Quesadilla special
Kim F.

Cute little cafe. No signage in front. When you walk in you really don't know where to go to be able to get seated. I don't know if it's because of the time we went on Sunday. But everybody was just standing around and no one really knew who to speak to to get seated. Thankfully we didn't wait too long. Once seated are server was very attentive. We both ended up getting one of the specials. I got the quesadilla special and my boyfriend got the Benny special. Both were very good. Even though mine looked plain. It really hit the spot. I would definitely love to try some of their other dishes. We definitely felt like having French toast. But we are trying to be good. Lol. Definitely would be back.

Roast beef brisket sandwich

I love the farmhouse feel of this cute cottage with its beautiful wooden beams on a vaulted ceiling. This place is always packed so expect a full parking lot and wait for a table. The waitresses are very busy as well so it's not easy to get their attention. It's a fairly large menu so we split a shrimp basket and the roast beef brisket sandwich. The shrimp were excellent, just slightly battered and very tasty. The brisket was good but needs a kick of something like a tasty sauce or cheddar cheese. The fries and cole slaw were good too. I'd be willing to go back and try another sandwich.....

Full stack of French Toast.

Been awile since Ive been hear. I always liked the decor of this cafe. And the staff, I was hear on a Thursday morning and barley anyone in hear. Orderd full stack of French Toast and waited awile for it. About 35 min. For a place that was not packed that seem kinda along, and especially with the high price of the food. It be out alittle faster. I can't denie the fact that it is well kept up place. So made the reason for the high priced food and the specials they have its only 2 and they are even on the pricy side. I might come back in the future if around the area but definitely won't be my go 2 spot for breakfast!!

The food and atmosphere are pretty good, but service always takes a long time, much longer than expected for basic breakfast dishes.

Edgewood Cafe has hit a really great niche that you just can't find in the Yardley/Lower Makefield area. Great place for breakfast.

First, please hire people that are genuinely friendly and want to provide good service. Secondly, once they figured out where we would sit, the hostess proceeded to grab two menus from the desk and put two bread plates UNDER HER ARMPIT and took us to the table. I don't know who does the training there, but that is disgusting. After we sat down, I reminded my husband not to touch the bread plates as she had them under her armpit, carrying them to the table. Why is a hostess grabbing bread plates from the hostess desk to place them on the table for diners? Can't they just be on the table when we get there. I don't know what else she was carrying that she felt she had to carry small plates under her armpit, but apparently if a hostess has too many things to carry to lead you to your table, there is a problem. Very odd set up. Disgusting hostess for thinking I would eat bread off a plate that was under her armpit with only a T-shirt on. What is wrong with people? I'm still thinking about it weeks later.

From early conversations with the event manager to the way the entire staff treated me yesterday on-site, Vault's customer service is unmatched. I'd been exchanging emails with Sarah (the event manager) since February to ensure the space was the right fit. Sarah answered all my questions, responded to me in a timely manner, provided ample time for my bridesmaids and I to set up decor and we were permitted to bring our own cake and desserts. The bartender allowed me to Airdrop my custom bridal shower playlist to an iPad that was connected to their surround sound speakers so I could play the music I intended to play. She was attentive, kind and placed purses and miscellaneous items in the back area so it wouldn't be in guest view. She cut the cake for us towards the end of the event. Truly such outstanding service. The event space is located downstairs, completely separate from the main dining area and there is a private restroom. It was a wonderful size for my guest count of 16 people. Everyone in attendance raved about the chicken nachos and the pizza. I personally loved the Wild Mushroom pizza. The food kept getting refilled as the day went on. Each item was labeled and the bar had several menus to look at. This was executed PERFECTLY. I had such a positive experience and would highly recommend Vault Brewing Co. for all your event needs!

