After a long weekend of cooking, I was craving a breakfast sandwich to start my week on a good note. On a Monday, it's a nice and quiet atmosphere. I liked that I could order on a tablet and not talk to anyone yet as I was still waking up. I ordered The Scramble egg sando and it was delicioussss. Fluffy, toasty and a had a spicy kick from the sauce! The carmelized onions added a nice earthy component and I believe the buns had a light sweetness to it. The only thing I could see balancing out the flavor profiles would be a refreshing component, maybe some greens? But I'd definitely recommend and order again. It was ready in about fifteen minutes and brought to my table, which was sweet of them as I wasn't expecting that. There's only a few tables inside but there's some picnic table spots outside, perfect for groups or if you bring your pet along!
Their sandwiches never disappoint. Eggs are fluffy and the bread is nice and toasty. Waited about 10 minutes but honestly, it's worth it.
Such a cute little spot! The chicken burger is my favorite! They give you a big piece of chicken, with a little bit of a spicy taste, plus fresh vegetables. The chicken is so big that I usually ask them to cut it in half because it's too big to eat in one bite! It's really filling and perfect for breakfast. Another thing you can try is the Eggy--it's really good too! I sometimes come here on Sundays with my hubby, and we always enjoy it. Friendly service, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere. Definitely a place we'll keep coming back to!
Tell me why I am the first one to arrive at 7:00 am this morning Wednesday, August 12th and my guava matcha has no hint of pink like the picture. Who's the owner or manager here watching over the crew at the beginning of their shift??? I mean it's totally green! I will bring this to work and see what's going on. Customer service is blah, not even a good morning or a smile!!! At 7:30 am sipped on my guava matcha and I hardly taste any guava. I just got scammed of my $6. Seriously That's crazy yo' what happened to this place. Not coming back here. And the eggy is not worth the dollar and some change that mason jar is literally a joke. Sorry that's just my POV. Want customers to keep coming back, this isn't how you do it. Dude, eating my sandwich now! Didn't have time to eat it for breakfast and the money i paid for avocado isn't inside!!! That's crazy. Maybe the kitchen crew needs to stop talking and focus on the customers order. I'll have to call the manager! $21 for two items and no one is answering the phone at 12:45 pm right now.
Hi everyone! I ordered this for a quick pick up lunch between working, and the ordering on their website was pretty simple and easy to use which was nice. I ordered the Hawaiian Morning Sandwich ($20), it was super super yummy but I did think the pricing was excessive (imo) ... Also the Honey Matcha was surprisingly so so good. I'm giving it a 4/5 only bc of the pricing and bc I didn't really sit down to enjoy the place. I would say the cafe is really small and pact so not a lot of room to lounge.
Went here on Friday morning after a run with my friend. It wasn't busy and we ordered on the kiosk. We both ordered The Scramble and I also added bacon to mine. She got a hot coffee and I got an iced matcha latte. It was quite fast, we got our food in 10 mins. Can't go wrong with a scrambled egg sandwich :) The matcha could be better though! I felt like the taste wasn't as strong as I like.
Egghead Sando Cafe is located in the same plaza as CVS and Lucky's, which makes it super convenient and close to home. I've only ordered takeout from here since I prefer bringing it home to enjoy. We ordered three sandwiches, two fries, and two drinks. Each item came neatly packed in its own paper takeout box, which made everything easy and mess-free to eat. At first glance, the sandwiches looked huge because of the oversized buns, but I appreciated that they balanced it out with just as generous a portion of fillings. The fries were good, both the criss-cut fries and the tater tots stayed crispy even after the drive home. The two drinks looked beautiful, but they were slightly watered down, and the strawberries weren't as sweet or ripe as I had hoped.
