Food was super good, service was extremely quick even with a waitlist. Restaurant was clean and comforting!

Had this back in Sept when in the area and it was good. A nice place for breakfast. Wait wasn't too long. Food was good. Service was good.

Breakfast was fabulous. Large menu with lots of options. My husband and I opted for a sweeter breakfast with him getting the rainbow pancakes and myself the pineapple mochi waffles. They do not skimp with the fruit! Lots of places cheap out on the fruit and this place loaded it up! Quick service and nice staff! read more

Terrible service, added name to wait list and waited for over 90 minutes for a table... got text saying tables wer running late and my table was expected to be ready between 9:14 and 9:29.. I returned at 9:28 not knowing I was sent another table stating my table was ready At 9:22 am The "host" Noah declined offering our table because we were 6 minutes late coming back, and said he would have to put us in the back of the list again...after waiting 90 minutes...I looked at Noah and asked if it was fair... did not raise my voice, did not get confrontational just asked if it was fair... Noah then said he can choose to not serve me and that I could not eat there anymore. This type of service is horrendous and the upper management should be made aware of this. read more

This Eggs N Things was the worst place my wife and I have ever are in. First we waited 55 minutes to be seated because people were setting at their tables for 30 to 40 minutes after that were done eating playing on their phones. With a eatery as small as this one you would think they would have nice signs up for customers to be aware of this. They close at 1:00p.m., but were turning customers away at 12:55p.m. So, they were worried about closing more than getting customers to the tables. Do they realize how much money they are loosing? If closing is 1:00p.m. then the doors should not be locked until then. Our waiter was the worse. He never came and ask us how our meals were or to refill our waters. I had a choice with spam and eggs to get pancakes or potatoes or rice. I ask him could I sub toast instead and he stated it would cost me 75 cents more, really? I think this is why he never came back to our table and he had another waitress bring our check to us. But, that is okay, because I forgot to leave any tip. The place is very old looking, pieces of the ceiling falling off, and overall the place looks dingy and dirty. The staff has no personality at all!!!!! read more

Generous, reasonable, well prepared. I ordered takeout so I wouldn't have to pay hotel prices, and my order was ready quickly. I'll try one of the Benedicts next time. read more

We were looking for a comfort brunch spot and found Eggs 'n Things. Our party of two waited 45 minutes on a Sunday at 9am. Check in is downstairs with the host but once the buzzer rings, you go straight to the dining room upstairs (staircase on the right). Spinach, Bacon & Cheese Omelette ($12): The waitress mentioned this was one of the popular omelettes so I gave it a try. Decently sized portion (filled up 70% of the plate). The flavor of the omelette itself was sub par but I upgraded my regular 3 buttermilk pancakes to coconut pancakes (+$3 or $4); best decision of my life. The coconut pancakes and coconut syrup combo is SO GOOD. There is shredded coconut inside the batter of the pancake and more as a topping. Definitely a must order item!! read more

Had a decent wait but that's almost always a good sign. Once seated upstairs they took our order while we enjoyed the open air but covered so we didn't have to worry about rain. Food came out amazing. My wife had the Kalua pork Benedict and I had the Island style fried rice with Kimchi. Good food with better pricing than most of the places around there. read more

Iconic 50+ year old restaurant in Waikiki. Great breakfast and great service every time we've ate there!

Friendly service, great menu items. Went 3 times in a week during our visit to Hawaii. Delish! read more

Three of us had breakfast this morning. PROS: * After being told the wait would be over an hour, it was actually about 15 minutes. Under promise and over deliver. Perfect. * Host guy who seated us was very nice. * If you get a window seat, the view is great. However, don't be fooled by the fake hibiscus in the windowboxes. Ha * Food came out fast. (Also a con. See below.) * Fruit bowl was good - a bit frozen though so we doubted it being fresh. CONS: * Everything was fast and rushed and didn't allow any time to feel relaxed. * Omelette wasn't pretty and was very basic and disappointing. * Loco moco was bad. Rice was good. Eggs were decent. Meat patty was dry, tough, and tasteless. Couldn't eat it. The gravy tasted like instant (packet) gravy. Not good. * Coffee tasted old and bitter. This is Hawaii. Where's the smooth, good Kona coffee? Only on Kona? SUMMARY - we would not go back. read more

