Placed an online order said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I get there a little later like 30 ish minutes after ordering ..I thought oh my order should definitely be ready. There is a line of people barely ordering when I arrive. Cashier had me wait until she was completely done with the 10 other orders before starting mine. Which I pre ordered. So mine should have been ready already. Then proceeds to stop my order to help a customer buying ranch for 0.81 each. No point in pre ordering from this location you get ur order put in as u arrive pre paid or not!! Do better read more

This is the first location in a long time that's actually given a good portion of the fries and they were super fresh and good! If every location made them this way I'd eat eegees more often, but most of the time they skimp on the fries. Thank you for making them bomb today!:) read more

I went through the drive thru for lunch today and ordered a half tuna without pickles and tomatoes, large fry and medium eegee's. When I got to the window the employee read back my order she said "turkey and provolone without pickles and tomatoes". I corrected her saying it was tuna which she apologized for and had the people making the sandwich correct it. Once I got back to work I opened the bag the first thing I noticed was zero napkins. Little inconvenient but not a huge deal. Then I open the sandwich to find indeed a tuna but loaded up with pickles and tomatoes. It was also a whole size, not a half. I'm fine with the larger sandwich since it was wrong but I don't know if I paid for the half I ordered or the whole I received since I was also not given a receipt. Staff is always pleasant and willing to help! Other stores could take lessons from whomever is training the Eegee's staff! Food was decent, but the actual restaurant was pretty bad. Went in the evening after the rush to pick up an online order. A lot of people standing around doing nothing and the floor was sticky enough that your shoes would stick to it, so the cleanliness of the restaurant is questionable. Biggest issue we had was the guy working the front counter chewed on his fingernails the entire time, absolutely unacceptable. Where are the finger nail clippings going? Eegee's - a family friendly and great place to eat! Unfortunately, it's only fully available in Southern AZ (not in Phoenix.) We love this location when our two families get together. Simply put - we love Joe & Sierra!! We always have at least 5-7 people in our group, the teenagers always have special orders (BLT, but no lettuce...what?!??) and they never blink! Ha ha. The food is prepared fast and fresh!! It's reasonably priced and the portions are more than adequate. Small fries here are like large fries at another similar establishment. The seating is simple but ample. Free soda refills as well. Don't forget their signature slushee drink either! The kids go crazy for them. There's always a new flavor to try...and you can mix your eegee's flavors too. It's really nice that they'll let you sample flavors as well. I went in to the eegee's located at 8320 E. Broadway on 10/20/2020 at 4:50 p.m. The cashier was a very nice and polite young man. He knows how to look people in the eye and answer questions. The only issue was that the bread could've been fresher. Other than that, things were great - the sandwich was delicious, the fries were fresh and hot, and the Scary Berry is a great flavor. Eegee's is a local restaurant that contributes a lot to our community. And I use to come here a lot more to support them, but not anymore. I gave up. This Eegee's that is nearest to my house keeps leaving the back door open and while I sit and wait, flies hover around me constantly. It's a crying shame; shut the door! it won't be so bad if they didn't make me wait so long every time. They have plenty of staff but the kids in back take about 10 minutes per customer. Management needs to take notes from Jimmy John's...it's a lot cleaner there without the flies and you get a good sandwich quickly. read more

I don't generally have much use for fast food restaurants, but I have to admit, I really am a fan of Eegee's. And not just for the Eegee's themselves, for the food, too. They serve mostly sandwiches, hot dogs, and salads. I only get sandwiches, but their hot dogs are Nathan's, so they're really good quality, which is nice to see from a fast food chain! My go-to sandwich is the club. The meats aren't the highest of quality, but they're not Subway Eat (not so) Fresh (TM) substandard quality, either. They're actually perfectly edible and taste fine. I love their house dressing, which is basically an Italian dressing. It is sweet with a little bit of a vinegar note to it. It really enhances the flavor of the sandwich! The bread is always soft and fresh. I actually really like the bread, because even though it's soft, it's still a little chewy, which a sub roll should be. I've also had a few other sandwiches, and they're all pretty decent. All of the subs are large, in my opinion, and full of ingredients. I don't feel ripped off at Eegee's. Their fries are awesome! A lot of it is due to the way they fry them. They're always done so well! They're left mostly soft, not super crunchy, which is perfect! Get some ranch on the side (they don't charge extra for a side of ranch) and enjoy! And their small sized portion is more like a medium or larger at some of the national chains. My favorite Eegee's dessert is...their cookies! They have some of the best cookies in town! They're huge, soft, chewy, yummy, etc! You absolutely have to try the fudge brownie cookie! It doesn't just *taste* brownie-flavored, it actually has a brownie texture! It's awesome! A must-eat, for sure. And what's better than a cold, icy, Eegee during the summer months? Not much! They're not heavy like ice cream. They're refreshing. My favorite flavors-of-the-month are watermelon, cherry cider, cherry pineapple, and grape. Hopefully they all make the cut next year! This specific location can get really, really busy. Be careful if you park on the west side of the building, you can get trapped in by the inevitable backed up drive-thru line. All of the employees have been very nice. Eegee's prices are fine, in my opinion. If I want a decent sandwich or refreshing dessert, Eegee's is where I go! read more

I can't come to Tucson without stopping at Eegee's. Is it the best food ever? No. But it always manages to hit the spot. I usually get a turkey sandwich "grinder style", an order of their amazing crinkle cut fries with a side of ranch (which is free), and the flavored Eegee's of the month. I love October's cherry apple cider flavor, but I tried July's watermelon yesterday and it was pretty damn good. I might have a new favorite. It was like a watermelon Jolly Rancher in frozen slushie form. My only complaint is if you are actually eating inside it's pretty run down and a little on the dirty side. read more

Shouldn't be a big deal; we order those all the time and love them. But the meatball subs were, somehow, messier than usual and weren't cut in half, which lead to an even bigger mess (side note; we were given no napkins). The fries were WAAAAAY dryer than usual. And we asked for four ranches and only got two, which almost lead to a bloodbath between all parties involved. Been to plenty of Eegee's around town and this one stands apart from most when it comes to customer service .Everyone is very friendly and seems like they are happy to be there unlike other Eegee's. I was also impressed by the cleanliness , everything looked well kept and taken care of . I prefer this location more then the others. What a difference the employees and atmosphere can make ! We enjoyed spicy grinders and pastrami grinder. Also loved blue raspberry eegees. I hope the pastrami stays as a regular menu item. Eegee's is a Tucson institution. I can't come to town without a stop for their slushee. And with the blazing heat, what is a better way to cool off than a stawberry/pina colada mix? I split a turkey sub with Mr. L and I was shocked that they served their sammy's hot. I didn't quite get that you get a hot sammy and a cold slushee, but whatever. The sammy was pretty good, but not the best I've ever had. If we were in town on a more happy occassion, I would've spiked my eegee with vodka, but there's always the next trip. 5 stars for slushees!!!! read more

3 Stars for food, because it's at least up to par with the other locations. 1 more for location convenience, because it's a hop and skip away from my house. But, it's not quite a 5 star location as far as Eegee's goes. I cannot stand how long it takes them to operate. Whether it be the drive-thru or walking inside. They have plenty of people working, so there's no excuse for how slow they chug along. Don't bother driving through at lunch. Going inside may be two minutes faster. It actually doesn't seem to matter if they're jammed packed, or just fairly busy. I still had to wait 10 minutes for fries, when my sandwiches were already done. Location is kept clean as far as I could see, but I haven't exactly done a walk-around. Usually it's just the counter and the first couple of tables. read more