The sandwiches are still delicious: the Side Chic and the Ultimate Breakfast did not disappoint. The sausage on the Ultimate Breakfast was good. And the Arugula and Chicken in the Side Chic was flavorful and delicious. The egg was a nice add as well. We also ordered a hot and iced House Coffee which was made through a pour over. The coffee was not strong enough for our taste. The service was reasonably fast. And the ambiance was simple and clean
I was looking for a good breakfast sandwich spot and came across this place while browsing Yelp. The reviews looked solid, so we decided to give it a try. I ordered the Ultimate Sando with an extra sausage patty, bacon , waffle fries, and the pineapple cucumber tea. Honestly, it was just okay definitely not worth the price in my opinion. My girlfriend ordered the Ultimate Sando with just sausage and bacon since she's picky, and she agreed the sandwiches were pretty average. The fries and tots were good, and the drinks were definitely a highlight. Overall, we ended up spending close to $80, so just a heads up that this place is on the pricey side. Service was good we ordered through a kiosk, and the staff was friendly. The space is clean and laid back, but a bit small, so if it's busy you may end up eating outside. Overall, it was worth trying once, but I probably wouldn't come back.
We ordered some breakfast sandwiches to go. We ordered the Ultimate sando and the Hawaiian morning and both were delicious. I did enjoy the Hawaiian the best because they used a thick slice of spam and eggs were cooked perfectly. Overall, this a great option if you're craving some breakfast sandwiches.

Prepare to wait about 30 mins. And the drinks??? We wouldn't get again. Got the Vietnamese coffee which was just condense milk.. strawberry matcha and honey matcha, both honestly really bad. I got the eggy which was the potatoes & pouched egg, REALLY good, Didn't think I'd like it but very good and light. My bf got a sandwich with scrambled eggs and bacon, very big sandwich but flavorful! Staff was not that welcoming but answered questions we had.
First time at this location! I had the other location in Cupertino before it closed. I got the chic sandwich, and I thought it was super flavorful 10/10! My friend got the scramble sandwich, and she liked it! We both shared a side of tator tots which was super crunchy! For our drinks, I got the strawberry hojicha latte and my friend got the black sesame latte. We both thought it was lacking in flavor and gave it a 6/10. I probably wouldn't recommend or get those drinks again:/ But I'll definitely come back for the food! I also wish they had more seating. It was a bit packed on a Sunday but we were able to get a little seat inside the restaurant. They have outside seating as well. read more
I had tried the San Ramon location and was disappointed, but this location has changed my opinion on the cafe itself! I ordered the B.E.C, the bacon and egg were cooked perfectly and it was paired with a delicious sauce. I also ordered a honey matcha latte with oatmilk and my sister ordered the strawberry hojicha latte with crystal boba. The service was pretty quick and they were friendly. Cute cafe, but The Chic wasn't great. Detailed breakdown below: **Service, 5/5** Friendly service, and food came out relatively quickly. **Decor & cleanliness, 5/5** Super cute interior with tons of natural light. **Price & portion, 4/5** Portion size would be great, but the taste of the chicken fell short for me and didn't make it worth it. **Taste of the food, 2.5/5** I ordered The Chic, which visually was stunning with the sunny egg and the huge piece of chicken. However, the chicken wasn't hot and was barely above room temperature. The breading was good and a bit crispy, but the chicken itself wasn't juicy or tender. It was actually quite dry and tough for what I'm presuming is thigh/dark meat, which makes it extra disappointing. The bun itself also was kind of dry and not fluffy like I was expecting. I've had this same sandwich a while ago at the Cupertino location and it was phenomenal, so sad that this location doesn't seem to be serving food at the same standards. If I return, I definitely won't be ordering the chicken sandwich again. read more
Count me in as an official Egghead! I loved coming here for an awesome breakfast. After a long night of drinking, the fiancé and I scurried on over to Egghead for the perfect breakfast for the morning after. He ordered the fried chicken sandwich and I got the steamed egg on top of puréed potatoes with toast on the side. We also ordered a side of tots and avo (avo was just on the side looking a little sad like it was forgotten. Probably could've been put in his sandwich). The fried chicken breakfast sammie was bomb! So crispy and light; full of flavor and the fiancé could not stop talking about it. The steamed egg (which came in a mason jar) reminded me of one I've had in Vegas at Egg Slut. Very tasty and different! If you're particular about texture and not in love with softer foods, I'd stay away from this. Tots were also great! We both ordered the Egghead cafe lattes with almond milk and they were good. Could've been sweeter but that's a personal preference. Overall, service was great and quick. The spot is a little on the smaller side and indoor tables were scarce. They have outdoor seating but it was pouring when we stopped by. Be prepared to pay for sit down service prices as this wasn't the cheapest breakfast (~$50 for two people). We'll worth it though as we loved and enjoyed a unique breakfast! read more

