    Strawberry Eegee
    Just Honest B.

FOOD: Strawberry eegee is always my top pick. This time around it was a bit to melted for my liking. ATMOSPHERE: Clean and well maintained indoor seating area SERVICE: Server/Cashier was kind and allowed me to try a free sample of flavor of the month PARKING: Large parking area. I went during closing time so finding parking was easy VEGAN: All eegee's are vegan friendly. You can also order a veggie grinder without the cheese

Always our go to place when we come to Tucson. Still the same great taste from when I was a kid. Eegees is delicious and the pizza fries are the best. Good customer service was good and the place was clean.

Love the giant size bucket of slushees. Such a great price. The lemon has little slices that are such a treat. The strawberry flavor has big strawberries . Tip: big bucket is totally worth it. It serves 25 peeps.

I've always been a huge fan of eegees but this is now the third time at this specific location that they served me what I'm sure was the bottom of the basket fires. Cold and soggy and depressed looking. I hate to be a snob but with how expensive things are these days this is a total bummer.

Parking is in the back and seemed pretty crowded even though I visited during an "off" time -- around 2pm -- for lunch. Still, I eventually found a spot and didn't have to walk too far. The inside of the shop is nothing fancy: order at the window and pick up when your name is called. There are a few 2-person tables inside by the order window and some outdoor tables. There may be some tables in the front, but I didn't make it up there. I had the full-szed Badger as it comes standard (Steak, Pepper Jack, Grilled Onion, Grilled Mushroom, Grilled Pepper, Grilled Jalapeño, Lettuce, Pickles, Chipotle Ranch, Garlic Spread) on Ciabatta bread. Even though I thought I was hungry, it was a LOT of sandwich and I could have been fine with the half. The place was empty save for two other people waiting on orders and they departed quickly upon receiving their sandwiches. The woman at the counter was friendly and helpful while I decided what I wanted to order and offered some suggestions. I sat at one of the small tables and enjoyed my hot, fresh sandwich: the sandwich was both temperature hot and spicy hot, thanks to the really nice jalapeños! I'l definitely come back!

Folks behind the counter are very friendly. The only thing I noticed is they seem to struggle with a really clunky point of sale system. There were many looks and gasps of bewilderment from the two folks trying to ring up orders. This significantly slowed down the long line. They have weird policies around adding chicken to the Bobbi salad. It literally makes no sense to charge $3.50 to add chicken to that salad when it costs $2.99 to add it to any other salad. It's the same amount of chicken, according to the folks behind the counter, but they have to do what the clunky point of sale system tells them to do. Otherwise the food is good and it's a decent spot to grab a note to eat. I recommend the bullrider wrap. Don't add chicken to your Bobbi salad. Mayhem.

The restaurant wasn't busy, so we weren't worried about making our movie in time. I ordered a small French Dip because I wanted to leave room for popcorn at the movies. The cashier asked if it was ok if the sandwich didn't come with the au jus because they ran out. Um no, that's not ok. If there's no au jus, it's not a French Dip, it's just a sandwich, so I ordered beef and cheddar instead. It was the middle of the afternoon, so I have no idea how they ran out of the au jus, but whatevs. My husband ordered a medium sandwich, so we got our drinks and sat down. I also got a small bag of chips too, so I slowly munched on those while waiting for our sandwiches. I finished my chips and we waited. And waited. And waited. Finally, 30 minutes after ordering, our sandwiches arrived. My husband mentioned how long it took and the girl who brought our order out said "oh sorry, there's only two of us". Apparently she thought we were both blind or couldn't count because we could clearly see there was a cashier plus 3 people prepping and cooking. We also saw another employee appear out of the back and leave while we were eating. The wait time *might* not have been bad had the food been worth the wait but wow, what a disappointment. I've never seen such a small sub. I ordered a small, assuming it wouldn't be huge, but for almost $9, it was tiny. It was literally about the size of my palm and I have small hands. My husband's medium was also small and overpriced. Even the pickle spears were small and sad. We had assumed for the prices, their sandwiches would be comparable to Jersey Mike's (which we love) and probably a step up from Subway, but no. I mean, the flavor was good but having more than 4 bites to eat would have been nice. We will not be returning to eat here. There are way better places to get subs at much better prices and you don't leave hungry. Also, because of the wait, we missed our movie time and had to change plans.

Have any of these people ever eaten at fine restaurant or even a half way decent one? Or are they just that poor they will eat anything? This place should win a trophy for Tucson's worst dive bar. I can't believe we were victims of Facebook reviews saying how great this place is, It's terrible! First off the place is ABSOLUTELY filthy. Just look at the bar, there is dirt grime and heavens know what is wedged between semi grouted surfaces that your food and drinks sit on and the menu's were sticking from all the booze spilled on them and not wiped off. For a moment I thought the stringy sticky substance that was stuck to my hands was Spiderman's web as it lingered and stuck to my hands. I literally had to physically peel the menu off my hand and go wash my hands just from touching the nasty thing. All the glasses, shelves and bottles have at least 2 years worth of dust and filth on them. Then it happened, the burger I ordered was not only wrong but disgusting, what should have been a burger with green chiles and cheese was turned into one with uncooked bacon and the nastiest tasting guacamole. THEY COULDN"T EVEN GET THE ORDER RIGHT! I can name six places off the top of my head that has better food and cleaner surfaces and THE LEAST of these is what-a-burger of all places. I've been in a lot of dive bars the only one worse than this didn't sell food, probably unlawful for them as it was so bad. Many of the customers appear to be of Italian descent and, like my bettah half seem to really-enjoy the traditional and authentic staples of, Il Bel Paese (The beautiful country). In my mind, when I think of what an Italian trattoria should look like, this place comes to mind... it's got the classic red and white checkered table clothes, maps and landscapes of Italy adorning the walls, and an energy of a place that is well cared for.
