Dominique and Chris were wonderful!! Very professional and updated us every step of the way! Really great guys and would recommend them to anyone! They got our move done from GA to OH and handled all the stress so we didn't have to! That GA sun was no joke with 104 degree feel temps but they never stopped or complained loading up or unloading our two storage units! They made it fun for us instead of nerve wrecking!! This was by far the worst moving experience that me and my family ever had. The shake down started before they ever arrived trying to ask for more money. Then they were supposed to show up at 10:30 the first day with 3 people; but, they showed up at 1:00 with only 2 people to load 2 - 26" trucks! They were supposed to have everything loaded on Saturday and drive down to Florida and unload everything on Sunday. This of course didn't happen as several hours after the job started one of the guys didn't feel well so we were down to one worker. The wrapping of the furniture became less and less as the day went on. We had to go stay locally at a hotel and didn't get to bed until 2:00 a.m. Then the next morning we agreed to start at 6:30 and didn't get started until 8:00 a.m. A 3rd person did show up and it was going more smoothly until they ran low on plastic wrapping and the 3rd person luckily had some in his trunk. They did such a horrible job placing the furniture on the truck that there was over $6,000 worth of outdoor furniture that didn't make it on. They took off about 4:30 in the afternoon with just the 2 driving 2 - 26' trucks down to Florida. They thought that they would show up in our new neighborhood and try to unload at 1 in the morning; but, then again we had to stay in a hotel. The next day was even worse and they took over 16 hours to unload. I had to tell them sternly not to damage the walls or door frames and several items were either scratched, damaged or broken. I had to help put the bed together, the sectional together and had to move over 20 boxes myself. I fed them and gave them plenty of drinks along the journey. I was told that they would bring the outdoor furniture down on Thursday (which was originally promised on Tuesday). Then I started getting texts at 6:30 in the morning after getting to bed at 1 in the morning. This was to inform me that what we agreed on wasn't enough money and that the entire job should have been more money. The owner, Dominique walked through, estimated and told me how much the job would be to get everything moved himself. I had to sell the furniture for a lot less in the neighborhood that was left behind. Needless to say Great Movers (who should consider changing their name to Not so Great Movers) provided us the most stressful and unprofessional service ever. My advice - let the buyer beware in hiring inexperienced movers who are inept and shouldn't be handling anyone's valuables! They might consider finding another vocation! read more

Don't waste your time because that's definitely what was done. I can't understand how I was charged $1400 and my friend and her husband had to come the next day and move everything. These guys showed up with not enough packing materials, left to get more and I'm assuming charged that as on the clock. They then left personal keys and expected someone to come back and help them. No professionalism, no business acumen, no sense of anything. Very nice individuals, that I will give you but worst business ever. I know I was used as a blessing and that's the only reason I won't dispute charges but DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY and I use the words company and business very loosely. I had the pleasure of having Dom and Chris pack our entire household and download it into our storage. This team of movers exceeded my expectations! They were efficient and professional as they worked. They professionally packed our items -- wrapped our furniture and fragile items very carefully and consolidated like items to make it easier for us to track later. They handled every one of our items with great care and were very considerate with us if we had particular guidance for some items. Even in the midst of this southern summer heat, they did not slow down the entire day they worked. I am truly jealous of their stamina; I couldn't keep up! But on a serious note, it is always great to have reliable workers with such amazing work ethic. The epitome of hard-workers. And they were also very cool to converse with -- awesome, chill guys to be around. I highly recommend this company if you need movers.
