Hash Benedict
Jennifer H.

We are in GA staying with friends. Came here for some breakfast. I had the corned beef hash eggs Benedict and my son had a bowl it was very good. The service was ok our server was busy I think there were only 3 working. He could have been a little bit more attentive and enthusiastic. He Just seemed like he lacked customer service, no character and it makes the experience feel really off. It's very clean inside and I think they even have a conference room which I thought was a nice idea. So my only critique would be to be more attentive and smile.

Always solid service and good food when I go here. Would highly recommend the french toast or any of their dishes with the custard- absolutely delicious!! The ambiance is friendly and welcoming, its bustling every time I come in.

BEST WAFFLE EVER! You know how you wish you could find a large, light, fluffy waffle that fills you up but does not FILL YOU UP. Well, I found it right here in Canton, GA at Eggs Up Grill. That's right their chef created one of the best smelling, light as air, fluffy giant waffle. It takes the syrup and stays in the crevices of the waffle. With each bite you'll taste the full flavor of the waffle. Yes I am raving over a doughy cloud of deliciousness- because they have earned the right to be called " the Best Waffle in Canton!" Stop by and order yourself one- you won't be sorry. Try it plain then ask for the powdered sugar on the side. Trust me this is a waffle game changer. I love your waffles Eggs Up Grill in Canton! I am tellin everybody about them

I'm glad I didn't look this place up on Yelp before going (a rarity for me) because I may not have gone being it's 3.5 stars. Not sure if it's a consistency thing for those who have gone more than once, but this was our first time going, and everyone really enjoyed their food. There were lots of dish options and everything was tasty and cooked well. I would give a 4.5 if that was an option, but all in all, it's a solid spot, and I recommend trying it out.

The Classis. Pancake side. Coffee and OJ
Scott D.

Decided to try this restaurant and it didn't disappoint. I had the Classic: 2 eggs, bacon, toast, home fries and I added a pancake. Portions are plenty; especially in this economy. Sat at the counter and service was great. Place started getting busy for a Friday morning so you know it's a local favorite. It's a family owned business and you can definitely tell that they take pride in it. If you are looking for something different than Waffle House or IHOP and want an enjoyable meal experience I highly recommend this place.

New business.

So, Hot New Business here. A very clean and open venue. It's always kinda cool when the kitchen is open to the seating. You get to see the magic happening. Lol. Good coffee at a breakfast place is a must and they did not disappoint. Hot robust and smooth!! The shrimp and grits omelette was delicious with the andouille sausage and grilled peppers and onions. For a brand new business the servers were very efficient, polite and repeatedly fill your coffee. Another must for a good breakfast place. All in all a very good first impression. Looks like they have a winning combination here! And check out the menu, some very interesting omelets. Yes I will be back to try them all!!

