Not even worth one star. I order the spinach and mushroom omelet and it had to be sent back 4 times. Either the order was wrong or it had hair in the food. Asked for manager and he/she never came to the table. We went there to eat and when she brought the ticket my husband said are you not going to make food. She said oh you still want it. HELL yea I want food but cooked correctly. Hello I did go there to eat. They did take the meal off the ticket but never asked if I wanted anything else to eat which I was hungry. It took nearly 2 hrs and my hubby was done eating abd me still nothing to eat. If you want food that's correct or doesn't have hair in it then Don't go here. read more

This is most definitely my favorite place for breakfast in Bartlesville! If I'm alone or in a group the service is always excellent. The food is always delicious! There is also a Starbucks counter inside! I always look forward to the daily specials. You will have a great time here no doubt. Comfortable chairs, booths & bar stools. Let's face it.... what would you expect from a place that's named "Eggberts" because they specialize in breakfast. Even so, how bad could you totally screw up potatoes, eggs and onions? And, the food was OK.... not great but OK. Service was OK... not great but OK. The cleanliness was OK... not great but OK. So, if you're starving and can't manage two more miles up the road to Wendy's (reviewed earlier), you could probably put up with Eggberts. read more

The food here is really fantastic - whether you want a breakfast any time of day, a light lunch, or a tasty dinner. They usually have specials every day and the quality of the food is wonderful! The cooks are awesome and the menu has a lot of variety. I've eaten at a few other breakfast diners and Eggbert's food is ALWAYS better than any other place. The restaurant also have a Starbucks area, and the baristas don't rush, but take the time to make it just right! I have never seen a nicer staff. They greet you when you walk in the door, and if you're a regular, they treat you like family. The restaurant is very clean. They work really hard to accommodate elderly folks. Went for lunch and ordered Chicken Fried Steak dinner with mashed potatoes, green beans... I've had chicken fried steak there before and it was Wonderful but this was some mystery battered covered meat with a consistency of shoe leather... the waitress asked how the meal was and I told her the meat was horrible and I couldn't eat it ... I ate the green beans and potatoes but she never offered to bring something else or remove a portion of the bill. I paid the whole price but NEVER AGAIN read more

Was back in town for several weeks, and needed some comfort food. Eggbert's delivered, twice. Belgian waffles with bananas and blueberry syrup one day, fried shrimp and salad another day. I don't eat chicken fried steak anymore, so the third visit, I had a burger, and I wouldn't order that again, nothing wrong with it, but there are plenty of other better options. Super friendly staff, very competent, very professional, comfortable environment. And they listen to their customers-- if you need them to change something (eg add handicapped access at a side door), they listen, and they do it. Incredible. Wish I had an Eggbert's close by. I will NOT be eating at the Bartlseville Eggberts any more! My 7 year old son ate the children's macaroni and got food poisoning. By the evening he had severe stomach cramps and started vomiting. The next day I called to politely inform them that the macaroni was bad. The manager got on the phone and was immediately rude and condescending to me. He said (assuming I hadn't) if my child was sick to take him to the doctor, that there is NO WAY he got sick from them. He kept interrupting me and refused to listen to anything I said. I tried to stay polite but finally just told him that if he wasn't going to listen and be so rude that I was just going to call the Health Dept. on them! read more

Ok now we get "down home," small town, cafe perfected. This is a fantastic throw back diner style restaurant with a 50's, 60's style menu which is heavy on breakfast but includes steaks, burgers etc. as well. Oh and don't forget the Hash-browns for they are awesome! So, hungry for an anytime of day breakfast like when Mom would say, "breakfast for dinner" and you would dance with joy? Pleasantly surprised. I live in CA and have many restaurants to choose from. The breakfast was good but more importantly our waitress Tessa was exceptional. Paid great attention to details as well as very kind. I asked what fruit was offered in the side dish. I decided to order it. She came back and asked me what fruit I didn't like and made sure it was not included. She also came twice to give my Mom more hot water for her tea without being asked. That kind of service in a smaller chain restaurant is hard to find. It seems the fried picked Texas style (with jalapeños) was a hit. Really good. Service was mediocre but the food was really good. Get the chicken fried steak dinner and not the sandwich. It's much better. Coconut Cream pie was best around but they were out of butterscotch so we'll be back again to try that one. read more

We came in last weekend and it took forever for us to get our food. I could tell my food was sitting in the back for awhile because my bacon was cold and my pancakes were Luke warm. Well, we decided to come in today and it took us 15 mins just get some water. Service is terrible here. It's nice and clean, the only reason I gave two stars. ALWAYS good food at Eggbert's. My favorites are: Breakfast Patty Melt, Deluxe Chicken Sandwich, Bacon Jalapeno PB&J, Chicken Fried Steak, and if it's on the Special menu the Goulash is AMAZING! There's plenty of other pallet pleasers on the menu. Great servers and staff... and you can be sure, if Mike is there, things are running like clockwork, or ELSE! After living here for 3 months, I finally decided to try this place out to see what all the fuss was about. It's kind of like an iHop, but has a more personal feel to it. The menu is huge and they have a lot of your standard breakfast foods. It's nice that they have a Starbucks inside too, however it's not a retail chain so the menu is limited. I had the Belgian waffle and it was great, you can also get fruit on top. Service is friendly but if you go on a Saturday morning, expect it to be packed! And loud. read more

We went to this location a few times for coffee in the evenings. Closest Starbucks to our house with a great area to sit and sip coffee. A couple of times we decided to get salads to go with our coffee purchase. We tried twice and each time we got home with either no salad dressing or the wrong order. Eggberts has the best breakfast, lunch, and dinner! Their service has greatly improved and they even have a Starbucks now. Eggbert's is a must if you're in Bartlesville. You can go to iHOP anywhere else in the US but you can only get Eggbert's in a select few places. Mike, the owner, is an awesome guy and will always make the service top notch. If you don't know what to get, I recommend the ribeye. It is seasoned to perfection and it melts in your mouth. I also recommend the Bourbon Spice Cake. It's a perfect end to your experience here.
