Lovely experience. Ambiance felt very cozy and the restaurant seemed like a well oiled machine with waiters pitching in where needed to attend to patrons. The decor with fairy lights is very well put together. Food was delicious!

Date night party of two at their new location on Coastal glad to see they kept the ambiance, Dustin our server was great as was the food. I'd forgo the sourdough but the 3 cheese board well worth it the steaks were great as was the dessert

We love Eden! Their grilled Caesar is one of my favorite foods in the world. I think about it all the time. Everything else that we have tried has been great as well. The service is always friendly but does tend to be on the slower side. Just don't come in a rush and you will have a wonderful experience.

This was our first restaurant we tried on our first trip to Rehoboth, and we made an excellent choice! Set back on a quieter Baltimore Ave, this is an adorable building in a row of adorable houses turned shops and restaurants. Inside, the ambiance is magical. There is a light blue gauze draped from the ceiling, mixed with fairy lights, and with a gorgeous low lit chandelier in the middle of the downstairs. Upstairs you can sit inside or along the balcony, which is where we sat and watched the sky turn from blue to orange to pink to purple throughout dinner! To start, we ordered two cocktails: Cool as a Cucumber and a Cherry Old Fashioned. Both were great and generous pours, they lasted us until we got our main dishes. We also ordered the charcuterie and added meat, and it was hands down the best charcuterie board we've ever had. It was so filling, I was worried about eating dinner. I picked the Humboldt Fog, the Double Cream Brie, and the P'Tit Basque cheeses and loved them all. We ordered a half bottle of the Chablis and it was the perfect complement to our meal. My entree was the Broken Arrow Ranch Antelope Tenderloin that came with a blueberry glaze. The chef recommended medium rare, of course, and though I felt it came out very rare, it was absolutely delicious. My fiancée ordered the Furikake Crusted Rockfish with vermicelli noodles and loved how flavorful but light the sauce and dish was. To top off an amazing meal, I had a glass of port and my fiancée had an Irish coffee. It was the perfect way to end a delicious night!

We went to Eden last night and it was a great place for a date night! We already want to go again when we go to the beach next year. I got the filet and my boyfriend got the short rib. I wish there was more sauce that came with the filet because it was a little bland but overall it was good! My boyfriend loved his short rib! We got the toasted sourdough bread with ricotta and honey and it was our favorite thing! We also got the apple gallette and the creme brulee for dessert which were delicious! The ambiance was beautiful and the service was great!

Eden is one of the restaurants we go to alot when we visit Rehoboth Beach. The bar area is pretty and its in a way cozy as it is in its own corner. The interior of Eden is nice too and welcoming. I have ate in the outdoor area too a few times. The staff is welcoming and nice. Food wise I usually get the steak or the chicken. Both are wonderful options. They also make wonderful cocktails. My go to is French 75.

We started with a burrata salad. It had the usual mix of mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, onions, and a nice vinaigrette. Then they added cucamelon, which put their own twist on this classic combination. One entrée was pan roasted chicken breast. It was perfectly cooked and moist. But what really stood out was a side of bucatini pasta, red pepper, in a charred lemon, parmesan vinaigrette. Our other entrée was ahi tuna. It had sticky rice and a seaweed salad. Unfortunately, our rare tuna was medium. One star deduction from an otherwise excellent meal.

I've been to Eden many years ago and was glad that it was still around. It's located just a block from the hustle and bustle of Rehobeths Main Street. Sometimes on weekends parking can be a pain but this time I didn't have any problems. Eden is a cute little restaurant but it was way darker than I remembered. There were curtains hung everywhere with an attempt to be mystical. Just didn't look very updated from the last time I dropped in. The food was pretty good though! I started with the Chili Shrimp appetizer which was the perfect amount of spicy. It was served with rice and honestly was big enough to be a main dish. The Tilefish was very different but was cooked well. The steak was a decent size and dessert was simple yet delicious. The server didn't give many recommendations and I wish there were dinner specials to taste outside of the menu but overall it was a good dinner.

Love going to the beach and having a spot that I can always count on for great food, service and ambiance! Sit at the bar, or in a booth or upstairs for some fresh sea air! Can you taste it through the pictures? I can. Try this place out. Kevin will certainly take care of you!