I came to review B&B and my review from 2023 was still pending...! Sheesh!…read more Uh, so yea, we have been a few times and heck if I know why we don't go more. But tonight? B&B got their hooks in us! Husband was craving a burger, I wasn't really wanting anything specific; we just didn't want to go major chain. Keep them dollars local, y'know? Help a real person. Anyhoo, I did a quick search and asked if he wanted to try B&B again. Thank goodness he agreed, y'all. My only gripe with B&B is their parking lot. It rivals Trader Joe's for impracticality. So take your compact car! They had the corn hole stowed but heaters were blazing and there were people dining on the patio when we walked in. Better ye than me, folks! We were seated immediately and then we met our delightful server... Early server spotlight for Owen. Such nice energy for a gloomy Wednesday evening, really upbeat without being annoying, the perfect level of attentive. Go when he's there and reward his awesomeness as well! Okay, I decided this afternoon that I wanted a li'l blue plate special for dinner. And Husband wanted a burger. He got a spicy smash burger, the actual name escapes me. Spicy & smashed, she was! There was a good amount of heat from the pickled jalapeños so he took a few off. His recommendation is that they go for a smattering of the diced variety instead. (I've created a monster!!!) He was also very happy with his battered fries. Unless I'm misremembering, they remind me of A&W fries; not as seasoned or as battered as Checkers, but so good. What did I get? You're sweet to ask! I did three sides: garlic green beans, fried Brussels and fried okra. Yes, yes, and yes. They are so wild, I think all three were fresh! Can you even?! You know exactly what I'm talking about when I say frozen fried okra has a taste. If this was frozen ever, they need to patent that technology. The garlic green beans were giving Chinese food but better. Really balanced seasoning, good crispness, flavor. Green, if you can imagine! And the Brussels sprouts... With bacon and sauce... Those leftovers will hate to see me coming. "Leftovers?" I sense you ask incredulously. Yes. Because while perusing the menu online, I saw a nice, big picture of their Butter Toffee Cake. And I was instantly imbued with the knowledge that this cake would heal all my past traumas, pay off my student loans, and give me winning lottery numbers. Only time will tell on all counts. But if you order one thing at that restaurant, I demand it be that cake. The person handling those cakes went to the Hogwarts' Academy of Culinary Wizardry. I can hardly describe it and I have no idea what flavor ice cream is on top except it's the best one. If you like food, but especially butterscotch, or not - you need this cake. I blacked out after that and woke up here on Yelp, so... Please go try that cake.

With a heavy mound of onions and mushrooms on top, the grits ended up feeling dry and pulled all the moisture out of the bite. The flavor itself was fine, just lacking moisture and balance. We also ordered the scallops and risotto. The risotto was the standout. Bright, fresh finish, great texture, and not overpowering. The scallops, unfortunately, were the opposite. They had a noticeably strong smell right away, which usually means they're not as fresh as they should be, especially at a $40 price point. We took them home, but every time we opened the fridge the smell hit us, so they ultimately went in the trash. Despite this particular experience, we've always enjoyed this place. I visited on a Thursday just before PM in mid-January and received a warm and friendly welcome. At this early our there were a few patrons about so there was no trouble getting a table. The darts, bowling, and arcade looked enticing but I was on a timeline and couldn't partake. They have a mix of 80's and later music that was very enjoyable and at just the right volume. I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken. But unlike the typical serving of a flat piece of chicken these were two chicken breasts on top of chunky mashed potatoes made with peel on, and topped with a jalapeno bacon gravy. The textures and flavors were perfect and despite the visibility of jalapenos in the gravy, the heat was barely detectable. The side of green beans had a wonderful garlic seasoning and were perfectly cooked and had that nice crunch still in them. Multiple staff came by to chat and ensure everything was perfect and ensure my drink was always refilled, and even management came by to check my table. The space, the concept, the vibe all work. The bartender was excellent. Very professional, very kind, and clearly doing everything he could to hold the night together. I honestly felt bad for him. He was busting his ass nonstop and never seemed to catch a break. Unfortunately, the kitchen was an absolute disaster. From the start, four or five items on the menu were immediately unavailable. As the night went on, more and more dishes were 86'd. The message coming out of the kitchen was that they simply did not have the ingredients to cook what was on the menu, which is a pretty alarming thing to hear as a guest. Things got even stranger when we learned there was no chef in the kitchen. Instead, the general manager was back there trying to cook. It very clearly was not working. We ordered appetizers and waited about 45 minutes for what I believe was a seafood dip. When it finally arrived, it came out as a thin, runny soup. Not a dip. A soup. On top of that, it was so aggressively spicy it was nearly inedible. It honestly felt like no one back there had ever made the dish before. The food, flat out, gets a zero from me. If I could give it a negative score, I would. That said, the front-of-house staff deserves credit. They were polite, professional, and clearly trying to manage an impossible situation created by the kitchen. I felt for them, because they were the ones having to face guests while everything behind the scenes was falling apart. Again, this is based on a single experience, and I truly hope it was an off night that's been corrected. If not, I don't see how a place like this could survive. The concept is good, the people up front were good, but the kitchen that night was a complete failure. The entire 2 hour + experience was comp'd.
