Our visit did not start well and went down hill from there. After a brief wait we were seated on the patio at the only outdoor table with zero shade and the sun in my eyes. When I started to request a different table the hostess muttered "only table", threw the menus down on the table and ran away. When she came back by I asked again if we could change tables as the sun was directly in our eyes but she refused stating that other people waiting for other tables. We then asked if they could lower the sunshade but the manager came and said they could not. We tried to make the best of it but frankly I was not impressed by the food either. I had lemon ricotta pancakes. They should be light and fluffy. These were heavy and gummy. The rest of the meal was average at best. For such a highly rated restaurant I was very disappointed. I'm local but I won't be back. There are much better places for breakfast in the Lake Worth/Boynton Beach area. read more

On a busy Sunday Morning the hostess hand out pagers, but she calls out numbers instead of using them. She was not overly friendly about seating us after skipping us. With 2 coffee pots three feet away our waitress goes inside for 2 coffees 10 min later. I got 3 eggs very runny instead of "medium" and 3 french toast with blue/green mold right in front. Shocked how easy it was to miss, I suddenly lost my appetite. Waitress offered to get something else but I declined. I figured she would probably mix up my check with the next table when she came back and I wasn't disappointed. At least the coffee at the smoothie place next door was good. read more

AMAZING BREAKFAST! We arrived at Eggs-Cetera and were greeted by the friendly staff. The wait was over 30 minutes, no problem. Our server was kind and polite. She told us about the watermelon mimosas (amazing). We ordered the Lobster Benedict with home fries and the Stuffed red raspberry granola french toast. The food was delicious. I've been here several times and each time was enjoyable. It's always SUPER busy, which makes parking and the wait a pain. Perhaps they could somehow add more tables or improve the wait process (several people leave after getting fed up)? Once you actually get a table, the service is prompt and friendly. The food comes out within 10-15 minutes and the portions are very generous. I always leave there full and satisfied. Their eggs, sausage, and potatoes are always perfectly seasoned and super tasty. Their plain pancakes are quite plain, which I suppose is to be expected. Their cappuccinos taste great and have terrific presentation but never arrive truly "hot" (perhaps due to the predominantly older demographic, who knows). I did have one issue in the past with one of their breakfast combos ringing up as $10.99 (even though on the menu it clearly said $10.69) which required the manager's assistance on both occasions - a bit annoying - but I see that it has since been fixed (who knows how many people didn't notice though...) All in all, this has become my go-to breakfast spot. They're affordable and their food quality is consistent. I hope they stay around for a long time! read more

We came here on a Sunday morning around 10 am. The place was slammed and there were a bunch of people waiting outside but since there was only 2 of us, we got sat right away! Our table was inside and felt kinda crammed, would have probably been better sitting outside but we werent trying to wait. She had great recommendations and was very attentive. We put in our order, I got a basic eggs/home fries/toast combo and my boyfriend ordered the omelette special and a side of pancakes. Then the wait began.... It took over 30 minutes to get some scrambled eggs and an omelette!? The kitchen was seriously slammed, but come on!? So finally our food came- my boyfriend loved his omelette and pancakes. My food, however, came out wrong with bacon (which I didn't order) and the wrong type of toast. I mentioned it to the waitress and she told me to keep it and she would get me the toast I ordered. We were soo hungry by the food came, I forgot to take pictures before scarfing down my eggs and toast-the presentation was beautiful. Food was delicious! Overall, this restaurant is beautifully decorated, new and clean. There is a ton of potential for it to be amazing, especially with the awesome Service staff and extensive menu. Food was yummy. They would get another star had my food been brought it properly and didn't take so long. A co-worker who also went this past weekend had a similar experience. I think once they get the kinks out in the kitchen and the hostesses learn to manage the pace of seating tables it will be great. We will go back in a few weeks and I'll update my review. read more

This place is a must every time I visit the area. The spicy bloody Mary's are actually spicy and definitely worth the money. I got the lobster eggs Benedict and it was great. It only looks like a few pieces on the top but there was a lot of crab meat under the sauce. My boyfriend got the breakfast burrito and that thing was thicker than a chipotle burrito. The breakfast potatoes are always crispy and makes it work the trip every time we're in town. read more

Newly opened and long lines but we were up early on Easter and decided to try it. We were seated immediately outside, nice and cool, comfortable chairs. The waiter was extremely attentive and very personable. We ordered the eggs, french toast, bacon. I liked the eggs, french to easy had a touch of cinnamon which was good, the bacon reminded me of hotel bacon...disappointing. The other order was the all American. He felt the eggs weren't as good as mine, home fries needed seasoning, over all he felt it was ok and not.worth waiting in line for. He also felt like they rushed us. Ordered the skinny wrap it was horrible. First of all it was cold, so cold the cheese did not melt inside. It had some off-putting liquid on top which tasted like vinegar and clearly did not belong. The wrap itself was soggy, probably due to the weird liquid. Waitress told manager who did not come to our table. My husbands pancakes were tasty and Other plates looked appetizing. Maybe this skinny wrap should be removed from menu. It was truly one of the worst things I've eaten. Yum yum yum!! Went here early on a Sunday (9am) and it happened to be the coldest Sunday of the year. However, the wait for an inside table was going to take too long so we decided to outside and brave the cold. We started with mimosas (so cute- they came with your own mini bottle) and coffee while we looked over the menu. I decided on the lobster Benedict and my date decided on the southwest sunrise omelette with added lobster. Plus we ordered a side of of biscuits and gravy. Too say that our eyes were bigger than our stomachs would be an understatement. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the amount of lobster added to he southwest sunrise omelette was phenomenal, although with the $9 surcharge I expected there to be that much added. The lobster Benedict wasn't as hot as I was hoping but it was delicious nonetheless. I will absolutely be back and hopefully will be able to snag an inside table or at least snag an indoor table. A stupid waitress, a mistaken food run, slow on the condiments, hell, a wobbly chair. There is always a wait yet we are seated promptly. They have an abundance of hustling staff. It shows. The worse restaurant ever. If I good give 0 stars I would. I am a bariatric patient with a card from my physician that I am only able to eat 3oz of food. I asked if I could order from the kids menu. Eggs-Cetera Cafe ruined my day today!! I am a new mom and all I wanted was breakfast. So my husband ordered an omelet with cheddar cheese and grits with cheddar cheese for me. When he got home with my order my omelet had some other cheese with chunks on it, clearly not cheddar. It tasted awful. Then my grits had a hair in it!! Definitely not sanitary. Lots of Benedict's to choose from too, including lobster if that's your thing! Portions are hearty, swift, and fresh. Have brought friends who partook in the lunch menu and also liked it a lot. You really can't go wrong, but expect long lines and a wait on weekends for breakfast/brunch. Have sat outside and while there are fans, I would not recommend it during summer. Went to brunch with my mother and our waitress made a very anti-Semitic comment- she mentioned that the prices were low due to the large amount of Jews in the area, who expect to get things for cheap or free. After my mother alerted the owner of this atrocious customer service, he had her come over and apologize, which was hollow at best. She should have been fired on the spot.
