wife's scrambled eggs were well done and dry and I had the waitress redo them for her - which the sweet waitress did. (By the way, scrambled eggs should never be served with scorch marks on them where they laid on the grill too long.) The toasted English muffin on my Eggs Benedict was on the small size - not even as large as what one can buy at the grocery store and should have been lightly toasted not burned black, which mine was. The Canadian bacon was even slightly smaller than the circumference of the English muffin, and the poached eggs looked very nice, but poached eggs should have solid whites and runny yolks - but they were 100% hard poached, as proven when the tines of my fork pierced them. They were topped with a hollandaise sauce that had been whipped and had air in it - not beaten by hand and buttery. When our waitress asked if everything was good, I told her the truth and that the muffin was so burned that I couldn't even cut it with a knife. She informed me that the eggs were poached and should look like that. Really? Am I that ignorant? Hardly for me who is a former 4-star restaurant owner. I told her to watch, and I took my knife and fork and cut through one and the yolk was as hard as a hard boiled egg. She apologized and took them back for a "re-do". While I was waiting, I decided to eat my grits. The grits were tasty but had so many lumps in them one could walk across the Etowah River on them and not get his feet wet. I did not rush, but finished my grits and waited several minutes before the new eggs were brought out. The new eggs were perfectly cooked; however they were placed upon the now cold original muffin and bacon, and some new hollandaise sauce poured over them and the cold original sauce with air bubbles. It was the same plate - not a fresh hot one. I slid the eggs and bacon off of that black, hard, cold muffin and ate them that way. All in all, for my ten bucks ($10) I had two poached eggs and two small circles of bacon, and a bowl of warm, lumpy grits. The service was pleasing, friendly and professional, and the coffee was really good. On the way home, I asked my wife to stop by Truett's Chic-fil-A where I purchased a chicken biscuit that i took home and ate. read more
