Used to go here quite frequently. Last time I had the croissant with the ham and turkey it tasted like the interior dough did not cook right. The out side was too well done for my taste as well. They time before that I had a Danish, it tasted old/stale and was extremely disappointing. read more

Today I picked up my one year anniversary cake. Yes, I'm the guy that gave a bad review six months ago about not getting my one year anniversary cake. Today I'm giving them a good review as it was a communication problem and I truly believe in supporting local businesses. read more

Superior old fashioned pastries. Had a maple bar and an apple fritter. Both were light and flaky. Not heavy or oily like at most places. Will definitely return. read more

I have been getting Molasses cookies here for over 20 years. Today they were ROCK HARD and I returned them to the girl at the counter. I'm glad I only bought two because I wasn't offered a refund or an apology. read more

This bakery has been the best! I grew up coming here and have never been let down. The donuts are ALWAYS delicious. So thankful it's still here, hope they stay around forever. The cookie jars make great gifts! read more

This place has been around since before I was born. It's a staple to Edmonds, especially the downtown area. The maple logs is where it's at!! Love how they haven't changed the inside. read more

We hired Edmonds bakery to make our daughters wedding cake for 250 people at Swans Trail Farms in snohomish on September 7. The cake was beautiful and delicious too!! The whole experience of meeting with Ken (the owner) in person. sitting down at his bakery together and taste testing the different flavors of cake and fillings was fun! We came up with a plan and he carried it out impeccably . He personally delivered the 5 tiered "naked" cake which my daughter really wanted. We had ordered 4 tiers but he threw in an extra topper as a surprise . He stayed and decorated it with fresh flowers and made sure it was ready to go by reception time. I hardly knew he was there and wasn't bothered with any questions or concerns , which was wonderful since being mother of the bride was consuming enough. Guests commented on how pretty the cake was and even more important, how good it tasted. We highly recommend Edmonds Bakery for wedding cakes and any large event. read more

My girlfriend and I are both big fans of bakeries as well as road trips and we happened to pop in a week or so ago while traveling and couldn't say enough good things about the food! Donuts were perfect. Thanks a ton for fueling our trip. :D read more

Stopped in here after getting off the ferry. Was very pleased and got a couple cookies from the bakery that we're delicious. My daughter also enjoyed it, it was a nice little stop off. read more

Amazing bakery! Got a BEAUTIFUL cake and grabbed some incredibly yummy cookies too! Make America great again baby!

Best bakery in town! Ken is so nice and has made many cakes for our family over the years.

Delicious! It's what you're hoping for from an old style bakery. Had a Maple Bar that was tasty & fresh (maybe too big ) Also got an almond croissant that was the best and only 2nd to the Grateful Bread's Croissant. Also had a sugar cookie with icing that made me feel five again. So good. read more

Donuts were delicious and the interior is very cute. We aren't from the area (we were on a cross country vacation) but I'm jealous of the locals for having such a sweet spot. If we ever find ourselves back in the neighborhood, it's a definite revisit. Staff was very nice and the person behind the counter made a bunch of very good suggestions. read more

Good prices, if you risk eating anything. When we went in, I was at first impressed by the selection, until I noticed the thick layer of dust covering all of the packaged foods. . . and that included the bread loaves that were marked as freshly baked! And just in case you're wondering, this was not a layer of flour - it was dust. The fact that there were cobwebs hanging from the shelves was just icing on the cake :/ Couldn't leave fast enough! read more

Nice casual spot to grab a cup of drip coffee and a sweet while people watching. I love the sugar cookies with the frosting- no weird after taste that some sugar cookies can give you. They also serve sandwiches made to order and loaves and rolls of bread. We have come to this spot for years and have tried several different items- have not been disappointed. read more

I love a good doughnut (or 2)! There are a few shops to get doughnuts in the area. There's the Donut Factory, Countryside, and then there's the Edmonds Bakery. Let me tell you, some of the best baked goods I've ever eaten. Not to mention a long time bakery and owner. Friendly service, fresh doughnuts and other treats. I love that they bake the buns for the burger joint next door! I only wish they were open earlier in the morning since I drive by every morning at 6am, but every once in a while, I sneak out of the office after they open to grab me a doughnut! Irresistible! Keep up the good work! Locals, support this institution! read more

One of my favorite stops in Edmonds! The staff is always friendly and the pastries are delish! The almond croissant is my go to and the cherry pie was one of the best I've had. read more

The donuts are simply amazing!! The owner is really friendly as well. They also have 1 day old donut boxes for a very good discount.

