This restaurant is a must try! We went for dinner last night and we loved everything about it. The space is inviting with a vibrant ambiance, modern and fresh. Staff was attentive and skilled about the menu. We especially enjoyed the brussel sprouts and the beet salad in small plates, both with a wonderful combination of flavor and fresh bites. The crab bucatini was mouthwatering and would be a repeat choice. We were so pleased to find Eden, close to our neighborhood. Lots of free parking. We will definitely be back! A+ read more

I Appreciate Your Feedback David, To Offer Additional Context Our Server And The GM That Was There That Night Also Realized How Long The Service Was Taking And Even Came Up To Our Table To Apologize And Stated That Multiple Food Orders Were Placed At The Same Time And The Kitchen Was Backed Up So Our Party's One Late Arrival Did Not Have Anything To Do With Why Our Meals Were Served So Late, Thank You Though. read more

My wife and I had been meaning to go to Eden for a while and it finally fit into our Saturday for a late lunch. We planned to come back the following day for dinner but childcare fell through; we'll be back for dinner soon enough though! During our visit the service was excellent. She had a veggie sandwich and side salad and was very happy with both. I had the breakfast sandwich and the bun was perfect and the breakfast potatoes, well, I could have eaten a whole plate of just those. They were perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. So. Good. As a bonus, while headed out, we ran into Peter who told us all about their green house! read more

tried their 4 course restaurant week menu for $60! they all come as their regular portions so it's a lot of food and we had to pack leftovers the faves had to be the dan dan brussel sprouts, both pasta options, the striped bass, and the citrus meringue as they were the most flavorful and more unique choices. it was really great value and it was an enjoyable experience. they have parking right out front. they constantly filled up water, and changed our plates and utensils for each course so we could share all the courses. read more

My drinks were both not good, one I couldn't stomach. Service was slow, apps were decent. Good sweet potato gnocchi and steak, no one ever came around to ask if the food was ok. My food was cold and took forever to recook. Overall not impressed but I like the concept just subpar execution and service. read more

This review is really about service. I attended a family wedding shower here in the spring of 2025. First off, I'm not at all familiar with the area since I live out of state, but I did appreciate that there was a parking lot across the street from the venue. Parking was free. In fact, it's pretty close to Wrigley Field and I could actually hear chairs and applause as I love the event. As far as the shower went, I was highly impressed with the staff. They were there they were attentive, they were accommodating, and there were many staff available to both serve and assist. As far as the pricing I have no idea to be honest. The food, was upscale trendy and not to everyone's liking being as it was a mixed crowd. The elder family members didn't really understand the menu too much I think. The younger 20 something year olds thought it was wonderful. I didn't find that there was a lot of flavor in some of the items and we did have mostly breakfast items and some brunch type things. I do believe that the hosts for the shower were able to take the remainder of the uneaten items home. It was a lovely lovely venue I can say that much. Sorry I can't be more help with the pricing or the exact menu but I would definitely go back if I was ever in the area again read more

Eden is making it to my top ten favorite restaurants of 2023. We've driven past it over a dozen times and decided to celebrate my birthday there after extensive online research. Made a reservation and glad we did this place was fully packed on a Friday night and hour into dinner. Interior is awesome, very cute and posh. The food and drinks are spectacular. The half chicken could've been a whole chicken it was so much meat. Salmon was cooked to perfection and melted in our mouth, never knew salmon could be cooked that way. The cocktails were beautiful and very strong. Roasted potatoes and carrots were scrumptious. My onlyyyy complaint is that there wasn't a little birthday treat. A lot of high end restaurants like this will do a free glass of champagne or a small little dessert. Outside of that expectation, it was all around a great time and we'll be coming back. read more

Eden is a beautiful space. It's open with loads of windows, though a little loud due to the acoustics. We were seated right away for our reservation, and our server was great. My friend got the mushroom stracci and I got the roasted squash on harissa sauce. Both were amazing! The flavors in the squash were so amazing-- the harissa was so flavorful, the cucumber salad so fresh, and combinations so unique. It made me want to come back every month to find out what's on the menu. They only fell short on dessert. The creme brulee tart was fine. Sadly, it was not custard-y, and served with a tart apple sorbet that, while delicious, didn't really complement the tart. I'd probably skip dessert altogether next time. Looking forward to my next meal there! read more

What a lovely establishment. I came for dinner on a Thursday night after long day at technology conference. Lucky for me the dinner was a treat by the tech company. This review is based on private service in the rear room. Our party was less than 30. We had two tables and a set 4-course menu. The cocktail and wine menu was expansive here. I ordered a Cosmo and a French 75. Both were great. To accompany my meal, I also had a delightful red wine (Zin). For food we had a bread assortment which was divine. That pretzel bread with goat cheese butter was to dream for. For our second course there was a great burnt watermelon feta tomato salad....yummy. Additionally, there was a a delicious side dish served with main dish. I opted for the flat iron steak which paired nicely with the roasted carrots. I ate all my steak, it was so tender. The 4th course was also great. We had an option for a stone fruit (peaches) dessert and flourless chocolate cake. I picked the flourless cake and it was good but the stone fruit dessert was much better. All-in-all a very great dinner. Ambiance and service were prime here. Our server was so great. I wish I knew his name as he was funny and kept the drinks flowing. Cherry on top of the food it that there is a free parking lot across the street. I will be back. read more

