Obviously an inside job as the mesh roof was repaired after the theft and the security system wasn't working at the time. I wanted a unit that couldn't be accessed unless you open the door. It was harder than I thought. I guess it's the new way to build storage units. The storage unit behind Petsmart on victory drive doesn't even have a roof. The units are open. Finally I found this place! I have a climate controlled unit that is easily accessed by driving up to the access door and putting in my unique code. It's got a light timer so no waste of electricity. The front gates are open from 7 am to 8 pm according to Google but I thought the guy that signed me up for my unit said it was open while the office was open which is 9 am to 5 pm. Daily. I haven't ever tried to visit my unit other during this time so I'm not sure. My unit went up in price recently, but is still cheaper than my Life Storage unit. I haven't experienced any issues. The buildings are elevated so the units seem to be high enough off the ground to prevent flooding.

I wanted to use a local company that is reliable, clean, and does not try to price gouge people like some other local storage companies around town. This place is well lit. It's clean and the spaces are roomy and appropriately priced. They are no hidden fees on the backend and no skimming or trying to skim a little bit of money every month. If you have homeowners insurance, perfect. You don't have to PROVE that you have it three months in advance before the renewal and then again after you have renewed. They aren't emailing you constantly about things that are irrelevant or have anything to do with your space. This company is fair. This company is awesome. So beginning of August 2022, I arrived at 935pm to grab some things from storage before heading…read moreout the next morning to Ohio to my mom's house. My gf arrived to help me load the few items, I was transporting onto my trailer. She mentioned jokingly something about the facility closing at 10 pm and hoped they'd let us out the gate. Ladies and gents, we were locked in the facility for over an hour. The woman who owns it/lives above the office, refused to help is as this stores policy is not to interact with customers after business hours. We had to call 911 who sent a Jasper deputy or PD to let us out. The kicker is that the manager who lives upstairs was on the phone with the officer to let us out and gave him the code to do it instead of coming down stairs and doing it her lazy self!! The officer informed is that this was the first time he had come out but had heard it has happened before more than once. The legal out they give themselves is that the pedestrian gate was open... meaning we were free to escape if we left our things and vehicles there. Worst of all the manager wrote my gf (the property owner) a scathing email the next day threatening her with trespassing and distributing the peace. She also threatened to evict her if there was another "incident" mind you I was talking loudly about how horrible a business it to hold their patrons hostage against their will, all the while she was peering out the window above us... very "it puts the lotion on its skin..." If we had the money, time or energy to change storage locations...we % would! But again... we feel trapped

I've rented spaces here when they were under different ownership and they continue to be good as Public Storage. Contactless reservations and check in due to Covid was easier than I expected and my unit was clean and ready when I arrived.

I had knee surgery on the 24th of July and my sister n I battled through getting unit empty. Emptied on on Aug 3, notified them unit was empty on Aug 4. They withdrew my money on Aug 3 ($174) and said that because the company that withdraws the money early so it is not late on the 7th. Give me a break, you all are a bunch of money grabbing fraudsters that take advantage of the good people and help the others. CHEATERS!!! CROOKS!!!