I had the eggy with no bacon, scrambled eggs sandwich, passion fruit and orange ice tea and Hojicha brown sugar latte ( both 50% sugar). The service was a little slow nothing too bad. The Eggy ( no bacon) came with 4 perfectly sized pieces of toast. It needed to be mixed in well for some flavor. I'm guessing because I skipped bacon they didn't really compensate for flavor. Egg scramble sandwich was requested with spicy mayo but it didn't taste like anything. The brioche with the scramble sandwich was one of the softest I have ever had. Overall it needed some flavor too but still wasn't bad. I also had a hot brown sugar Hojicha latte with 50% sugar and really enjoyed it. Would probably try the iced version next time. The passion fruit and orange ice tea 50% sugar was great too. The ordering screens could be a bit cleaner. read more
Really good Taiwanese chicken and brunch sandwiches, if you happen to be around the San Jose automall. I really appreciate the more modern interior design of this chain - the aesthetic is very nice, and it definitely feels nicer than some of the other locations. You order at a counter and food comes out pretty quickly. There are a few places to sit. I really think the Chic outshines everything else on the menu in. It offers large pieces of Taiwanese chicken, breaded and cooked to perfection, and the chicken is still moist and tender. An over medium egg and arugula completes the sandwich very well. The tater tots as a side are very worth it in my opinion (just regular taters, though). I'd err on the side of caution for the drinks, though - tried a strawberry hojicha latte which was not sweet at all and a brown sugar hojicha latte which tasted like pure sugary syrup. Still, I always try to stop by and get that chicken sandwich. Only downside is that the hours Egghead is open are rough to make for working individuals, unless you're an early riser. read more
I've tried Egghead at different locations and they are all consistent in quality. I got The Chic sandwich and it was so good! Was very fresh and a big but affordable portion. The B.E.C sandwich was very good as well, with thick cuts of bacon. We also tried drinks here for the first time and I got the matcha coffee which was so good despite me being super picky when it comes to anything with matcha. The coffee and matcha flavors complimented each other well and it wasn't too sweet. The worker brought out our food to our table and was so nice and attentive. There is limited seating and did start to get busier once it got closer to lunch time. Great spot for brunch! read more

While on my mini trip to San Jose my friend suggested visiting egghead and I'm in love and can't wait to go back. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, there's a nice seating area outside where you can enjoy the sun and your food. Prices are reasonable and the food is delicious and has fresh ingredients, also not salty at all the flavor was perfect ! we picked up a bacon, egg and cheese, tots, the side chic and do drink we had the passion fruit and orange green tea along with summer breeze. Everything was fresh and delicious!!! Overall 10 out of 10 I highly recommend and will return. read more
If I could do 4.5 stars I would. This place is pretty solid. The one detractor I don't like is lack of seating. They do have some seating inside but depending on the weather for outdoor seating isn't great. That being said, there are so many good points at this place! I've tried their brown sugar drink, matcha latte, matcha honey latte and all of those are solid. There is definitely matcha flavor so if you're weird like me and you don't like a really strong matcha flavor, be warned. That being said, each of the drinks grew on me. Each of the sandos have their own personality and we're pretty spot on. My partner said it absolutely hit the spot for a breakfast egg sandwich and even asked that we go two days in a row! Seating was hard to find but we found that around 1pm and around 2pm worked for us. That being said, it is a pretty small sample size so come for good food but dont expect a seat! If you get one, great but if not, it might be better to do to go. Parking here is plentiful. Since it is in a small shopping plaza, you really don't have to worry about lack of parking. They are easy to find and the location is really close to a park that is great for Pokemon go and if you're feeling like going up hill, communication hill is right there for some after brunch/lunch exercise. read more

