So I'm distraught after dropping off a vehicle we just purchased from a dealership. Horrible news from our technician about what's wrong with it. The dealership was friendly and accommodating but my stress level is really high. And now I'm driving home from Fremont. At the last second, I exit right before crossing the SM bridge as I have no cash. None. Crap. Plus I have the added bonus of not knowing where I am at and I am on a deadline so I have to get back to the Bay Area. My day so far sucks. I pulled into the nearest area that with any kind of restauranty kind of places in this industrial area hoping for the best. I stop at Subway and ask the non-English speaking lady where the nearest ATM is. She knows nothing. I venture next door to Edgewater Pizza and ask them. I must have looked the hot mess I was feeling because the owner asked me what I needed. I explained I just needed to cross the bridge. He told the girl at the register to give me $5. I protested and asked for an ATM. He refused and insisted. I'm a stubborn Sicilian woman so I demanded pizza with a big fat smile on my face so I could pay with my ATM card. The girl gave me $5. I bought pizza and a drink and added $5 to the total bill. The pizza was awesome. The service impeccable and I was so incredibly grateful to this nice man and his team for their kindness. It would have been easy for them to send me away without a care (like the subway lady) but they didn't. He wanted to help. It's people like this that make the world a better place. I wish I would have hugged him. Thank you so much for helping me out and making my day so much better, with simple act of kindness and some yummy pizza. So I've been waiting for this place to open for WEEKS, and saying that I'm disappointed is an understatement. The wings I got were absolutely terrible. I wouldn't have minded the half an hour wait if they were delicious because I understand that good food is worth it, but these were bone dry and the lack of sauce (which was very bland) did not help at all. I was also disappointed to see that they keep their pizza in a warmer at the front counter. Maybe I'll go back in a couple of weeks when they're a bit more organized and running more efficiently to see if I can find something better. read more

I have ordered several times from this Pizzeria in the last month (they have only been open 4 months). I have to say that the food is delicious and the family who runs it are a joy to converse with and it's good to know such pleasant individuals are crafting your food. I've tried several of the Mediterranean dishes as well as a few of their pizzas. The Chicken Kotto pizza is great if you have the acquired taste for the white sauce. Their combination pizza is an Office favorite already. The wraps they serve are an excellent quick lunch item. One of my favorite items already is their "Sweet Calzone." The mix of banana, fruits, honey and ricotta are a great way to end a meal. I could not be happier with the pleasant service or the great food they provide. I can only hope they continue to keep up this level of performance and stick around! read more

The workers are extremely rude. Take your money elsewhere. The slices are very old looking and don't look appealing in anyway.

I have only tried the Falafel Calzone. I really liked it. I would order it again. It really works! I don't know of any place that has such an offering. The people there were really nice too. I'll be back to try the pizza next time!! read more

Okay, been waiting to try this place and finally went on my lunch break. Didn't buy pizza but bought their chicken pesto sandwich and fries and......pretty fricken good. Their pizza looked amazing and smelt fantastic will probably grab on on Friday after work to bring home. The chicken was spot on perfectly cheesy and not an over baring amount of pesto. I finally tried this place today and was so amazed at how delicious it was! I ordered the falafel wrap and a side of hummus. The falafel was moist with amazing flavor. The combination of the veggies Garlic/cucumber sauce was on point. Could not have been happier. I am going to come back and try the pizza next. Jan. 2018 update: I have to update this review as the new owners seemed to upgrade their food from the original owners. Really good Gourmet Veggie and Chicken Pesto pizza. Wife and sis-n-law were pleasantly surprised! The Mango/Avocado/Spinach Salad was a hit too. Super fresh ingredients (except for the tomato which is out of season). I'm currently staying in Hayward for a week because of work , and I was starving so decided to stop by here and I sure dig the place. It's nice and clean not loud at all they have beer great choices to add on top of that the pizza was really good and they seem to have many more things on the menu but didn't get to explore much. Employees are friendly and nice so that was good as well. I would definitely come back and I would also recommend this place to everyone! The food is great, staff friendly, and premises clean. Interestingly, I haven't had their pizza. I got shwerma there, and it was just like I was back in Bahrain. My girlfriend and I have gone back several times, and every time we're there the food is great and I'm really glad that we went. The prices are decent, and you get a lot of food. Seriously, we can get one plate and have enough to split for a full meal each. The only thing that's a slight negative for me, is that it's in a slightly-hard-to-get-to shopping center. I'm glad to see that another option is available in this business park but my first experience with the joint was not one I would like to remember. I'm all for waiting for fresh food but do not want to spend almost all of my lunch waiting for a burger to cook. Then to receive a burger that is dry, on the wrong bun, super sloppy, over seasoned with so much ketchup that it was just sweet. Who puts a round burger on a almost rectangular sourdough roll that is 2x bigger than the burger. They just killed the beef. I've had veggie burgers that were more moist. I'm hoping that this was an area of weakness and not the trend with the place. I'll try them again but maybe go for the kebabs this time read more

With this mediterranean fusion style pizza I wasn't expecting to be blown away since I don't care for this style of pizza, but because of the review's I thought to give it a try. Amazing food. I have been there twice so far and first time was for pizza and second time a pesto chicken sandwich. The food is well prepared and you can taste they are using quality stuff in there. Ordered a beef kabob plate here. Beef portion was on point and tasted great. The salad was underwhelming in taste (not enough ingredients and tangy-ness) and quantity. Rice portion (no spice..) and pita bread (3 little pieces) were skimpy too. The tahini sauce was so bland that it ruined the meal. I'm used to having green chutney with my meat, not tahini sauce. I like it sour. If the tahini sauce tasted good, I wouldn't have minded. Great meat, but everything else sucked... didn't feel like I got my money's worth. Before I picked up my meal, I saw that 2/4 people at a table did not finish a HUGE portion of their food (calzone and shawarma plate) before leaving. Now I know why. This place has a wide selection to their menu. I've tasted their pizza, calzone, pasta and salad. All have great flavor and are ready in a good amount of time. My favorite is their Avocado-Mango salad. I love that they use spinach and they use a whole avocado and mango. They do not cheat you on the quantity. I'm not local but I do travel here often for work. Once I get to my hotel I don't like leaving I've order edgewAter pizza twice now and they are great! Great pizza and salad. Since that's all I've tried! I highly recommend the avocado mango salad even tho there is not much to the salad it is so fresh and refreshing. The pizza is so delicious. I order today and they were running late the worker called me and threw in a few soda for waiting extra time! That was so nice and many places wouldn't do that! The staff was friendly. The food was okay. The rice had too much of a cinnamon flavor for my liking. The women's restroom was out of order so I had to use the men's restroom. There was a handwritten sign on the wall that said, "do not put toilet paper in the toilet". So, Im assuming they want people to wipe and throw it in the garbage? That's disgusting and a sanitary issue. If your plumbing is an issue, fix it. Its a restaurant and sanitation is key. read more

This was our go to pizza place we have ordered from them several times. Good returning customers. Unfortunately the service is not so good there are times we call and call and call and no one answers. We order delivery all the time however the last time I ordered the gentleman stated there was too much traffic and couldn't deliver in my area mind you im probably 10 minutes from the shop. His reason was bc it was past 5 and the driver won't go there. How unfortunate. I hope these are not the owners bc this is no way to run a business and will lose a lot of customers. How can you time what time you deliver. Or you make it convenient for yourselves. I've told my family and friends about this already and they will also not be ordering from them anymore. Some advice: get better customer service and if you do deliver don't tell your customers that you can't go to where they live bc of traffic. read more
