Was relocating out of state and researched probably 20 companies. Quotes were all over the place, delivery time for all at 8+ days and the company packing your item would typically outsource your delivery to another. Even the photos from reviews online had us spooked.... Until we found Tetris. Everton, the owner came to our home for a walkthrough, was able to give us a date and even highlighted that they deliver their own moving items not another company. Team showed up at 7am on moving day and couldn't believe how efficient they were! We had 3200 sq ft of stuff and a detached garage full and they packed it with ease. Super friendly as well. Once team was done packing and loading, said they'd have our home items delivered yesterday at 1pm. Granted it's an 8 hour drive but they were there. And the only reason it took 2 days is because that was our request based on when we'd be moving. The team put every item back together and again, worked so efficiently. His pricing is the best in the business but most importantly-watching how they handled our prized possessions just set my mind at ease for delivery day. Treated our home and its items as though they were their own. This was our 3rd out of state move in 5 years and honestly wouldn't think to call anyone else moving forward. Had a terrible experience with Tetris Movers. They showed up 2.5 hours late, disgustingly blew up my bathroom and left a mess, took their time having smoke breaks because they knew they were getting paid by the hour, and on top of that, damaged my infant's brand new crib she has not even been able to use yet! And when they were contacted about this they offered "a replacement part" or "$90"... they literally stripped the screw into the crib, pushed it so far in that it went all the way through, and destroyed the paint where she cannot safely go in it. Two of the 4 sides are damaged! So extremely unhappy with the level of service from the beginning of the move until now. Do not recommend. read more

This is an professional company with friendly workers. I needed an out-of-state moving job done last minute and they fit me in and did a great job. Communication was excellent. They handled my items with care- even had blankets and shrink wrap so my furniture wouldn't get ruined. I had a terrible packing job due to a different business I used and Tetris movers helped me repack what was mispacked and identify damaged boxes. The payment was reasonable and the transaction process was quick and easy. I recommend to anyone that's moving in the area if you want to avoid shady business and difficulties during your move. I have some nice antique furniture, which is also big enough that it's 2 people jobs to move, and my number one goal in a move is to get it moved without me needing to do repairs later. Tetris Movers unpacked the sideboard and other pieces from the back of the truck we drove from Gainesville. I would say, if you have a few pieces to move and want those done right, buy some extra time and Tetris Movers can get stuff moved organized and clean. Obviously, there are all kind of moves, and I was looking for the moving a few things without breaking them move, which I got. Everton was the lead guy for my move. He texted to keep us updated on when he would be there. Then showed up and was organized and intellectual about moving stuff through tight hallways, lifting clean to where the furniture joints stay tight and nothing gets pulled loose, and the whole Tetris of it. I definitely would use them again. Some of moving is to get an actual exact person who is good to work with, because a company can hire anyone. Everton is the owner, and he's even in some of the pics here on Yelp, so that's totally possible to hire someone good to work with and I do recommend working with him. read more

I just had an incredible experience! they were honest, affordable, and provided fantastic service. Three guys loaded our entire house in a 26 ft Penske truck in 3 1/2 hours. Everyone was very classy and professional. The next day a driver picked up the truck and drove it to Phoenix in 48 hours. I wholeheartedly recommend them! I could not be happier! read more

They were timely, professional and efficient. It started lightly raining the day of the move but they continued on and even laid down a packing blanket in the doorway to wipe off feet and the wheels on the dollies before coming in the house. I didn't need them to put anything together but they did make sure items were where I wanted them to be. Would definitely use again. read more

Time changed on the day of the job, and when I let them know that the new time didn't work, they came a couple of hours after the original time. They had to come back the next day to finish and were 90 mins late. They worked for a bit and had to leave again. One person came back alone. He botched the assembly of a $1000 bed, scratching it on top and messing up the hinges on the attached table. They now say they'll only pay me $100 to fix it, which doesn't cover it. They left a heavy TV unhung that I can't lift myself, so now I need to call someone else. Nice guys, but an unorganized mess. read more

They made an appointment to come for an estimate for 10-12 am, then called to say they were running late and couldn't come until 1 which was ok, but then never showed up. When I spoke to them they tried to make it sound like it was because I didn't say it was ok to come later, which is not true. When they called to reschedule I told them never mind - I would not consider using their services. read more

Worth every penny, took all of our heavy bedroom furniture, washer/dryer, sofas, and mattresses from our rental house to our new home. Wrapped every piece of furniture with plastic wrap and a blanket.before moving items. Also picked up furniture from our storage unit. Very friendly guys, would use them again. read more

I hired Tetris to move out of a 2 bed/2 bath ground floor condo into a ground floor house. I set my appointment at 8 AM so I could have time to clean before my walk-through and have an exterminator and repairman come later in the evening. They confirmed, but the night before said they hadn't finished a job so they would be arriving at 10 AM. Then they said 11 AM. They showed up at 11:30 AM with an extra person to help. It still took them nearly four hours to pack and unload. They broke a piece of furniture and did not offer to pay for it. They moved most other items well and made sure to ask where I wanted everything and reassembled furniture as needed. They were respectful and polite. Ultimately I was not offered any sort of discount for them being 3 1/2 hours late (which then caused me to scramble to clean my condo and messed up other appointments that day). They clearly overbooked themselves, which happens, but I just wish they had made up for it. read more

If I had to do over again, I would not have used them. The price was misleading and ended up costing me a lot more than the estimate given. He over booked the day I moved & rushed the time without quality. In his rush, he left many heavy items behind. He charged for 3 men but one man was disabled and not qualified for the job. Also the truck he used was only big enough for one household but he crammed another move in with mine. Never again! Lesson learned! read more

My very first time using a moving service!!! These guys were absolutely AMAZING. The owner came over to do a walkthrough consultation. He was extremely professional, nice, asked questions, listened to my concerns and everything. The day of the move they at the top of my 2hr window that was set. The movers were quick and definitely handled my entire apartment with CARE, wrapped literally everything with shrink wrap and furniture tarps. I hired Tetris to load a 26 ft Penske rental truck from a 3 bedroom condo. I was going to drive it from Savanah 1000 miles to Mass. There was a small issue where one of the movers called off and they were going to be late. Everton, the owner, let me know they were looking for a replacement. When he did not find one he came himself with the one other guy and got the job done. They worked fast and efficient, and carefully covered everything with moving blankets. Everything traveled 1000 miles unharmed and I would say they did a good job. They were also low priced compared to others I checked with. So I was happy and appreciate Everton fulfilling his commitment when one of his workers called off. read more

I move a lot for work and this was by far my best experience with any moving company. They were on time, courteous, professional, super efficient and handled all of my furniture with the utmost care. They cancelled last minute the move in day (an hour before) and then I had to book the uhaul for an additional day ($100) and I had to take off work the following day for them to complete the job. Josh did offer 10% off the next day, but it wasn't enough to cover the additional day with the uhaul or the time I had to take off work. Our tv ended up getting a hole in it, and they were not willing to rectify it saying we caused it. I do not recommend. read more