They do have seating downstairs but it was full when we got there. Our waitress came quickly(wish I remembered her name) and welcomed us. We told her we were in no rush and wanted to take our time. Both were good but the nachos would have been good with some queso on them. They were a little dry. I special which was the prime rib sandwich and it was very good. Fries were good. My wife and friend both had burgers and said they were delicious. My other friend had the salad and said it was good. The restaurant is in an old building that is really cool. It was very clean. It was fresh and full of good stuff...just the right amount of slopy where you could still pick it up to eat it. Yum. I would get that again. The place is clean and a good size. Additional tables outside. Food...all fresh ingrediants. Impressive. Although, my friend's sandwich had raw bacon on hers...my bacon was crispy and good. I guess it happens sometimes. Ordering is done on computers...like WaWa. My other friend had a hard time ordering...after all, people over 60 kinda missed that modern technology curve. I helped her order. And, where it said "instructions" we put in dry toast and eggs over medium. I suggested she follow up at the counter to make sure it was cooked to her liking. She did! But unfortunately, eggs were fried omelet style and toast had butter. A big FLAW in their system. She just ate it the way it came out but she was very frustrated and annoyed. I really dislike adding a "tip" when "ordering". If service was slow or horrible...do I get to ask for my tip money back? If I don't tip enough will they wipe the floor with my bread? Are they that entitled to a tip in advance?? After all...that is their job!! That's what they signed up for! And still I added a tip but I really don't like adding a tip before I see the kind of service provided. I don't even understand why I needed to give a tip...I ordered, I got my own food and I even got up to get a refill for my water then I cleared my own table! They just did their job of making my sandwich. What exactly am I tipping??? They should have tipped ME!! The computer asks if you are dining in or taking out. 11 of us were dining in. Still everything came out in a take out box. Seemed like a lot of waste. The cafe is located in an office park. I see it being an ideal spot for those working in the area. Grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich or a quick delicious sandwich for lunch. For a group of 11 retired ladies lunch...it didn't work. We like to be waited on and have real dishes. Fun for us to try once. Overall however, it is a huge step up from Panera and more quality food than WaWa. Good place for a quick meal.

My food was perfectly prepared. The fresh pita was so unlike the ones served in most restaurants. These were light, soft & airy & perfect for the lamb gyro I ordered. The lamb was tender & perfectly seasoned. I asked for extra tzatziki sauce when I ordered, but it wasn't on my plate. I asked again when our waitress brought our food, but she disappeared. Nobody was answering the loud phone that kept ringing at the front desk. I finally asked another waitress for the tzatziki, & she came back after a while with a small container of an almost frozen sour cream with dill dip, not a true tzatziki- very disappointing! The final insult was being charged an extra .50 cents for the frozen dip. The service was absent. But my lamb gyro was excellent. I also asked for extra well-done fries with no salt & they were perfect, hot & extremely crispy. I'm sure this was a case of understaffing or something because this restaurant has such a great reputation. Again, the food was perfectly prepared & on point, but our server wasn't having her best day of service.

So glad we have had many great meals here and that Canal Street was such a nice place to have a weekend dinner with friends.

Signage is minimal. The easiest path is to walk around the right end of the building, locate the outdoor patio dining area, and enter through that door. Otherwise, you will be walking down long hallways without assurance you will reach your destination. Obviously, The Weekday Cafe (nice alliteration), is meant primarily for the folk who work in the complex, but if I owned the business, I would want to cast a larger net. This is the third food operation at this location in about as many years, so they have their work cut out for them. Getting the word out beyond this small universe is critical. And, while the attractive shop is diminutive, it is worth discovering. They do a decent breakfast with a limited menu and good coffee. Service is friendly and efficient. My "Early Riser" sausage, egg and cheese on toasted English muffin was solid and cost only $2.95. The java flowed hot and strong. This morning, a few other office workers came in to pick up something to take to their desks, but not enough to make a success. Hopefully, their lunch trade carries them. They do have two other similar locations in Ewing and Hamilton, NJ, that are larger and also require excellent tracking skills to find, but seem to be doing well. As this Weekday Cafe is closest to home, I wish them good luck and smart advertising.
