The food was amazing and did not disappoint a girl from Chicago who is extremely fond of Bohemian food. We were initially turned away for not having a reservation, ordered to go and were eventually told we could have a table. My daughter felt we were "profiled" and turned away for being American since after we were sat two other couples came in and were sat who clearly did not have reservations, but spoke French. Vacationing with my boyfriend in the area and stopped here for breakfast one morning, the food was great we actually ate everything on our plates. Such an awesome little hidden gem, it doesn't look like much from the outside, but the inside is very european and interesting. The entire menu was in French (my boyfriend and I only speak English) but that didn't stop us from figuring it out. We could tell that everything was fresh and made to order because we could hear the cook who was also our waiter cutting and chopping away in the kitchen preparing our meals. It was honestly so good that we actually wanted to go back the next morning, but unfortunately the restaurant is closed on Sundays. This hidden gem is in the middle of a residential area with very subtle proof of existence. The dining room decorated like your European grandmother's home was welcoming and quaint. The owner greeted and sat us before preparing our meals himself. I could hear him chopping the veggies for the omelettes and the French toast with fresh fruit was perfect.
