    Black raspberry chip ice cream

It was our first time at Edward's as we wanted to check out Cincinnati night. Why did we wait so long to go?! The decor and ambiance are classic bistro diner. The service was good, considering they were rushed off their feet due to the crowd. It was my first time having 5 way and it was good. The Graeters ice cream was really good - was very impressed by the quality of the chip. Definitely want to go back for their regular menu as well as for Cincinnati night again.

Sit at the bar, grab the tuna sandwich and listen to locals complain about their daily lives.

Love love love- attended an off broadway event at The Flea Theatre- popped in with friends for a quote bit because the nearby restaurants kitchens were not opening for another 30 minutes. Best decision!!! We sat at the bar terrific customer service - the food was unexpectedly delicious. 3 days before we dined across the street and either place will give you equally delicious meals - yup I said it!!! You should Go!!!

Had a great brunch here on Sunday. The huevos rancheros was particularly excellent. The tuna was good, but could have done with a little more flavor on the sandwich. Staff were nice and attentive. Great neighborhood spot!

I really liked this place for brunch. We sat outside and it was ok in the shade (when the sun hit we had to move a bit). The food was delicious from the bagel with salmon and capers, huevos rancheros, to the eggs to the coffee! The waitresses were very nice and very attentive! I like the vibe of the place as well- very chill and very relaxed. I live the inside with all of the decor and the bottles lined up! Very low key and very neighborhood friendly.

Rigatoni with Italian Sausage & Creamy Tomato Sauce

This restaurant is located in a building built in 1915. One can still lots of the remnants of the past. Ordered the Spicy Calamari w spicy marinara and tartar sauce (pic on right). Fried to perfection. Tartar sauce not sure if home made or not but decent. Ordered for main meal the Rigatoni w Italian Sausage in Creamy Tomato Sauce. Dare I say delicious? Yes; delicious. Don't expect the sausage to be whole rather it's finely diced and my new preference. The cream sausage - divine. I enjoyed this so much actually ordered another to go. Parking; lucked out on off street parking. Ambiance is the charm of a building over 100 years of age. Wait staff cordial and offered recommendation of what they liked on the menu. Would I go back again; I would but not often since I'm in NJ and trekking to NY I find to be a pain. Might use public transport to get their next time. We were a party of 3 and sat at the bar.

    Grilled Chicken Sandwich
    Loryn C.

I was feeling some sandwiches and fries for lunch this day so I stopped by. It was also a really hot day so I ate inside. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich that came with salted fries. The workers here are super nice and do their best to give you a pleasant dine-in experience. My food came out pretty quickly - roughly 15 mins. The fries were fried and salted nicely. They were thin enough to be super tasty. The bread for my sandwich was toasted just right - though it made it hard to bite into as the sandwich was stuffed with a lot of chicken and toppings. It was really tall. So biting it was a bit of a challenge, even with a big open mouth. But it was still delicious. Chicken had great flavor too but it was a bit dry in some areas. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience.

Restaurant interior. Empty due to Covid-19, Phase 2 restrictions.

Here's the rundown: - naan: recommend this, though maybe overhyped myself based on previous reviews. The yogurt sauce was delish, but the bread itself was very good but not mind blowing. - BLT salad: dark horse fav! Tons of flavor and I kept going back for more. Recommend as an app - Union Square bento: honestly, wish this came in a real bento box. Seems like a miss, but I suppose separate plates give you more volume. Good to add as a side to whatever else you get. Cabbage was the best of the trio. - rice bowl: squash and rice were solid, but the shrimp was the standout here! Very flavorful shrimp. Not sure how they packed so much flavor into the little bites of them - fried chicken thighs: I mean, yes. They're juicy. They're fried excellently. The side sauces are creative and great for vinegar-lovers like me I also got the carrot cocktail which was ultra smooth and had the right amount of dill flavor. We got two cookies to go which were divine. I'd get them to stay to try it with the oolong milk next time, but we had to run. The service was friendly, courteous. Ambiance was trendy but not uptight. Would recommend for a nicer night out

The gnocchi was nice - just the right amount of chew with a cheesy interior, and a nice sauce that was creamy, crunchy from bread crumbs and little bits of toasted garlic, and a nice herb oil over top. The tiramisu was next level - definitely more chocolate forward than coffee, but still did a nice job of bringing those two flavors together with the salted mascarpone. There's a layer of crunchy wafer bits halfway down that made the experience particularly unique. Total worked out to just under $57 after tax and tip. It's expensive, and getting in is such a hassle. Now again nothing is bad, and if you can try the caramelles you should, and if you aren't getting the amberjack crudo because you're going to be too full then i don't know what you're doing. What I will say - "Mmm. That is a tasty burger!" Is it the best I've ever had? How do I know but it's certainly in the conversation, and most likely better than a Big Kahuna burger. What I loved - two patties that weren't gigantic. Burgers have become either massive monstrosities that the human jaw isn't equipped to handle, or smash burgers, without an in between. Well, maybe not for you new yorkers - in Austin, we have P.Terry's! All in all it was fantastic! and I'd love to come again and try it with bacon and eggs on it in order to ensure I hit my weekly saturated fat allowances in 45 minutes. Also, absolutely loved the chicken tender sliders and would absolutely recoomend them. What has me ding them a bit - the whole ala carte cheeseburger thing - cmon, for the price of a 3 course meal at olive garden you can throw in some papas fritas. Second, the salad (not my idea to order it) was depressing and not good. Third - the $5 fee to a get a rez...although it's probably better than auto grat or those kitchen service charges... Fourth, the service was kinda mixed..one guy was nice while some others were ehhhh. I def like the vibe of the place and would def go back. We actually stumbled into Tanner Smith's thinking it'd be the typical, boring bar-food spot. Nope. This was my first time dining at the Lincoln Square location on 63rd Street, which opened in 2012, and it was outstanding. A friend was celebrating her promotion and invited a group of friends to join her. We were a table of 11 and were seated in the back dining room. Considering the size of our group, the service was remarkable--attentive, efficient, and never intrusive. I started with a gin martini, which was perfectly made. We ordered an assortment of appetizers to share, making it easy for everyone to sample several things from the menu. For my main course, I went with the ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. Dessert was the highlight of the meal for me. The "Death by Chocolate" was outstanding--a rich chocolate mousse, a caramelized layer of crispy sugar over it, and topped with a dollop of whipped cream. It was the perfect way to finish the evening. Walking into the restaurant, the first thing that caught my attention was the impressive 50-foot zinc bar. The spacious dining room, designed by the Rockwell Group, has an industrial-chic feel, with white subway-tiled walls, reclaimed wood, and large windows. There's also a classic black-and-white photo booth in the basement, which adds a fun touch. The menu is broad enough to appeal to almost everyone, ranging from a raw seafood bar and prime steaks to burgers, mac 'n cheese, and popular brunch dishes. I also appreciate the complimentary house-filtered still and sparkling water--a small detail, but a nice touch. The location is particularly convenient for Lincoln Center, with easy access from the 1 train at 66th Street-Lincoln Center and the A, B, C, and D trains at Columbus Circle. A Little History The Smith traces its roots to 2007, when Jeffrey Lefcourt and Michael Jacobs opened the original location in the East Village. The 63rd Street restaurant opened in November 2012 as the brand's third New York City location, designed to serve Upper West Side residents as well as the large number of people attending performances at Lincoln Center. After years of enjoying the East Village location, I'm glad I finally made it to the 63rd Street restaurant. With excellent service, a lively atmosphere, a broad menu, and a great location, it delivered a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I'll definitely be back.
