The meat was fresh and it was grilled to perfection. At a staff suggestion, I got the sourdough bread upgrade. That bread was amazing. The sides I had were mashed potato's (again, nice flavor but no gravy) and the green beans were pretty fresh even though probably from a can, and those were pretty bland. Funny thing is there were no bread options for the meal but it was lunchtime so maybe that's why? They also have a large selection of desserts which Kelci helped me pick through. I got a slice of German chocolate cake which was huge and delicious, I couldn't finish it. Also the tea is good old southern tea, I had the half and half because it's pretty sweet but that's the way it's supposed to be! Overall the place was very clean and smelled nice. There's ample parking outside and the location is convenient. I will probably come back when in the area but won't make a drive from where I live in Cartersville just to eat here. So overall I'm giving 5 stars for the excellent service (thank you Kelci), 4 stars for the food, 3 for the atmosphere (kick up the music to add in some modern rock or something!) and 5 stars for cleanliness, parking and location. After eating part of my breakfast sandwich, I found a hair inside the food (photo attached). I brought it to the staff's attention and was offered a remake. However, once something like that happens, it's difficult to feel comfortable accepting another item prepared in the same environment. In addition to the food issue, the overall cleanliness of the restaurant was concerning. The floors were sticky, the restrooms appeared poorly maintained, and the drink station area did not look clean. These details matter, especially in a food establishment. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements to sanitation and food handling practices.