Great dinner on busy Sat night. Used Open Table to grab a reservation outside. Seated once arrived. White linens.choice of tap, still or sparkling water. Great cocktail choices, nice variety of wines, by the bottle and by the glass. Wifey chose Stoneburner Sauvignon Blanc and I a sazerac. We had a cheese board and our wonderful waitress made the suggestions. Came with walnuts, dried apricots, honey, jam and was delicious and great accompaniments. I ordered the antelope and wifey the scallops. Mine had a great Demi glacé that brought out the sweetness of the meat. It was cooked to perfection. The grilled scallops were big and meaty and paired with some risotto. Special shout out to our waitress who was cheerful, accommodating (I don't take ice in my sazerac), and so helpful making sure we had a great meal.

In town for the weekend and met two other couples there for dinner. The place is perfect for that- nice room, great noise level, good service, and the drinks are an A+! We had a variety of items. For the starters, the wedge salad was a hit but too big for one person. Two wedges on each plate. Would make a better share. The panzanella salad was a good size for one and the two that did order it were part of the clean plate club. Two of us had the ceviche and it was mild at best. Could use a last minute squeeze of lime for freshness and maybe some heat by way of peppers. Entrees were a hit. The antelope (yes they have antelope) was absolutely loved by me and a little spicy for another of use. The spice is from the peri peri sauce and they nailed it in my opinion. The table favorite was the scallops and rightly so! For dessert we did a couple of shares for the table. They were good but the best was the espresso martini night cap!

Beach town bliss. This was quite the weekend in Dewey. The whole weekend I thought I had liver failure. Drinking was hell. Pooping solid? What's that? My liver had become fatty. I was bedridden. I would have nightmarish, fevered dreams and wake up in a cold sweat. And those were just my afternoon naps. Somehow I had embodied the grandpa from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, just laying there for what seemed like eternity. But each night, I somehow found the strength to arise and punish my liver some more. I was designated the official restaurant picker on this particular Saturday night. Why? Because I was the only one sober enough to. The rest of the squad had been day drinking since 10 AM. I could still make out written type and words on printed booklets found strewn across our hotel room floor. Having recently rewatched The Imitation Game, I felt like Alan Turing, able to decipher this enigmatic code we call the English language and able to translate it to my starving, unsatiated, crapulent compatriots. Eden immediately stuck out to me, because their ad exuded class. No campy font. Not like Arial or even Cambria. And god forbid Comic Sans. I've seen so many local restaurants using Comic Sans in their ads. That's the biggest fashion faux pas you can make when it comes to advertising your restaurant. An unforgivable style mistake. Second worst font? You guessed it - Times New Roman. Remember when that was the default for like, every document in the 90s? We should all be grateful Calibri came along. The meal started modestly with an order of clams casino. Honestly, one of my all-time favorite appetizers since I discovered them a little over 10 years ago. Eden's rendition was perfectly fine as is, but be sure to utilize the accompanying lemon slice and splash each clam with lemony zest. It absolutely brightens the flavor. If you want a little something to nibble on without ruining your appetite, the three cheese board is going to hit the spot. You get a nice mix of cheeses from near and far, such as the Vermont based Jasper Farms Cave Aged Cheddar, California based Humboldt Fog goat cheese, and P'tit Basque, made with pasteurized sheep's milk and aged 70 days. Each cheese has its own unique flavor and texture profile that can be combined with the various included accoutrements such as truffled honey, housemade jam, and dried fruits and nuts. Really loved my scallops. Big ol' sea scallops, super tender and packed full of flavor, all served atop a bed of creamy spring pea risotto. Make sure you get a bit of everything in each bite, and your taste buds will be very pleased. For the former meat eaters who have since transitioned into a vegetarian lifestyle, you can't go wrong with the paella, which incorporates Beyond sausage. It looks and smells like the real deal and may be close enough to the real thing to fool your meat-starved pleasure center. Oh, and the best part is? Many of the other ingredients in this dish - like the tomatoes and bell pepper - are locally sourced from nearby Fifer Farm in Camden-Wyoming. Finally, if you truly want to indulge, the Veal Osso Buco awaits. A generous portion of veal shank, cross-cut through the bone, braised with vegetables in wine and broth. Within the bone lies the defining characteristic of this dish - rich and creamy bone marrow. Eden infuses some Asian flair as well, serving this alongside jasmine rice, baby bok choy, drizzled with Korean BBQ sauce. It should be noted that in addition to the great food, Eden also serves up thirst-quenching cocktails perfect after a hot day on the beach. One such cocktail is The Ruby, consisting of ruby red infused vodka, grapefruit juice, cranberry juice, and Grand Marnier. To top it off, the staff was superb and exceedingly accommodating. Attentiveness paired with friendliness is certainly the culture here. They happily took pictures of our group at our request and stayed on top of everything from beginning to end. All in all, couldn't have asked for a better experience at Eden.

