When the wife said, "I'm thinking about getting those Thanksgiving cookies...," I understood my assignment. I went to Edgar's to get the prescribed number of festive cookies. The ladies in the shop were very nice and helpful. At first they thought they might be out of pumpkins for the day, but someone quickly pointed towards 10 more trays of cookies standing at the ready. The cookies themselves were good, though I admit I prefer the turkeys mostly because they didn't have the extra sugar on the edge, but it did make them 'prettier' according to those who know such things. I imagine I'll be back for lost of holiday-themed cookies in the future, and I may even use it as an excuse for lunch there, too.

My first time at this location was on 12/30/23. We were greeted with smiles upon entering the bakery. This location is more on the smaller side so it's quite cozy inside. Cupcakes were buy 3 get 1 free. Selections made were red velvet, Italian cream , lemon and strawberry. We also had a chocolate marble pound cake slice. Really enjoyed these yummy treats on a late Saturday afternoon. The staff is really nice here and very helpful. The young lady , Taylor who assisted us did a really good job filling our orders! Ample parking is available and outdoor patio and seating is an option.

    Poor excuse for a sandwich

Ordered a Cuban it was just pitiful. Small amount of meat with basically no taste. New location.

I have been looking for breakfast pastries and decided to see what Edgar's Bakery had. They had four pastries and they were all very generic: cinnamon/orange rolls, chocolate, strawberry, and I am not sure about the other. Where are the croissants, Kouign-amann, or brioche pastries? They had a few loaves of unsweetened bread (rye, sourdough) but no pumpernickel for toast. Their buttercream is really good, but Publix has a better variety of pastries and breads. The cinnamon bread I purchased was rather dry. The store was clean. The lady who helped me was very friendly and helpful, but there was another older lady who was being very rude to the other workers.

The service was great! We ordered breakfast. The person I spoke with on the phone was very helpful.

First time ordering from Edgar's was quite disappointed. The strawberry cake my family has bought has been great the couple times I've tasted it, so I got one for my birthday dinner last month while I was in town. I ordered a round cake and 12 cupcakes with the order design. I ordered the cake online weeks before my birthday. Since it was my first online order with them, I contacted the next day to confirm. The agent said my order was fine, but we double-checked everything. A 10" round pink ombre rosette strawberry cake was all I wanted. I then ordered another dozen cupcakes on the same call and agreed that using the cake's ombre colors would be beautiful and possible. On my birthday, my friend and I picked it up and opened a solid rosette cake and a dozen ombre cupcakes, including the ladies upfront. The strange thing is that the order notes and receipt attached to the cake clearly stated that the rosette design was added but not the ombre color. No one could correct it in time for my birthday dinner while we were at the store. Disappointed, I tried to make things work for my birthday and guests. The ladies gave me Brett's, the "manager", number. I contacted him but he said he was out of the office and to give my info to Ashley at the store, which I did. First and final time I spoke to him. I told her everything and I guess he went to investigate. She contacted me back several times that day, but I got the impression that she was trying to find every excuse to blame me and not the baker or staff for the mistake that could have been avoided by paying attention to the notes. She even said someone should have called me a few days earlier to confirm. Since then, no follow-up contact, email, or apology and it made me feel unappreciated as a customer. My bank is handling this dispute. The strawberry cake was nice but not what I wanted. I would never trust them with a custom cake for an important event, but they are okay for simple cakes. I would not return or recommend them.

Placed an online order for a strawberry cake 2 weeks prior to the date of an event. On the day I arrived to pick it up, initially they were unable to find my order and the gentleman almost made me feel like he thought I was lying about the cake. Did not enjoy that feeling. Finally they found my order (it had been filed under another date or something) and they quickly got my cake ready. I had asked for a special inscription and I guess everyone was gone home for the day, so the gentleman wrote it out for me and it just looked terrible. I was really disappointed in that. 4 stars because the cake was delish, as always ‍

Spicy Eggacado Sandwich with extremely little avocado

Stick to their baked goods, because YUCK!! Their breakfast sandwiches are bland and disgusting. We ordered the Spicy Eggacado Sandwich, Pimento Cheese Biscuit, and a cinnamon bun. Their pimento cheese is one of the worst tasting pimentos I've ever had in my entire life. Their Spicy Eggacado Sandwich had bland eggs, with barely any avocados in the sandwich, and it isn't spicy at all. If you find Sriracha spicy, then you will find this sandwich spicy. Sriracha to me is like ketchup, so it wasn't spicy to me. The bread on the  Spicy Eggacado Sandwich was so weak and fell apart rapidly, making it impossible to eat with your hands. Both sandwiches were incredibly messy and difficult topick up and eat.  It does look like they specialize in baked goods, because they have an overwhelming variety of baked goods. I wanted to try everything, but we only came here for breakfast. I will say that their cinnamon bun was the only good thing we had here today. Even their coffee was bad.

Disappointed! Was here Saturday and today and still no Challah bread! I guess they don't bake bread daily.

While they are known for their strawberry cake, I have nothing but compliments for all of their sugary treats.

Many guests asked where I had the cookies and PF baked because they were so pretty and delicious. Mary from Louise's provided me excellent service in arranging my order and for the morning of the event for us to pick up our order. I love that I could talk with Mary and meet with her in person, on the phone, and by text. Thank you Louise's!

I, we provided ALL decor visible on this cake sans the "crafted" bottle out of icing they charged me $55 for on a 2-tier 8"/6" top only to be told they couldn't craft it for this 2 tiered cake. So, we scraped last minute the top tier. Does it look as if it couldn't have been on a 2-tier considering the bottle is NOT over 21/2" tall?!?! And, where is the rice krispy?!?! I bit into it to find ICING!!!! (AGAIN - see pictures.) I was told to have the 2 tiered quote for $185 with bottle (sans tax), the bottle wouldn't work. I would have to have some custom bottle cookie on top. God forbid considering what you visually see I ended up receiving. So, to have my custom bottle like pictures I provided, I'd have to have the 8" solo. Okay...fine. Yet, to write my daughter's name on this pathetic icing fondant covered bottle, I was to pay just shy of original quote. And, TO ADD insult to injury, I WAS blamed for such. Like, REALLY?!?! Well, if they'd delivered upon what I had to RE-discuss/address because of their ineptness on innumerable conversations, this may have been fine. But, AGAIN, this IS NOT! So, I scraped the top tier. Question, consumer- do you think an 8" cake, with EXTRA layer, is worth $165 ($180 w/ tip?!?!?!)? How STUPID and regretful I am I tipped, prior to cake receipt. (On a sidebar, the red velvet, our daughter's favorite, was decent. But, not worth the $300 my decorations and this cake cost.) ! "Caveat Emptor!", friends. And, unless you desire hassle upon hassle and to be COMPLETELY stressed out and disappointed beginning 10 days out from whatever reason you're purchasing a custom cake, GO ANYWHERE but here!!! As, fortunately, there are INNUMERABLE bakeries (like White Oaks Cookie Co I found to custom make (18) specialty cookies for our daughters surprise party her friends are putting on for her that are EXCELLENT and 1/2 of the $150 plus tax these bozos we're going to charge me.) My, how I CONTINUE to miss my beloved Dreamcakes! Lesson learned. PRAY I save you from such lesson!!! You've been warned...