Loved the cookies great place!! MAGA

Just moved and started working up the street and THANK GOD for the donuts that fill my heart and tummy!!!!!!!!! These donuts boost office moral and productivity and I am very grateful to have new friends at the bakery. YES! The best seller donut, the bar with all the goodies on top of it and the apple fritter are to LIVE FOR!!!! Hope everyone is having the best day! xoxox read more

I have been coming back to this bakery for years. Ken the owner has a very artistic mind. His talent in baking and creating masterpieces is beyond unbelievable. I got a wedding cake for my sisters sister's wedding and it was exactly what she wanted and more. She told him exactly what she wanted and Ken made the mona lisa of cake. My twin daughters would rather have a cake from Edmonds bakery than baskin Robin's. For 9 year old twins that's saying a lot. Also price is very fair, even if it was on the expensive side I would still go here. You cant put a price on quality. You can tell that he puts his heart and soul into his craft. read more

SO bad. Summary: Filthy location, unhygienic and inattentive staff, TERRIBLE product quality. I wanted a sweet treat so I stopped in. After 3 minutes of being ignored at the front counter someone finally greeted me. I chose an individual piece of chocolate cake. As the girl was getting it out of the case another girl behind her PICKED HER NOSE, went to talk to the person in the lobby, then returned to the kitchen without even washing her hands. At this point I had already paid but was thoroughly disgusted. When I opened the box the cake looked like it was days old and I couldn't even stick the fork in it! I will be taking it back and getting my money back. YUCK! read more

I ordered a cake and the owner over charged us on a price that we had originally agreed on, the frosting from the cake started to melt which I emphasized I didn't want, I will not be going to this bakery anymore, there are many more bakeries in Bellingham so I will be taking my business elsewhere read more

The delicious looking black-bottomed cupcakes are super dry and barely have any cream cheese. Actually, it might be a weird cousin of custard instead. Still there is less than a teaspoon in it. Kind of icky, really. People next to us bought a wreath-shaped bread product. They asked when it was baked and the guy said "Saturday morning" and it was a Tuesday afternoon. Cupcake frosting was oddly shiny too. LOVED the antique cookie jars above my head!! Won't indulge there again. read more

Nice looking place, baked good were pretty good, but the service was a little wack. Cashier wasn't wearing her mask correctly and gave off a homophobic vibe and told us to have a "blessed day" which seems kinda unprofessional. Dude who was working in the back was not wearing a mask at all so if I get the virus I'm definitely thinking it was from them read more

What I got: A bacon maple donut Walked in and the place was pretty dirty, but the dude behind the counter was chill and I got a bacon maple donut because I had never seen anything like it before. It was strangely delicious. But yeah, they just need to clean the place up a bit. read more

Delicious cinnamon rolls and excellent customer service by Ken. This is one of our favorite stops when in the area.

Amazing service! Amazing cake for my daughters 21st birthday. Plus the Build the wall cookies very good!

I was looking for a bakery to make a specialty cake for a baby shower a week away. I called up Edmonds Bakery and told them my needs. Ken said he could do what I was asking for and gave me his email to send him my ideas. Our entire communication was done via email. I sent Ken my ideas and we worked out all the details and colors. Saturday morning I came in to pick up my cake. Ken was very enthusiastic about the cake and it was just what I had asked for. I was charged the price that he quoted me and was on my way. The cake was a HUGE hit at the baby shower, everyone thought it looked great and tasted amazing (chocolate cake). read more