When we got there, several people were waiting for tables but we were able to walk on by since we had the res. When we sat down we learned it was restaurant week! At first we thought it would be too much food - but the menu sounded too good so our arms were twisted haha. I got the lobster toast - this was my fave thing I ate at the Blue Hen. My bf got the carpaccio (also delish). For our main course I got the branzino. It was topped w fennel and carrot and it tasted so good w the fish. My bf got the fried chicken and he enjoyed it. We both loved our desserts. I got the strawberry - yum!! And he got the blueberry bread pudding. I had several tastes of his and I wasn't sure which dessert I liked more. Def need to come back!! I can't remember which drinks we had but I do remember that we liked them. I had only been to the Blue Hen for happy hour previously but now I know I need to be back soon!

After many a weekend spent and many a restaurant tried we welcomed new eats at The Blue Hen. This menu is intriguing- small, tight but inventive- we were so excited to eat here! Was wonderful in having a table ready when we arrived for at-will, no reserve seating at about 7pm. Quiet corner. Promptly greeted by our server. She was gracious, so nice, and helpful our whole dining time. We ordered readily, in Mom's overwhelming hunger, lolol. Ordered the Lobster Toast and the Yellow Tomato Gazpacho, as starters. Amazingly accommodating on our order of this gorgeous gazpacho. We were given 2 bowls to split this tomato beauty. A few spoons of smooth & sweet, acidic, flavorful, gripping. Could have ordered more! The Lobster Toast- Accompanied by a concoction of radish, sesame, bitter-sweet....stunning bites in this salad. Unfamiliar but pronounced in the combination. Well done. The lobster- Absent. Wished for an open faced variety. Or at least a dish that advocates for lobster. Charge more. Bigger brioche. Pronounce those beautiful lobster bites in presentation. The lobster as served, was not the star. Ok, a moment for cocktails though- Whoa. Killer kill. The Church Girl Martini. Blessed be in evil, haha This Girl was too tasty in being that strong. So good in flavor, unbeknownst combos. A definite Watch Yourself and watch out for!! Entrees.....well when ordering was told the Sea Bream was out- disappointed on that. The entree menu is small, so should keep available. And when we entered the restaurant it was busier after we sat....so why out of a primary fish already?? So decided ahead- Mom had the Burger and I had the Crab Cake Sandwich. The burger- smashed, but still big patties. A perfect medium. Good overall. The bacon jam was an ask on the side. The bacons were really spicy lardons and were delicious. My crab cake sandwich. Hmmm. You are a sandwich. For the pricing, it's not there. Ate the Lumps, but the rest of the sandwich should I say was in the Dumps? Nothing to be said of standout. Would recommend putting this crab cake as a stand alone entree with accompaniment. Forget the bun. Overall food gets a 3.75. Drinks, environment and service a 4. The Blue Hen is not Spent. But also is not the Top Chicken.

I stayed for 3 nights. The timing of this trip ended up being good for three reasons: 1. Three weeks earlier I had surgery for cancer on Tuesday, 8/15/23. I was not aloud to go in pool, beach, or bathtub for exactly 3 weeks. My community pool's last day for the season was Labor Day Monday, 9/4/23 (2 weeks 6 days after my surgery), which kind of sucked because that kissed going to my community pool the rest of the season or any other pool parties. About a week earlier, my friend convinced me to go on the trip saying there was availability in the house during the Monday to Friday part. Ultimately, I decided to take off work on that Tuesday and worked from the house on Wednesday, but I had a great time on the trip that I decided to extend to Thursday doing the same working at the house. And I was able to fully enjoy the beach on Tuesday, 9/5 exactly 3 weeks later with no issues. As well as the other 2 days to lesser extent as I had work too. 2. DC/Maryland was experiencing an intense September heat wave with temperatures in the upper 90's; so it was great timing to escape to the beach where temps there were still pretty hot as high as low 90's. 3. Most importantly, I met my girlfriend of now 2 years on this trip! We were friends for several months, but then dating started in February 2024. Experience with Woody's: If I hadn't extended my trip into Thursday, I wouldn't have tried Woody's. I was tired of leftovers after Tuesday & Wednesday night; I decided to go to Woody's for dinner. I called in the order, walked over didn't have to wait long, and took back. Friends looked a little jealous. I got the crab cake sandwich with fries. It was an amazing crab cake with great fries. It certainly wasn't a cheap dinner, but it was worth it for a good amount of crab cake with a high quality.
