    Breakfast Burrito - Chorizo
    Isaac C.

I'm so glad to have a decent breakfast burrito spot that is local. From the first bite, you can tell that they actually take care in their ingredients. Every single component of the burrito is perfectly flavored and seasoned. I decided to go with the chorizo burrito. It was a good balance of ingredients in a burrito. The chorizo was very meaty and not spicy at all. The burrito also had their house potatoes in it, which were seasoned very well and were soft. Everything was tied together with their house sauce to elevate it even more. I have to give thus unassuming place five stars because it has made it into the breakfast rotation. Can't wait to try their other offerings.

First time ever trying an EggBred and what a fun experience! I was limited on time, so could only grab & go, but would love to come back and try this spot again soon..and of course, try more items from this yummy menu :) Aesthetic-wise, this spot is so fun with breakfast puns and creating that "mornings are the new social hour" momentos. I grabbed a Scramble Me Softly craft breakfast sandwich (egg, chives, caramelized onions, smoked paprika spread, sharp cheddar, toasted milk bun) for $9.99. Those eggs were magical! Outside of breakfast sandwiches, they also offer burgers/fried chicken sandwiches, steak & egg sandwiches, breakfast burritos, breakfast poutine, build a "benny" options, and more. They have drinks including coffee/juices and a kiddo menu. Plenty of interior seating and pretty quick/fast-casual service. I have my eye on the Benny Burrito next which is essentially a Benedict as a loaded breakfast burrito with hollandaise and all, or the complete opposite, the Benny on the Rocks, which is a Benedict without the bread but dressed with arugula. Parking can be found in the adjacent shopping center lot, and fresh water while waiting for to-go orders...a thankful touch! Stoked this is now here to stay in San Pablo!

My family and I decided to try something new today! We had remembered seeing this establishment before and had been wanting to stop in, so we finally gave it a try--and we're so glad we did! My fiancé ordered the **Country Fried Chicken with mac & cheese and an egg**, and I got a limited-time sandwich that had ribeye in it. (Unfortunately, I can't remember the name, and I don't see it on their current menu!) I got potato wedges on the side. We also ordered an orange juice and an apple juice, and everything came out to around $50. We sat down and waited for our food, and there was a little bit of a wait. When our food was ready to come out, the gentleman bringing it over noticed that the mac & cheese had accidentally been left off my fiancé's sandwich. Since we had already waited a little while, he brought our food out along with an **extra side of mac & cheese**, which we really appreciated! After enjoying a few bites of our food, we realized the potato wedges were missing. I let him know, and he came back with **two orders of potato wedges** to make up for the mix-up! We definitely appreciated the extra effort and the fact that they made sure we were taken care of. The space itself was open, spacious, and very clean. Overall, we had a really great experience! We weren't in a rush, so the small hiccups didn't bother us at all, especially because the staff went out of their way to make things right. And most importantly... **THE FOOD WAS FABULOUS! ** Everything we tried was delicious, and we left feeling very happy with our experience. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for somewhere new to eat! Great food, a clean atmosphere, and friendly service. We'll definitely be back to try more from the menu!

Plenty of parking Great natural lighting, spacious tables & clean. 1st time, food didn't take long. Tasted great too. Worth the price. Also different from other cafe spots I've tried. No fountain drinks, but they do have a water jug, one that keeps the water cold & bottled or canned drinks.

Finally had the chance to try the newest brunch spot in town! It was so delicious that we came twice in a week! These trendy brunch spots are what you usually see in big cities, so I'm happy that we get one here! On our first visit, we came on a Monday and arrived at 1 pm. We ordered the Sausage, Egg & Cheese, the Country Fried Chicken, and the Truffle Burger. Everything was made fresh. Every bite is packed with flavors, and the Japanese milk bun definitely makes a difference! As for employees, the cashier asked us if we wanna dine in or take out, and we opted to dine in since we wanted to eat the sandwiches as fresh as they could be, and she told us, "Oh, we're about to close soon."... Like, ok? Why ask me the question then? I thought that was odd. Seemed like she didn't want to be there at all, and not a smile on her face even once. Other than that, the sandwiches were still good and savory. My personal favorite was the Truffle Burger, and I wish I had ordered two! On our second visit, it was a Wednesday, and we came at the same time at 1 pm. We ordered the Ben Franklin, the Ribeye steak and egg, and the Nashville Hottie with a side of Chorizo Chili-mac. Everything tasted amazing! I wish the Nashville hottie had more kick to it, but other than that, it was still satisfying and my personal favorite on this visit! The employees were nice and attentive. We were able to dine in at this time without issues. Overall, each sandwich is outstanding, and I can't wait to try other ones on our next visit!

10/10! This place had good reviews but I always lower my expectations, especially with a delivery order! Eggbred easily exceeded my expectations! I ordered the Scramble me Softly (+ bacon), cheddar chive biscuits, and a side of sausage. Easily restaurant quality! The price was very reasonable in comparison to other places. No notes. No changes. Will order again!

This was the first time my husband and I trying the place. We ordered -1 Nashville Hottie -1 Truffle Crunch Burger (no bun so they substituted it with arugula) -2 sides of beer-battered potatoes. Everything was pretty good overall. The portions weren't very large, but the flavors were tasty and satisfying. The restaurant has plenty of seating. I think because it wasn't too crowded when I visited, though I've heard from my friend that it can get pretty busy at times. I'll definitely go back again for sure!

