Saw this was a new spot and decided to try it. I was drawn in by all the chicken offerings and waffle. First the food was not hot. Waffle was cold and hard. Tasted like a Belgium ego waffle that had been sitting out on counter. Sandwich was really sloppy, the cheese stayed cold and never melted. The egg looked and tasted like it had been sitting for a long while. The wrapper of the sandwich was messy too which makes me feel like their kitchen and employees MAY not have the cleanest habits. If I had sat down to ate I would have asked for a refund. I would not recommend it based on my impression of the employees. I don't think it's going to get better. Went to the soft open with my family and it didn't disappoint. Everything was great. I specifically had the Nashville Hot with the loaded fries. Nashville Hot was crispy, juicy, and just spicy enough to not be overbearing but with just the right kick. Loaded fries were delicious, had its own chicken tenders in it as well so it could very well pass itself off as its own meal. Staff were friendly and hospitable even in the midst of the chaotic packed restaurant. The decoration was very fitting too, enough to grab my children's attendance. Unique menu items with unique flavors. Strawberry milk shake was out of this world and we would not ordinarily even be interested in trying one. Service was truly excellent. The service we got from Arianna, Issi, Trevor and Tyra was as good as it gets. We asked if they were related to the owners because it's rare you that a staff of young people care about the restaurant experience and the customers like they each did. That is best to be conducted in an office/private. Based on the activity of the staff, it appears this location has recently opened and may be working through some opportunities. The dining area is clean. Regarding the time to prepare the food, be ready for a wait. They do have a sign posted that your order is prepared fresh. I ordered the Korean Hot sandwich combo. Now where the sandwich was good, I feel the "crack sauce" overwhelmed the overall flavor. I did not taste the Korean spice or sauce at all. BADD was we arrived a few minutes after they opened and we can definitely say that every worker there had on the filtese dirty shirts even with holes in them and their pants was just as nasty looking. Somehow our orders got missed (2 different orders). Order 46 and 48. Once they got to 56 and we didn't have our food I decided to ask. We told them our order number, they scrolled through the display, and asked us what we ordered. We gave them our receipts so they could produce the order. Weird. Chicken quality was ok, but flavor profile on the Nashville hot was quite bland. I can't imagine how bland the plain would be. Sauces were good (crack and Korean) but ranch was packaged. Bread was borderline inedible. If I'm paying $16 for 4 a la carte tenders with a side cole slaw I expect it to be much better. We were not the only ones with extensive wait time for the food and several people were very irritated. (though I think our delay was the only because they vanished from the kiosk). There would have been a chance to get me to return if the issue with our order was somehow acknowledged (since I realize flavor profiles can change trip to trip). Bummer but I understand having to cut costs when a restaurant is struggling to survive. I went inside to order and they had discontinued the wrap that I enjoyed so much. Bummer but ok. So I got the sandwich. They charged me to swap the aioli for ranch! Then left off the vinegar slaw and substituted spring mix. And I'm pretty sure used dark meat for the chicken breast.
