This food is absurdly good. Went with my husband and two kids and we all loved it. Definitely a hidden gem and only 10-12 USD. The staff was actively responsive with a caring attitude that spoke the greatest English I have ever heard In this country.

The staff is super friendly and made sure as soon as we arrived to get an english speaking waitress for us. The prices were very fair considering how much was on each plate. The food came pretty fast and everything was delicious. Would highly recommend this breakfast spot.

Quebec diner with reasonable prices and good grub. Came to Tutti Frutti for breakfast. It was as…read moreexpected and very enjoyable. I had a typical 2 eggs, bacon, home fries and toast while my, absolutely amazing, wife devoured the tuna melt. We both enjoyed our food and the diner vibe. The service was prompt, the kitchen expedient, and courteous. Never had an empty cup of coffee! Although we've not tried them, it looks like Tutti Frutti offers some yummy crepes and waffles too! Bonus, coffee is pretty much included with almost every breakfast. Plenty of parking and easy access from the street makes this diner a great quick eat and dash option. Recommended and we will be back!

It's a pretty big location, the line on weekends moves quickly and its very clean. If you order a latte, espresso or cappuccino, it will be a Nespresso beverage. Ive be twice now and the ingredients are of good quality, fruit is fresh and they accommodate gluten allergies. They actually have a separate griddle just for gluten free meal preparations to avoid cross contamination. I had the eggs Benedict and the hollandaise sauce was delicious. It was probably a mix but it didn't taste like it. My mom ordered a crepe made with buckwheat so it was already gluten free but they made sure to prepare it carefully on the seperate griddle. The staff are very efficient and knowledgeable about allergies. Portions are also generous. This place is great for budget breakfast! Definitely recommend this location.

You get a set menu with savoury bites on the bottom tier, two scones in the middle, and desserts on top. The menu changes from time to time, but everything is always delicious. They also have a great selection of teas. It's from the same team behind some of my fave brunch spots (Régine and Janine) so no surprise it's a hit! Expect to pay about $60/person for the regular high tea, before taxes and tip!

I was genuinely excited to experience afternoon tea at Paparmane after discovering the café while…read moreexploring the beautiful streets of Montréal the day before. As someone who regularly enjoys tea service with friends, I immediately made an 11:00 a.m. reservation, even though the only available seating was at the bar. That didn't matter to me, I was simply looking forward to the experience. The tea house sent multiple confirmation texts, including a reminder to arrive 15 minutes early, which I happily did. I dressed for the occasion, arrived on time, and was greeted at the door before being shown to my seat at the bar. I let the hostess know that the second guest would not be joining me, she acknowledged and removed the additional menu, then I waited. And waited. And waited. For approximately 15 minutes, I sat without a single acknowledgment from anyone on staff. No one welcomed me, explained the tea service, or even said, "We'll be with you shortly." At one point, a waitress silently filled my water glass, but there was still no interaction beyond bonjour. As the minutes passed, I couldn't help but notice that I was the only Black woman in the tea room. I sincerely hope that had nothing to do with the lack of service. I cannot say that it did. But when you're left sitting unnoticed while eagerly anticipating an experience you specifically planned your morning around, it's difficult not to wonder. Rather than cause a scene or ask for attention that should have been offered naturally, I quietly stood up, picked up my purse, walked out, and returned to my hotel disappointed. About 15 minutes after I returned to my hotel, I received a phone call from the owner asking why I had left. I explained exactly what had happened. She responded, "That's what we thought." She apologized and graciously offered to provide complimentary afternoon tea service if I would return. I respectfully declined. While I appreciated the apology and the offer, some moments simply cannot be undone. You don't get a second opportunity to make a first impression, and you don't get a second chance to make me feel welcomed after I've already been made to feel invisible. I arrived excited for what I hoped would be a memorable experience, and beautiful ending to my final day in Montreal. Instead, I left Paparmane feeling embarrassed, overlooked, and less than. This review isn't about receiving free tea or compensation. It's about hospitality. Every guest deserves to be acknowledged, welcomed, and treated with dignity from the moment they take their seat. Montréal has been an incredible city, filled with warm people, memorable food, and wonderful experiences. Sadly, this was the one exception. I sincerely hope Paparmane reflects on the importance of making every guest feel seen because first impressions matter, and mine left me feeling invisible.

Small restaurant owned by two ladies who both run the kitchen and man the tables -La Visite…read morespecializes in breakfast - although they do have table d'hote meals and lunch items like pasta or sandwiches. They have no frills breakfast deals like eggs and toast for 5$ advertised at the entrance. I wanted something a little fancier so I opted for a custom omelette combo that is served with potatoes, toast and a choice of veggies or fruit as as side. I was disappointed with the cheddar cheese that I chose for my omelette, it ended up being Kraft Single slices which kind of ruined the whole thing. Makes me think the ingredients are cheap - although prices aren't a bargain for everything. The only orange juice they have is bottled Minute Maid and it was 4$. They try to upsell by asking if you want thicker italian style bread, but there is an additional charge, and the overall portions are small. I suppose if you want a basic breakfast, this does the trick, but the lime green setting is unappealing and tiny, doesn't make me want to dine here knowing I can make something perfectly equivalent, if not better and just stay at home. The chairs and booths are cramped, very uncomfortable. The backrest for the booths are angled in a way where you are leaning forward the entire time.
