What a pleasant surprise - a place for breakfast that has a nice menu - not too fancy, just a good breakfast with all the standards. We had the Classic - eggs over easy, bacon, whole wheat toast. Very good, although the eggs could have been a bit warmer. We also had the Homestead Platter - bacon, link sausage, scrambled eggs, with a biscuit and sausage gravy - a steal at $13.99! Lots of bacon and sausage and perfectly scrambled eggs - a winner in my book! The coffee was good, hot, and plentiful. Service was polite, friendly, and professional. The menu also had omelets, benedicts, and items from the griddle. Warmer eggs brings the food to 5-star. I gave the atmosphere a 4-star rating because I found the place a bit spartan. That said, I'll trade good food at fair prices for atmosphere any day of the week. If you're looking for a good, standard breakfast, this could be your kind of place. Went here with my husband on a spur of the moment decision. I love to eat out for breakfast but my husband doesn't so he ended up with a sandwich and I had eggs Benedict. I use Benedict's as my gold standard for breakfast service. I like my poached eggs runny but these were almost completely cooked, the English muffin I requested toasted 'hard' meaning I want it well toasted but it came out hardly toasted. The hollandaise sauce was a little weak and thin and sparse. The potatoes were over salted for my taste even though our server tried to fix them by bringing me a new side order, the potatoes were still too salty. So the Benedict didn't meet expectations but my husband enjoyed his sandwich. My dogs enjoyed the remains of the eggs Benedict - too expensive to throw out! But not the potatoes. I might be persuaded to try this place again in the future, but it would be because nothing else was available. read more

Grabbed a seat at the counter and was promptly waited on. Hot coffee, menu, order placed. Off to a great start. Ordered the crab Benny with cheesy grits topped with bacon. The grits paired with hollandaise made the dish too rich for my tastes. My mistake. Next time hashbrowns for me. Overall, the meal was tasty and well prepared. Visited on a Sunday around 12pm and of course as expected it was BUSY. We were sat immediately though outside but unfortunately it took about 30min until someone other than our server had to come out and take our order. The server assigned to that area kept skipping over us and took other customers orders who had arrived after us so it got very frustrating. We ordered an egg white omlete with potatoes, sausage, eggs, toast, pancakes, the whole breakfast works. The food was delicious though. Everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked perfectly. No complaints at all with the food. Located in Sun Valley location beside the Publix so plenty of parking spots to choose from. read more

Clean, quick, delicious, friendly. We recently went to first watch and were very disappointed, so we tried Eggs Up Grill and were completely amazed. Everything was so yummy. I like high protein options and they have a menu item with 3 eggs, 4 pieces of crispy bacon and 4 sausage patties. It also came with a biscuit that was soft and fluffy. This is our new favorite. They have a lot of specialty French toast options that we did not try yet. The kids meal had a Mickey Mouse shaped pancake, a French toast, and 1 piece of bacon (drink included). This location is very clean and nice on the inside. The menu however doesn't include much in the way of what is actually on the dish. My food came covered in spices that were not listed on the menu and my bread came pre soaked with butter without any indication that it would. The food quality was very poor during my last visit. The poached eggs were basically like hard boiled eggs. When it was brought to the staff's attention, no effort was made to even correct the problem. Additionally, the table wasn't cleared of dirty dishes at all during the entire meal. Our waitress; unlawfully kind. Man, we are burning on all cylinders. Our food order; my wife's scrambled eggs (with cheese) literally had the crumpled cheese slice over the scrambled eggs. Mine weren't as bad, but not much better. My pancakes, cold to the touch. My wife and I continued with descent conversation and paid the bill. I wasn't angry; it just wasn't our time. We go here every week for breakfast. The meals always come out quickly and accurately. The home fries are outstanding the make your own omelette is great. It always tastes the same. The French toast is great as well. We see the same employees every week so they must be treating the staff well. The staff always does a great job and always brings out my order correctly all the time. They have a punch card system and after 10 meals you get 5 dollars off. Our daughters eggs Benedict- one egg was hard boiled ? How is that even possible? For the whites to be soft and the yolk to be hard defies the laws of physics. Her potato's were off as well. They replaced the eggs with runny whites. Poaching an egg is not that difficult. On my "eggs benny" the white was runny, but edible. My potatoes were better but very salty and spicy. Every time we go there I get the same server. And he is horrible absolutely horrible. I went there today ordered breakfast after sausage and I got a side of bacon told him that I was ordered sausage and he proceeded to take the bacon off my plate and then headed back to the kitchen. I'm not sure if he threw it away I don't believe he threw it away but I know my fingers touch that bacon. And he brought me back my sausage. Super clean and cute diner feel with the countertop and decor. Three downfall The kids meals are tiny...Not really enough for children 6 and up I'd say! Defiantly would need to order an actual meal for them next time...we ended up ordering extra sides for them halfway through our meal which left our kiddos impatient and not a joy to have out for breakfast! Food tasted not homemade- more US foods premade type foods, overall was average. Not delicious not terrible! The third thing was the bus boy was visibly upset, loudly clearing tables and knocking around the chairs THAN was lifting his shirt up to itch his belly?? They don't currently have their liquor license but mimosas are still on their menu. We ordered chicken & waffles and the crème brûlée french toast. The french toast was not good at all, i was basically eating cream sugar at that point because how much it was drowned in it. The chicken & waffles were very mid. Just went here this weekend. Let's start with the positives. The waitress was nice and attentive. The interior is vibrant and open. I would describe the food as aggressively mediocre. If you're going to have a breakfast place in this area, your sausage gravy and biscuits need to be scratch made and decent. The gravy was clearly from a mix. It was flavorless and watery. Not even a hint of creaminess or spice. The biscuits did not feel homemade either. They were dry and dense. Someone else in my party got chicken and waffles. Again it was clear the chicken was frozen and fried up, not made in house. The food wasn't the worst I've had, it just wasn't great. If they start making some things from scratch then maybe I'll come back. It feels doubtful to me that this restaurant lasts very long with the quality of food. read more