Quick and friendly service, good prices, very generous portions and a 5% discount for kamaiina! Husband had spam, rice and scrambled eggs for $9 and I had eggs Benedict which came with 3 pancakes for $13...English muffin was extra big, not just 1 but 4 slices of Canadian bacon, and then these enormous fluffy pancakes! Enough to share with someone--I could only eat half! We sat upstairs at a table. They open early so we had no problem getting a table at 6:45 am. We spent 6 days in Waikiki and decided to give Eggs 'n Things a shot. The food and atmosphere upstairs was awesome. We arrived at around 1000 and it was busy! Waited about 20 minutes to seat a party of 2. Once seated, took awhile to be greeted by our server. All in all, not a bad spot to hit for breakfast. read more

I tried the Hawaiian loco moco and the ftesh fruit rainbow panacakes, the pancakes were excellent the cream is not too sweet at all, the loco was ok not much flavor as i had tried at another spot my thing is if i have to add a pinch of salt and some hot sauce (which i usually never add to my foods) then it was too bland. The lady (Delta i believe her name was) is very attentive and punctual. Just make sure you remember to ask for whatever you need up front because they do get busy and might not get to you like you might want. We vacationed in second week of June and was surprised by the beautiful weather they were having so upstairs patio type eating was perfect. All in all its an excellent place to try out. Enough so that we decided to come back and eat several times while here. I didnt explain pricing because most reataurants are expensive so no point in putting it in this review. We're a family of six so its not a mcdonalds which is around the corner from our hotel but at that point you get what you pay for read more

Quaint little place to have breakfast before you start your day on this beautiful island. Scrumptious too! You may have to wait 30 minutes, but it's worth it. A popular breakfast spot in Waikiki. The pricing is great with large portions. The service good, and the coffee is delicious. I typically order eggs with turkey bacon and dry toast on the side; it comes with a side order of pancakes too! You don't want to miss the pancakes!! How can you go wrong with eggs and bacon, right? I typically order them over easy, but I like my whites to be done. Unfortunately, I've had to send them back to firm up the giggly stuff, otherwise, they're delicious! Their pancakes are so fluffy and simply amazing with three different flavors of syrup: coconut, guava, and maple. I've tried them all, but coconut is my favorite À la Moana shopping center is their first location. This particular location is nice because it has parking. read more

A well-known breakfast to go to when your on the island. They have a few locations, but we went to the one across from the post office. Parking is always limited, but we park at the post office (shhhhh). If you're there early and get to eat in and out quickly, you're good parking there! It was tricky to get a table when its your first time there or haven't been there for a while. Put your name on the list downstairs, they'll give you a pager, and then you wait. Once it buzz, you give them the pager and go upstairs. There's a little souvenir shop downstairs while you wait. Upstairs is a bit tight, any person needing assistance will have to sit downstairs (which I've seen before and it's probably for that purpose only IMO). Service is alright, depending where you sit they might miss you. We sat in this little area by the window and it took forever for us to get someone. I had to flag somebody down. Had the special French toast with pineapple and Mac nut. That was delicious, especially when you pour the coconut syrup - yum! It was a bit too much (3 fluffy slices), probably could've shared but my boyfriend was into their pancakes and that was yummy to him (thank god!). Their scramble is good, the first around! We were here a second time and boy did they messed up the ordered. Got the wrong cheese, wasn't cooked thoroughly, the eggs were runny, and the cheese was not melted. Not good. Overall it was an alright experience. read more

Yep, great breakfast place in Waikiki. Opens at 6am so if you just arrived from the US you may want to walk in as it opens. Within 10 minutes there will be a queue that goes all morning. Use Yelp waitlist feature to put your name in while you are in your room. Then walk down and you'll need to wait only a few minutes in the shade outside. Ok, the pancakes are really good with lots of whipped butter.... Have one in your party get the omelette with short stack option rather than potatoes and share them. No Swiss cheese but I tried mozzarella with bacon and spinach instead and pretty good. Going to try the Loco Moco today. The coffee is a Kona blend and was really good also. Enjoy!!! Warning- Make sure you reserve a spot at the right location because there are multiple in Waikiki. read more