review number 23 here, the image isn't from egg head, but it is a restaurant with an egg head that operates during the night called Burger club it's just burgers with some sides, but the burgers are pretty good and the tater tots are super good. but I have tried egg head before an egg head is also very nice. For carb-conscious folks, the egg salad is delicious. It is filled with fresh Greens, Eggs topped with cheese, chives. It is complimented by chunks of bacon, mandarin oranges, tomato chunks and shaved parm. Thai is a really delicious breakfast. The cafe is very simple, always neat and tidy with chairs for sitting. They have automated tablets for ordering or you can order from the front. read more
I've been meaning to try Egghead Sando Cafe for quite some time and I finally got the chance to try this place out! This is located right by Tastea on Capitol Expressway. This store is not too spacious but there's outdoor seating with plenty of tables as well. The Chic: 4.5/5 Chicken sandwiches are pretty good but some places tend to be on the dry side or even too salty due to too much seasoning. I actually really enjoyed this chicken sandwich because not only was it juicy, it tasted just like Taiwanese popcorn chicken but in a patty form! I absolutely enjoyed this and the veggies really paired well with it too. I would definitely order this again. Strawberry Hojicha Latte: 3/5 I don't normally order Hojicha lattes as I prefer it in a soft-serve form when it's less strong, especially the one from Matcha Love. However, this Hojicha latte was so creamy and delicious and the strawberry paired really well with the roasted tea flavor. This is one of the better Hojicha lattes I've had so far. read more
Great food for a pretty good price! I went here with my mom and we shared the side chic sandwich and the egghead salad. The food was fresh, yummy, and pretty healthy. The sandwich was a bit difficult to eat because it was so tall but it was okay. The interior was a medium size so we were able to find seating. There's also outside seating for more space. The interior decoration was cute and I liked the vibes of the whole place. The workers were nice and accommodating. Parking was also easy to find because it's part of a shopping plaza. wanted to grab a quick brunch with a friend and stumbled upon @egghead_sando_cafe ! they seem to have four locations so far in south bay , including some in downtown sj, east side sj, and santa clara, making it easily accessible for all of my south bay friends specializing in breakfast sandos, the buttery house made bread paired with the generous chicken and drippy egg made this a really solid meal! also tried their strawberry matcha lattewhich was refreshing, but i just wish the matcha taste was a little stronger. definitely want to try their hojicha drinks next time:) -- -- -- what i ordered: the chic ($10.75) strawberry matcha latte ($5.50) read more

Service was amazing! I love how vibrant and kind their workers were. The energy was unmatched and I'm glad we chose to go here over subway. Prices are roughly around the same from subway (right next door) to this location. The only difference is quality, taste, and okay fine everything is different and better here. Food: We got two items and all were so so so delicious!!! We'd definitely come back here again. read more
I tried Egghead for the first time when they were located in Cupertino but they now moved to San Jose. I am super disappointed by the location change because it is now so much farther away and I won't be able to have it as often. This place is delicious and I crave it often! My go to is always the B.E.C. and Hojicha Latte! I really like breakfast style sandwiches and the flavor is amazing! The Hojicha Latte is to die for - so fragrant and delicious! I have tried the The Chic before but sometimes the chili powder can be super overpowering and the arugula can be somewhat bitter. This sandwich definitely has a kick to it and you really have to be in the mood for it to order. The San Jose location is definitely an upgrade to the Sunnyvale one in terms of parking and abundant of seating - indoor and outdoor. The staffs are all so friendly! I highly recommend this place. I just found out they opened a location at the Rivermark Plaza which is so much closer to me and I can't wait to go! read more

I was looking for a place to sit down and pass some time, as I came to San Jose to visit my friend, but she was still delayed at work. I came by around 4PM on Friday and it was empty, so I ordered a strawberry matcha latte and sat down. It was quite hot, so the AC and cold drink was appreciated. They also had WiFi which was a plus! After about an hour, It started to get busier. It seemed that a lot of people came by to grab to go meals for dinner. I started to get hungry, and ordered a "The chic sandwich" and was not disappointed! My reviews on the food: [Strawberry matcha latte] 4/5 It was good, but fairly basic. I wish the matcha was stronger, but it was nonetheless very refreshing on a hot day. The price of it was average in comparison to most places. [The Chic sandwich] 5/5 One of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. I prefer it over Hot boys in Oakland and southern comfort kitchen in CV. I think it's because it's very reminiscent of my childhood since the chicken is like a giant fat popcorn chicken! It was super juicy, and huge. The price is very fair for how big the sandwich is, and I even saved half of it for my friend. She agreed that it was really good even though it was cold by the time she got to eat it. Overall, it was a 5/5 experience for me, because: 1) they had WiFi and were chill with me sitting there for a few hours to study and wait for my friend. 