I was nearby for work and stopped in for lunch. Polish dog in a croissant was awesome! I spotted the infamous "Build the wall" cookies and tried one. Fantastic!! Promptly purchased all of the cookies on hand. After reading some of the hate mail regarding this cookie, I'll be there every week to buy them all. Better get to baking more cookies Edmonds Bakery! read more

We had chosen Edmonds bakery through the preferred vendors at the Monte Crisco Ballroom where we got married. We went in for an initial consultation a few months before the wedding and worked with Ken, He was very energetic and listened to what we were wanting. We did a sampling that day and had such a hard time picking because everything tasted so good! What we loved most about the cake was that it was full of flavor but was not overly sweet like most cakes. The cake turned out beautiful, just what we had asked for and our guests loved the cake! I HIGHLY recommend. read more

Stopped here on a bike ride-- great pit stop. With covid, they only have one booth available, staff was very friendly and made sure it was wiped down before I got seated (thanks Rose!). Embarrassingly, I forgot to bring cash but the staff was really gracious about working that out. Tried the champagne cupcake (excellent) and the beef sausage roll (addicting). Will be back. read more

Let me just say to be fair I came here on a Friday towards the end of the day. The selection was not great, and the cakes and pies they had for sale looked like they had seen better days. I did get a pie and it tasted fine, but looked a bit sad. Service was not great. The girl at the counter that helped me didn't know the price of anything and didn't really seemed very motivated to help. Maybe she was new so I'll let it go until I can check it out again. The best part about the Bakery is the creepy decor. All of the walls are covered with cookie jars and they are all staring down at you from the walls and ceiling. I can just imagine a scene from a Stephen King book I once read. It really makes the hair on the back of your neck stand up. I'll be giving them three stars right now until I can come by again earlier in the day. read more

We pre-ordered a lemon cake and it was perfect. It was beautifully presented, with a yellow rose on the top made of lemon peel--much prettier than a standard frosting flower! The lemon filling the perfect combination of sweet and tart, and the cake itself had a beautiful moist texture. Our only caveat was that even though it looks like you can order online, you can't. Just call them and tell them what you're looking for. They'll walk you through the options and you'll get a wonderful cake. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. I gave The bakery a ridiculous time frame to create a Minnie Mouse cake. It was done before expected and is nothing short of magnificent. They were accessible , the store front was a walk through time and love how eclectic and whimsical it is. The food and pastries are delicious. I have yet to find something that I do not love. Ken and his crew are friendly and efficient. Stop in, grab some breakfast or lunch. Well worth it. Also, if you need a custom cake. They will make it the talk of the celebration. read more

My husband ordered a birthday cake from here and it was excellent! They don't use a lot of additives in their baking and it really tastes homemade. Also, my kids are hooked on the donuts. I highly recommend the maple bars. read more

So I'm not giving my 4 stars for the usual bakery goods, but instead for the wedding cake that Ken made us. It was reasonably priced, well decorated, but the best part... everyone raved about the taste. So even though he's a bit rough around the edges (and likes to tease), his cakes are damn good. And he'll even make a 1 year anniversary cake for free so you don't have to waste freezer space on your original one. That reminds me... since our one year anniversary is this month, I better get in there and order that cake! read more

My wedding venue, the Monte Cristo Ballroom, lists Edmonds Bakery as one of its preferred cake vendors. We tasted at another place, which was good as well, but preferred the cake at Edmonds Bakery (and we were offered free coffee while we did our tasting, which was a nice touch). It was easy to get everything planned. I was able to send an email of photos I liked as well as share the flavors we wanted, and voila! The only issue was that when the cake arrived and was set up, it started trying to collapse in on itself. It wasn't a major problem, but it freaked out the venue and was a bit of an issue for a few minutes. Luckily, it just stayed lopsided and didn't collapse any further - and it still tasted delicious. Sadly, I didn't actually eat any at the wedding, but I had some a few days later & it was still tasty. Edmonds Bakery gives you a free cake on your one-year anniversary, so I'm looking forward to that! read more

Quality has gone down, not as fresh tasting and the place needs a good cleaning. Last two times the guy helping me seemed put out that I wasted to buy some doughnuts. read more
