Standard breakfast fare from a standard breakfast joint.
I ordered the benedictine St. Jacques. I received a pretty good eggs benedict with asparagus, tomatoes, thick slices of ham, english muffins and a gigantic portion of hollandaise sauce. The plate was balanced off with potatoes, fresh fruit, and a side of meat. All was good, but nothing to write home about. The fiance had the Champion, which consisted of feves au lard, cretons, bacon, 2 eggs, toast, and sausages. He finished his plate!
The decor is kind of funny; sitting there reminded me of the previous restaurant, Avenidas. The chandelier by the front door seems a little off for a run-of-the mill casual breakfast joint... but hey, with standard food and prices, you really can't complain! read more