2) The pricing of everything is relatively affordable compared to other chicken sandwich places. This place is around $10 compared to other places being $13-$15. 3) The interior of this place was nice, the A/C was set to a perfect temp. Restroom was clean. We came on Sunday around 11am and it was really busy. We ordered the scramble sandwich which was really good. It had grilled onion and house sauce which tied the whole sandwich together. We also ordered the chic sandwich which the chicken didn't have much flavor and it had little to no sauce. Both sandwiches were also a little on the colder side, but it may have been due to how busy they were. The strawberry matcha and waffles fries were really good. Keep in mind there is also limited seating and you may need to wait for a table if you would like to sit inside. read more
Went here for a casual lunch and left very fulfilled. The Chic Sando: This was a pleasant surprise as I was expecting your typical fried chicken or chicken katsu style sando but it was prepared in a way that is similar to Taiwanese popcorn chicken. Nice seasonings and texture. I think the chicken could have been a little crispier and the egg a little less cooked so it has that runny yolk but overall still a good sando. 4.3/5 Hojicha Latte: It was a little sweeter and milkier than I expected and the hojicha tea was a little light for my preference. But overall still a decent drink. 3.5/5 Overall, I'd come back and try their other sandos if I'm in the area. read more

Great place if you wanna treat yourself. Definitely would recommend to eat these sandwiches there as they taste the best warm and fresh. I got the breakfast burger which was actually really good, it did not need any extra condiments. The bun is super fluffy. The eggy probably is their most popular item but I was a bit underwhelmed from it. The bread wasn't toasted well and the base of the dip felt like clam chowder with an egg on top which I wasn't expecting. It is a nice size for a snack but k probably wouldn't order the eggy again. The honey matcha drink was really refreshing, just make sure you mix it all up first before drinking. This location isn't super big, there are probably around 4 to 5 tables inside. read more
I've heard this place moved the previous Cupertino location, closer to where I live. So I decided to check it out again. After reading some reviews, I went with the Hojicha Latte w/ almond milk and a Hawaiian Morning Sandwich. I got the Hojicha Latte because someone mentioned it tasting like a milk tea and I liked the idea of it. Indeed, it does taste like a good milk tea lol. The Hawaiian morning sandwich had spam which I wanted to try because I wanted something other than a beef patty or popcorn chicken piece. It was so good, and had a little spice kick to it. I am not sure what spicy sauce is in it but it blended well with the fried egg and spam. There's plenty of parking in this plaza and although there's limited seating inside, it's very well decorated. I recommend it 100%! read more
Cute, fresh buns, and smart set up. I like places that focus on a few things and do well at them. This seems to be a very popular spot with a nice selection of egg themed sandwiches from scramble only to spam or fried chicken centers. I got the "Chic", which had a nice kick on the fried chicken. Also the fried chicken was juicy and tender, always a huge plus. The sauce layered in the sandwich with arugula also added another yum dimension. Looks like they make their bread in house and they have a good selection of lattes as well. read more
Ordered the ultimate sando to-go via grubhub and pickup was pretty seamless! Their sandwiches are very very messy however so I do highly recommend sitting down for this one. Overall really great flavors in the sandwich itself, especially when paired with hot sauce, it was a great time. The sandwich seems like it'll be heavy from the description but it wasn't too bad and left me satisfied (even without the tots). Also their house sauce is delicious. If they made their sandwiches less messy and more compact, and brought their price point down I'd probably come more often! read more