A convenient ample breakfast shop located on a strip mall near the freeway and with plenty of parking. Stopped by on a busy Saturday morning, so the wait time was pretty high but it was worth it. A lot of tables to dine in so there was no issue finding a seat. The Country Fried Chicken Sandwich (4/5) - the toasted Japanese milk bun was so soft and the chicken was flavorful and breaded nicely. I did not receive the side of country sausage gravy so I feel like I didn't get the full experience with this one. I would get again. Scramble Me Softly (4/5) - they use soft scrambled eggs in this sandwich but they were a little too runny. The caramelized onions and smoked paprika spread was a great combo that elevated the sandwich. Chorizo Breakfast Burrito (3/5) - there was no spice to the chorizo. It tasted more like mild sausage. The burrito was loaded with egg, beer battered potatoes cubes, cheese, and the smoked paprika spread. The green salsa was packed with flavor and better than the red salsa. Beer Battered Potatoes (5/5) - Crispy and great seasoning. Probably the best thing overall. Overall, sandwiches ranged from $10-14 and the breakfast burritos/loaded burritos ranged from $10-18. They also have other items like egg Benedict plates, lunch sandwiches, and vegetarian options.

A solid return visit with consistent flavor and great service. Came back to Egg Bread for lunch with BB after our first visit and decided to try a couple different items. We ordered the ribeye grilled cheese sandwich and the Nashville chicken sandwich. Both were really flavorful and well made. The ribeye grilled cheese stood out with its rich flavor, and the Nashville chicken had a nice kick. I also got the blood orange juice again, which continues to be a favorite. Service was great -- friendly, quick, and consistent. Overall, another good experience here. Definitely a spot I'll keep coming back to.

The best breakfast in the Bay! Easy online ordering. Friendly staff. Beautiful graphics on the interior walls make it feel like breakfast heaven! An extensive menu to choose from, with items not available at other places. Great value as well! $$ Their lunch options are also exquisite as well. You have to try EggBred soon! It does not matter what you order. Everything you receive will be outstanding! I can't wait to go back next weekend. Today i ordered the breakfast Poutine. Definitely five stars.

Eggbred just opened up in San Pablo and I was very excited to try! This type of restaurant looks like the kind you'd find in cities down in LA, SF, SJ area, so it's really nice to have something trendy like this down here! I got Scramble Me Softly because it reminded me of EggSlut's Fairfax sandwich and I am always craving EggSlut haha! The sandwich here is very similar and includes the same ingredients. The eggs were nice and fluffy, though I wish there was more filling. I also tried Benny on the Rocks, which had all the fixings of an eggs benedict, but on beer battered potatoes! That was a nice twist and the egg was cooked perfectly. The Country Fried Chicken comes with a side of country sausage gravy and elevates the sandwich. Without it, it just tastes like any other chicken sandwich. Service was quick, considering it was their grand opening, and we ordered 4 items. The staff were friendly and provided some recommendations on what their favorite items were. They also offered us extra beer battered potatoes while we waited for our order. I got to sample some salsas and they tasted really fresh; my favorite is the green salsa! I'm assuming they're for the breakfast burritos. The menu is very big, so there are a lot options to choose from. I'll definitely be back to try the other items! I'm looking forward to building my own eggs benedict next time and also try their breakfast burritos!

My friend invited me to check out this place with him. They just recently opened up with their grand opening today. I have looked online and most locations are in So Cal and other states. They were not too busy at 10 am when I showed up and the staff were very nice. Ordering was easy and simple as well. Though the menu was pretty vast, I had in mind what I wanted to order already. The Ben Franklin: Just think of an Egg's Benedict as a sandwich. Comes with Arugula, an egg, Black Forest ham and their signature bread. The Hollandaise sauce was on the side. Overall, the sandwich was delicious. It was not too salty and the bread was crunchy. The ham was good and the egg maintained its shape. I am glad the sauce was on the side because my sandwich was already naturally messy. I am not entirely sure what sauce it was from, since my Hollandaise was on the side and I used it as a dipper. Still, I found it enjoyable. The potatoes were also good. Overall, I had a good experience. The Hollandaise was on point, so that was a plus for me. I'll probably try the eggs Benny next time I visit this place.

Checked out this spot in San Pablo, this is a late review. I got an order to go, they were very helpful on suggestions for first timers. The food was good. They do have a variety of breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Some that are unique. I will have to give them another try, since I wanted something different and I was in a hurry to order. Good spot to have a food establishment that is locally owned.

We've come for sandwiches and salads. Twice including the most recent visit, we got dismissive attitudes. The last visit admittedly was 30 min before they closed. Because of that, we called ahead to request the desired salad. When we arrived, nothing had been done. OK maybe you don't want to start, just in case of a no show. But when we show 12 minutes before you close and you realize yes you DO have to make the salad, miss me with the attitude. The other dismissive experience was well early in the day. The third experience was for a sandwich and the staff seemed more interested in slacking, moving slowly, and entertaining each other. Not a good look Mr. Pickles. Hopefully someone reads this and sees the needs for a lil chat with staff about approachability and customer service. I understand how horrible and demanding customers can be, and that can make for a miserable day. But the flip side of that is each person walking in the door at least deserves a fair shot at being a good customer experience. All that said, the salads are pretty good and sandwiches notably better than the competition who's name sounds like an underground train - just in case you are the type that couldn't care less how the person behind the counter is acting.
