This place is HORRIBLE ! I would not even give them one star - but it did not allow me not to. They don't have cameras they are never there when you need them. They never answer their phone and their gate is ALWAYS open. NOT SECURED FACILITY! ( as their website states) Someone robbed our battery off our camper and they did not give a S*#T that it happened. I've tried to reach them over 5 times on the phone and stopped by about 3 times and they never answer. This place is horrible. Rented in December. Didn't have access to our belongings. Gate was always locked. Crystal, the Manager, never returned my phone calls. We were given a lock with a key to use on our unit. Assumed it granted them access to our unit as well. We didn't use their lock. paid our rent on time. Jan 31 I wrote a check in their office for Feb 1-28 dates. Employee gave me a receipt. Then when we vacated the Unit the end of Feb. I was told I owed another $20. Rent increased Feb. 1 $5. I was never notified of any increase. Then they charged me $15 late fee on the $5 balance. guess I'm not getting my $40 deposit back. bunch of thrives!!!!! Don't rent here. read more

I mailed a check for my rent a week before it was due & it still hasn't gone through my bank as of August 11th, 2021. I left a note in the drop off box on Tues Aug 10 and no one has returned my call! There doesn't appear to be an email for this business & they are not on FB. Sign or door says closed-will return. I pray that Ms Genie is well!...however "someone" needs to be there managing this business! I rented a unit here for quite some time and recently emptied it out. When I originally rented the unit I paid my first month and a deposit of one months rent. At that time the unit was dusty and had some cobwebs from the previous renters. The lady who ran the place said she would sweep it, but it wasn't done and I was on a time schedule so I moved in. During the time my belongings were in the unit they were exposed to moisture, spiders, dust, cobwebs, and more spiders! Seriously, I had to empty every box in the driveway to let the things run out. I also had to repack some things because the weather had damaged the cardboard. When I moved out I took out EVERYTHING, including any tape that had came off the cardboard boxes because I DO NOT LITTER. I also expected my deposit back. I didn't bring a broom, but it came with the dust when I moved in so I left it. 2 1/2 months later I finally received a check from them. They said they had sent it sooner but it was returned. I didn't know this because they didn't call me. I had to call them inquiring where my deposit was. The check was for a partial months rent, prorated from the 1st to my move-out day, NOT MY DEPOSIT! I called and asked why and I was told I left something in the unit or I left it dirty. She didn't know. NOTE* The billing is done in Savannah, but the property is managed by a lady who lives on the premises. When I called the property and left messages regarding my check my calls weren't returned. I finally got in touch with the billing dept. in Savannah to get answers. read more

We moved to the Rincon area from South Carolina in March 2020. I called ahead to see if we could store our two Uhaul trucks in their facility for six days until we closed on our home, and was assured it was a secure area and it was Completely fenced in and safe. The woman told me she lived on property and she locked the gate every day at 7:00 PM. She asked for $20 for each truck and told me I had to pay in cash. When we arrived on Friday evening I paid the manager and we left our two locked moving trucks in the storage area. I got a call on Monday afternoon and she asked if we had picked up one of our trucks!? That there was glass on the ground and a truck was missing. The police were called, she said she didn't hear anything (a 20' UHAUL truck being started and driving off) and kept trying to give the $40 we had paid for six days back to me. I asked for a copy of the lease agreement they use, because she didn't have us sign anything, and I was told I couldn't have one. I asked to speak to the owner of the property, and I was told she wouldn't give me the telephone number for him. Then we were told there were NO CAMERAS, just a fence and a gate on the side of the lot with small chains and small locks. I would never recommend this place. Absolutely awful. The woman running this joint has no idea how to use a computer and was as slow as could be. We did early check-in and it still took 35 minutes for her to check us in. Once everything was said and done, the rental truck that we received did not even work and I had to return it about as soon as I left the lot. Clearly was not inspected prior to all of this. It was a frustrating nightmare. I will never ever ever ever do any business with them ever again. Be warned! read more