I've always seen this place featured on my Instagram feed, and I'm not a morning person but I finally decided it's time that I try out this place. I finally woke up in time to get ready and stop by since they close at 3pm! The parking here is really easy to find since it is located within a huge plaza so there shouldn't really be a problem, and there are also electric car chargers here as well. The spot inside gave me a cafe vibe and there were some tables and chairs for people to sit by and eat or wait for their order. There is a kiosk you can order from or a team member can assist you with your order. The service was very quick and staff members were very nice--shoutout to the guy with the tan hat and black piercings who served me today! Everyone had amazing customer service, such as welcoming us in and bringing our order to our table. Today I ordered their B.E.C and fresh milk with strawberry puree drink. The sandwich was wrapped nicely with parchment paper and it was easy to hold. The sandwich was not too overpowering or greasy at all. However, there were some spots in my sandwich that tasted extremely dry. The drink was honestly whatever, it was just fresh milk and strawberry puree after all. I honestly think that the sandwiches are pretty expensive for what you're asking for (I paid somewhere around $10 for my sandwich alone), but I think that Egghead Sando Cafe is worth trying. I enjoy this spot, but I think there are better places that you can get your money's worth out of. read more

The difference is in the grilled chicken. It was so good that I forgot I was sharing with someone else. The Chic- $9.75 The arugula was really strong in this one. Maybe they put too much. I was excited to come to this new location, but I found it to be pretty average? It was my first time trying Egghead and I came on a Thursday afternoon. It was pretty crowded and all the interior tables were taken, but luckily one opened up. I ordered the Chic Sandwich + Hojicha Latte. Chic Sandwich: 4/5 This was a pretty HUGE sandwich. (I literally couldn't fit it in my mouth haha.) I liked the texture of the chicken, which was really crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. I'm usually pretty sensitive to spicy foods, but the spice level was perfect for me. The only thing I didn't like about it was that it was a little dry? There isn't really any sauce on it and there was a ton of leaves that left the sandwich feeling unbalanced (with more leaves than meat). It's also pretty expensive, at almost $10 per sandwich. Hojicha Latte: 1/5 I'm not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed with this one. It was really bland and tasted watered down when I got it. Definitely needed more flavor in there. I recommend picking one of the other drinks (if any). Overall, I had an okay experience. The food is quite expensive ($10 per sandwich? ouch!) but worth a try. read more
Making some pretty swanky breakfast sandwiches, Egghead has quite the fast-casual egg-based sandwich fare that really does each part of the sandwich remarkably well. Their minimalist décor is pretty slick and clean, so all in all it seems like a pretty swell place to hang out. Parking is pretty easy in the massive parking lot, but the first-come-first-served seating is a bit more limited. There's both inside and outside options but only a couple tables worth (and the outdoor ones aren't all covered), so there's a chance you'll need to wait for seats or end up eating in the car like a number of folks I saw. Service was polite, and quick to answer questions and make corrections (we got the wrong item and they fixed it immediately). Expect to place an order up front and get a number called out for your order; it likely won't take long though since our order came out in record time (maybe 3 minutes tops?). Their sandwiches seem to cover quite a wide range of flavors, but of course the main attraction is their pervasive use of eggs. We settled on the Ultimate Sando and their Breakfast Burger, waffle fries, and a Strawberry Matcha Latte. ==Waffle fries== Surprisingly good with a *very* nice and crispy flavorfulness that I could just eat them straight up without sauces. Seasoned pretty well and make for an easy recommend. ==Breakfast Burger== A pretty swell savory bloom with arugula to contrast with all the other elements working in the sandwich. Less burger and closer to breakfast sausage though, so I couldn't taste a difference between this and the Ultimate sando in that regard. The medium egg helped the onion/mayo blend into a very creamy and rich bite. The brioche bun was a fluffy buttery delight that wrapped the 'burger' in its warmth. ==Ultimate Sando== Definitely highlights the egg extremely well, because it's stellar. Maximum fluff and bursting with flavor. Tasted like a glorious sausage omelet wrapped in an airy buttery blanket of comfort carbs. I found it to be worth the more premium price of entry, and definitely more filling as well. ==Strawberry Matcha Latte== Nice blend that makes for a fruity and refreshing matcha, but definitely on the mild sweetness. Great for more Asian tastes that don't like their tea sweetened a lot (namely me); not enough sugar for those used to Frappuccino levels of sugar. Alternative milk options are available for no fee (as per their menu, we did not take them up on it since we didn't notice until later). read more

