Egg Benedict
Jay T.

Eggs up grill is always 5 star service and 10 star quality of food. Im always impressed that people are always lined up, but the staff get them in and out swiftly. The crab and eggs is usually my go to. Delicious and always fresh. Ill be back soon when im in the area.

Eggs Up Grill is one of my favorite breakfast spots. Their Eggs Benedict is easily some of the best I've had, always cooked just right with a rich, flavorful hollandaise sauce. The service is friendly, the food comes out quickly, and the restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere. It's a great place to start the day!

Coastal Crab Cake Benny! Vegetable Omelet with fluffy pancake!

This restaurant it's in a small strip mall where Walmart market is. We got seated right away by the hostess. Malcolm our server was great. The food came out in a timely manner and was hot. My crab benny was delicious. They used real crab not imitation, the toasted garlic bread was nice. My hubby said his omelet was cooked right, hash browns were delicious and pancake was fluffy delicious. Will definitely come back when in town.

Another great eggs up grill spot located 5 minutes or less from market commons, in the plaza by the Walmart neighborhood market. Always a reliable eat and kind service!

Lots of breakfast choices The eggs Benedict was said to be good but the bread was borderline burnt I enjoy the bacon sandwich but ordered it because nothing really sounded good to me. A lot of tradition

Strawberry Mimosas

Everything was delicious. Best home fries I've ever had. Cronut special amazing. Service so fun and friendly. Will be back more than a few times this vacation. Highly recommend.

Carne Asada Breakfast Burrito

I arrived at this location and it was very packed but I was seated fairly quickly. Restaurant was clean and bright lighting. I ordered the carne asada breakfast burrito and purchased home fries to go with the burrito. Very delicious!!! The burrito has eggs (cooked how you like), peppers, onion, thin sliced carne asada, pepper jack cheese and a chile lime crema sauce. I was hoping for it to be a little spicy but there wasn't any (which is fine because it was very good). It was very cheesy and the eggs (over medium) were a great addition. It was a little greasy but the burrito still tasted great. My server was Samantha and she did a great job!

Bananas foster french toast

This was my third trip to an Eggs Up Grill. They are no frills but fast , friendly service. All three locations made me feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. Food was fast and delicious. This trip I caved and had sugar! The Bananas Foster was delicious - the bananas were lightly coated and caramelized. Yummy breakfast and stuck to my ribs was not hungry all day. My hubby enjoyed his corned beef hash Benedict. We also saw the serve mimosas even in different flavors . This is our go to breakfast joint!

Shrimp and grits omelet

When visiting a new area I look forward to trying out local breakfast spots. Eggs Up came highly recommended by fellow Yelpers- and their menu had some delicious sounding plates, so we opted to dine in. No frills, average food, & meh service.. Our coffee & water took longer than the food to arrive. I ordered the shrimp & grits omelet, hubby the Homestead platter. The Shrimp & Grits omelet sounded great, but execution was blan-a few pieces of shrimp inside a very plain egg omelet w. a small serving of fire roasted grits on the side. The biscuits were flaky, buttery, and delicious but the plate overall left me still peckish- disappointing. The Homestead platter sounded hearty but came with a small omelet, which later we found out we had to pay to add cheese to (when the waitress asked 'what kind of cheese' it implied it came with cheese..not 'do you want to add cheese'-mainly annoyed because the cheese we paid to add was a very tiny amount. The sausages were very yummy and bacon was well cooked, but the sausage gravy was plain and less peppery, but luckily saved by the buttery biscuits. Overall, a meh breakfast, didn't break the bank to try, but didn't impress us, wouldn't recommend.

Luckily I saw a packed place on Mr. Joe White Avenue called Simply Southern Smokehouse. Place looked legit and had a full parking lot so I pulled in. There is only one way in and once you get in, the cashier is on the right with the $15 all you can eat buffet right next to it. The $15 also included all you can drink soft drinks, water and sweet tea. I paid my money and grabbed a plate and ran right up to the buffet. They start out light with vegetables and sides, working up to the main courses of fried chicken, fried fish, pulled pork, smoked chicken and some hot wings. After that, they had some mac & cheese, and then the desserts which was blueberry cobbler, peach cobbler, homemade banana pudding...and a couple of other things. I started off with some broad beans, stewed okra and tomatoes, smoked chicken and hot wings. I brought my plate and my silverware to an empty table, which was getting hard to find as the place was so packed and then went up to fetch me a glass of water to wash it down with. They serve Pepsi products and of course sweet tea but I was going to save my calories for dessert. The place was clean, well lit and the seating was well designed with booths along the wall and tables in the center... and plenty of room between the tables. Once seated I dug right in. The broad beans were excellent. Done right and full of flavor. The stewed tomatoes and okra, although cook correctly was a bit bland for my liking. The smoked chicken was excellent and I used a bit of the golden SC BBQ sauce on it...great...and homemade. The hot wings were the real deal meaty and moist with a nice kick. I finished the plate in about five minutes. Time for round two. On my second trip up, I put some collard greens, lima beans, a piece of fried chicken and a piece of fried fish on the fresh plate. As I sat down to eat, I put a bit of hot vinegar sauce on the collard greens and dug in. The collards were excellent and the homemade vinegar hot sauce gave it a bit of a kick and bite. The Lima beans were soft and loaded with flavor. I then moved on to the fried chicken, which was cooked correctly with the skin crispy and well battered and the meat moist on the inside. That said, it was bland. Given how well the beans were seasoned I was surprised. Same thing with the fish, but they had a real good house sauce for it which gave it a nice flavor and saved it, but overall both the fried chicken and the fried fish were bland. I then went up for a plate number three and realized I was not gonna be able to eat anymore mains, which was a shame since the pulled pork looked great... It will have to wait for the next time I come. I did, however leave a bit of room for dessert and I'm glad I did . The banana pudding was delicious with a full banana taste and 'Nilla wafers on top and bottom adding a bit of crunch. I only had enough room for one of the cobbler so I chose peach and it did not disappoint. Nice and warm with a sweet peach flavor and tasty crumbles. I wanted more but controlled myself. As I got up to leave, I placed five dollars on the table for the cleanup guy who was hustling and keeping the place neat and tidy. I then looked around and noticed this was a real local spot full of people from Myrtle Beach. You have families, elderly people, young people, construction workers and people from local businesses. For $15 it cannot be beat. Not only will I be back again but I plan on bringing some of my friends from up north who are going to love this place...plus I gotta try that pulled pork and Mac and cheese...if the fried chicken and fish have more seasoning, I'll up them to 5 stars.

Perfect Spot for a Sunny Afternoon Lunch!…read more We stopped into Gordon Biersch Brewery in Myrtle Beach on a beautiful sunny Friday afternoon for a late lunch, and we were thrilled to be seated right away in their lovely outdoor dining area. Our server was fantastic--very attentive, bringing out our drinks super quickly and checking in just when we were ready to order. The menu has tons of wonderful options, from fresh salads to hearty sandwiches and their signature brewery-inspired dishes. Prices are a bit on the higher side for lunch, but the quality makes it completely worth it. I went with the Caesar salad topped with salmon, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly dressed--the salmon was cooked just right. My husband ordered the French dip with fries, and he raved about how juicy and tender the beef was. Portions weren't enormous, but they were more than adequate and left us satisfied without feeling stuffed. The highlight was definitely sitting outside in the spring sunshine, people-watching in the vibrant Market Common area while enjoying the relaxed vibe. The patio setup with umbrellas kept it comfortable, and the whole atmosphere felt welcoming and lively in the best way. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Myrtle Beach--great food, excellent service, and that outdoor seating on a perfect day is hard to beat!
