    Chicken and waffles.

Everything about the hotel this is inside of is wonderful... but this place. Blech. We opted to have breakfast onsite due to a long day of driving. We opted for the avocado Benedict and a side of fruit. The Benedict just looked sad. The tomato was kind of green, the avocado was over ripened and the hollandaise looked sketchy. It had a weird shine to it and it looked like it was made of chemical and play doh and not real ingredients. I took a few bites of one of the halves and stopped eating. I wasn't going to risk a stomachache with a 2+ hour drive ahead of me. The fruit cup was filled with fruit that wasn't ripe. I did however eat the potatoes that came with the omelet. Those had a nice crunch to them and tasted great! Do yourself a favor and do not eat here. The convenience of the restaurant itself is the ONLY thing this place has going for it.

Great place to sit and relax while pampered by the wait staff. Lots of healthy menu choice, drinks, great view at very reasonable price. Just park your car across the street at the convention center, walk under and you will be treated to hidden gem. During summer months, lots of pretty flowers, umbrella shades and.. not to miss watching giant trouts swim in the lake while enjoying your food.

This isn't a 5-star venue, but not terrible either. The location is excellent, the service was good (friendly, if slightly slow), and the food was decent. I ordered the Ruben which was toasted perfectly. The meat was tender and just enough of the 1000 island sauce. The sweet potato fries were OK but a little soggy. Fish tacos were beautifully plated, but the tortilla was way too thick. Felt like eating dry pita bread. Portion size was just enough and the three separate sauces were nice. Those who ordered Caesar salads were a bit underwhelmed. Not much chicken and croutons seemed a little soggy. I did like the chips and queso, but the cheese sauce tasted suspiciously like the Tostito's queso dip sold in the grocery store. But all in all, for a beautiful view on the lake in the summer, neither the food nor the service was poor enough to ruin the experience. Decent all around. Would be more like a 2.5, but with the location we're bumping it up to 3.

I disagree completely with other reviewers. My experience here was completely positive. Our server Nancy was polite, hospitable, warm, informative and after talking with us even went to the effort of bringing us a local paper to give us an idea of what activities we could participate in this weekend. As a matter of fact, she was such a kind gem that I wish I could take Nancy with us to be our server everywhere. Food was flavorful, eggs slightly overbooked, but didn't ruin the dish. I ordered the huevos rancheros, as pictured (a thick layer of beans were under the corn tortilla). We sat by the window with a great view, and actually were the only people here at 11:35am... So, obviously we got her full attention... But, we left happy and would certainly return.

I tried their bbq burger and it was good. Personally, the bacon in the burger was too hard for me. The sweet potato fries were good though. The brownie dessert was so thick that I wanted some milk afterwards.

We sat outside by the water for breakfast and the view was so lovely and peaceful. The service was friendly and fast and the food was good. Salmon lox bagel was perfect and Breakfast burrito was good. It was the perfect way to finish our long weekend before heading home.

The banana dulche con leche gelato is worth every penny!

I have to give the Beautiful, lakeside convenience cafe five stars just because of the banana dulche con leche gelato. It's that good. Try it!

The All American & Fried Steak

Went here for breakfast before heading to the slopes. The service was great and so was the food. The prices are reasonable and portions are big for the price. I'd recommend anyone to go here for breakfast/lunch. The fried steak was amazing and had delicious sausage gravy on top. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon and potatoes were also delicious. I'll definitely be back before the end of my vacation.

    Badly prepared fruit cup.

The current rating of barely 3.5 stars certainly didn't look promising and yet after browsing the…read morephotos posted by the previous diners, I got a conviction that this place might be more than the mediocre rating. I thus proceeded my way to the store to try it out. And I didn't regret a bit. It was a slow high noon lunchtime for this quaint shop. When I stepped in there was only one person inside (and he soon left) so all of a sudden I had the whole place to myself! The lady upfront warmly received me with a nice smile. She let me take my time after I had said "I think I will need a minute." At this time, I was already impressed. Not only the kind welcoming greeting by the lady, the showcase to display all the baked goods to the adorable interior to the store merchandise to the selection of the gelato to the little refrigerator to hold prepackaged goods, this store was definitely way more than 3.5 stars. As I was browsing, the two salads in the mini (clear) refrigerator caught my attention so I inquired about them. Both the Chickpea and Roma Pasta Salads were only $6. I was like "Yup, I am getting them!" I definitely needed one (sweet) bakery item so I went with the Bread Pudding with Almond Cream Cheese. This place is not much of a tea place however. I thought I was going to get an iced tea or something but whereas they do have tea lattes they don't make simple teas (hot or cold) is what I heard from the lady. No worries on that. I hence went with a hot Americano. This ended up being the right choice as I would need something a bit stronger than a simple tea so I would be able to stay awake on the road to get back to Denver after the strenuous runs at Keystone resort. She did ask me if I wanted my bread pudding be warmed up to which I said yes. She then put everything in a brown bags and carefully placed a little container of half and half on top of everything which she warmed me about if tipped off it might spill a bit so she said to be careful. I certainly wasn't expecting this kind of above-and-beyond-ness; service here thus is top-notch. She saw me off with the same warm smile as I walked away from it. As soon as I back to my car, I started my little lunchtime. And I tell you, EVERYTHING i got today was more than satisfactory. Both salads were exceptionally made (I especially liked the Chickpea one.) The Bread Pudding had a nice texture with the perfect sweetness. And it was a good portion as well. My Americano was nice and steamy. And the side half and half she gave me was more than enough. This experience was way more than I had expected in so many different ways. So in conclusion, True Blue is very much under-appreciated. Hence, by writing this review, I am spreading the love I have for this store to the entire state of Colorado. People, go here if you are in Silverthorne/Dillon/Keystone area; this is a gem!

I tried an iced S'mores latte and my partner ordered a Hazelnut Crème Carmel latte. Both were flavorful and balanced. They have a large flavored latte menu, and also sugar free vanilla, hazelnut, and carmel syrup. Alternative milk is offered for $1 more. Our barista, Kat, was super friendly and offered food recommendations. The inside is nice with lots of windows, making the cafe bright. There's also a dog-friendly outdoor patio with ample seating. Free WiFi is offered, making this an ideal place to work on a laptop. Some tables are marked as "screen free" with an idea to use the table to socialize or read a book. In addition to coffee, they have gelato, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast burritos, and a long list of lunch sandwiches. They are open until 7pm weekdays and 8pm Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. This is a great place to come for breakfast, grab a pastry, meet up with friends, or hang on a patio. I'll definitely be back!

It's new as of the '13/'14 season and they serve coffee, hot chocolate, and two different food items: mini donuts, and "mountain waffles". I lost a race with a buddy and had to buy. I ordered a dozen mini donuts and 1 mountain waffle. A dozen mini donuts is $5.30 and a mountain waffle is also $5.30. I was notified that despite what the photo on the front of the cart looked like, the mountain waffle came plain and it would be another $1 for the depicted chocolate drizzle. Fine. I paid my $13 and change and took my bag of mini donuts and mountain waffle to one of the nearby benches. The mini donuts aren't that special and taste something like a larger apple jacks? Doughy onion rings? Miniature half baked donuts? Anyways, not really worth the $5. The mountain waffle though is egregious. It's tiny. I mean maybe 3-4 bites? Looking a photo of the said waffle with a fork for scale, the fork looks massive. Also half baked. Meh. Even for ski resort prices, this place is a rip off and you're better off spending your money elsewhere on premise.