I was headed to 85 when I saw their storefront sign. Upon checking Yelp, we made a detour here instead because a San Jose Eggslut?! Whaaaat. If you've ever been to Eggslut, the concept is pretty much the same in which there are soft scrambled eggs in different variations over a brioche bun. They even have their version of a poached egg served with a side of toast. I got the scramble sandwich and It was pretty much just egg and cheese sandwich -I thought it was okay. The egg was cooked perfectly however it tasted a bit bland and needed salt and pepper. The brioche bun however was delicious. Reminded me of a Hawaiian bun. The Hojicha Latte was practically a milk tea which kinda threw me off. I should have known by the description of the beverage but I idk what I thought it would be lol. Definitely give it a try if you've never had a soft scramble sandwich. Just add some seasoning if you're someone who likes a bit more flavor with their egg. read more

First time at this location and it did not disappoint. Haven't had a Sando I didn't like! The Chic is my go-to, but today I ordered The Ultimate w arugula and swapped the pork patty for their delicious thick sliced bacon. 10/10 recommend! A hot brown sugar hojicha latte is a hug in a cup and compliments the tasty food. Tip - In addition to your breakfast Sando, order the chicken from The Chic a la carte and eat it for dinner!! read more
I enjoy this little cafe. Went here one time with my fiancé and another time ordered from online using Yelp food order with GrubHub. Pros: - The sandwiches are large portion and taste super delicious. I got The Chic, forgot to take a photo, and it was pleasantly tasty. The chicken was so juicy and seasoned just right. In addition, I love the arugula inside the sandwich, it balances the taste from the meat and the bread. Would definitely recommend. - Drinks are unique, refreshing, and not too sugary, which I enjoyed a lot. - Modern but cozy shop's interior designs. - In my experience, cashier was very helpful. Cons: - The cafe is on the smaller size for dine-in. This place tends to be really crowded and the line goes all the way to the entrance. Because of its compact size, it is awkward to stand around with so many customers to wait for orders. - Orders take a significant amount of waiting time so I would not recommend coming here if you are in a rush. All in all, Egghead is a lovely cafe, with trendy appeal and good food&drinks. I would definitely come back! read more
I love this place! Fairly new, but it has already made a lasting impact on me. The charm derives from the staff, the impeccable service along w/ the minimalistic / modern decor made this place a winner. You can come here for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner! They have extended their hours to 8PM. I certainly can eat breakfast at any given time. From light to gluttony - this place has it all. I've been here twice thus far.. each time I ordered something different to try their menu. The Eggy is my favorite because how they present it is one of a kind. The potato purée so smooth topped w/ perfectly cooked bacon and fresh chives. The baguette was toasted, made a delicate finish to my morning. The Ultimate Sando was delicious as well. The scrambled eggs was creamy and I am drooling now as I type, but I remember how my eyes lit up after I took my first bite. The caramelized onions, avocado, and pepper jack cheese elevated the sandwich. I could not taste their house sauce.. but nonetheless it was a heavy breakfast I did not regret ordering. read more
Came here with my sister after a recommendation from a good friend and left feeling a-okay. Egghead is located in the same plaza as Aquis and Cha Cha sushi, specializing in egg-focused sandwiches and non-eggy drinks. We ordered: Eggy - a cute jar of poached egg atop mushed potato with chives. It also comes with 5-6 lil crostinis to dip into. Taste-wise was good, but texture-wise personally wasn't for me. The Chic - basically a giant popcorn chicken sandwich with an egg that we forgot was even in there. Definitely needed to season the chicken more and needed more sauce as well. Strawberry hojicha - just.... A weird taste and barely any tea flavor The service is way slow and with the line forming out the door, it seemed like there was no sense of urgency to get the line moving. I watched multiple staff move like the sloths in Zootopia when asking for extra dip. Overall, I probably wouldn't come back for the things I've already ordered. I've tried Egghead when they were located in Cupertino. I wonder if this is a new location or did it get relocated? The inside has about 4 tables, there are some outdoor seating too. I ordered: The B.E.C - thick cut bacon, medium egg, cheese, ketchup, mayo, on a warm brioche bun Was debating between the BEC and the breakfast burger since they were similar. Not too sure why it's called a "breakfast" burger when it had everything of a regular burger. Anywho, the BEC had lots of bacon and egg. The bacon was crispy, a tad too burnt. A friend ordered some tater tots on the side, at least those had a good portion. Overall, this place was okay. Decent breakfast sandwiches but didn't hit the spot for me and was expensive - about $10/sandwich. This Egghead seems new, hopefully things will improve with time! read more