I was looking for a place with vegan food and this came up as a suggestion. It seemed to me like some new place, although it is not. The ambience is really nice, the place is decorated in a simple but modern way, and according to the pictures from the summer period, I would say that it is even more beautiful when the weather is warmer. As for the food, I had the Eden salad with salmon, and the white bean soup. Both were delicious! I don't remember the name of the cocktail because I don't drink them often, but here is the photo. The service is great, fast, excellent - no complaints. All in all, I really liked the place, as well as the clientele that comes there. I would recommend it to everyone. read more

Wanted to like this place but I would not go back... Appetizers: They were okay??? The tuna was good outside of the incredibly stale, chewy chips. The mushrooms were edible but that's all--incredibly bland. The tater tots were the best part Main course: the bucatini....a tiny bit of crab, a tiny bit of butter and underdone pasta. Literally no flavor at all and no effort was made here. The NY strip--over cooked, rubber, Salty, garbage. The waiter asked about highlights and if we wanted anything to go and we said no. That should have clued him in to at least say something to the manager. It pains me because the people were nice and the service was fine, but again will not be back. read more

One of the few requests from my parents when they're in town is to dine at Eden. This is such a great spot for consistently good food, ranging from 'familiar' American to slightly adventurous. It also seems to be a good spot for families (I've seen people with little ones here often). They have a lovely patio but also the inside is gorgeous, and I really love their focus on fresh, in season foods! Having an on-site greenhouse is pretty neat. Okay, so I've mostly gone for brunch and I either get their pancakes (my moms favorite) or the mushroom omelette. Both are fantastic and service is always so friendly. Also, their baristas know what's up. 5/5 I love this place. read more

The restaurant was nothing special. Looked nice, over priced, rude ass host and staff looked upset with life, but the bartender was cool. Burger was SKATA even though it was on Condé Nast's best burgers in Chicago list, no brunch drink special. 2 out of 10 stars. read more

Quite honestly, the dessert stole the show. The sourdough crème brûlée was the best crème brûlée I've had since chef Heather's Sable in 2012. Our waiter, Cain, was fantastic. Very genuine and fun to interact with. While I did not care for the 24 karat cocktail, Cain steered me to the 'go getter' which was delicious. The beat salad appetizer and barramundi were both good, but I thought the hen of the woods mushroom was exceptional. The space is really modern and quite quiet given the size of the dining room. They brought a birthday macaroon which was also a pleasant surprise (and pretty tasty)...but I'm still smiling about that creme brûlée. read more

Eden is a gorgeous and delicious brunch location. I came here for a friend's birthday brunch and we were seated in a lovely private room with really cool ambiance. I ordered classic items which included an iced caramel latte and the traditional breakfast which had fluffy scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, and bread. The potatoes were such a hit - I had a lot leftover and they tasted great the next morning as well. We also ordered a couple pastries to share for the table including the monkey bread, highly recommend doing that with a group so you can split and taste all their fresh breakfast options. read more

This is my favorite restaurant in Chicago. It's so cozy, has free parking and impeccable service. I love that they have their own green house and purchase everything else locally and organic. So many vegan options on the menu. Standout was definitely the wood Wood-Grilled Asparagus (vegan) so many complex amazing flavors. Also loved that the chef made a lions mane for me that was fantastic. Will be back read more

I wanted to have a nice meal with some friends shortly before having a baby and stumbled upon Eden when looking for a new place to try out. It's a nice spot with a good brunch menu and we really enjoyed our time here. I made a reservation for us but we may not have needed it because we came when they opened, and it was pretty quiet for a while. We were there for a couple hours and it wasn't too busy during our time there. They have a very large patio, which I would have liked to use, but currently Chicago is host to smog and smoke from Canadian wildfires so we chose the dining room. The dining room and bar is really nice, and their cocktails look interest too. We ordered the maple cinnamon roll, which was okay but nothing special. I couldn't really taste anything different about it I'd probably prefer a cinnamon roll warm. I had the quinoa pancakes, which I'd not heard of before... they were pretty good. They were a little more dense than regular pancakes. The lemon and blueberry are a classic combination; the lemon mascarpone in particular was yummy; subtly flavored, bright, and fresh. Others got the French toast, which as I understand it was delicious (and beautifully plated!), and the others got the omelet. Everyone was really pleased with their meals. read more

We got a last minute reservation which was good. I was very happy with most of the food , we got the bread, potatoes and mushroom polenta for appetizers. Everything was ok till tasted a grain of salt. I asked for warm water with lemon instead of regular water , I was served scalding hot water in a glass not a cup. Wasn't. Great start to the meal. Main course we shared the chicken and gnocchi both were okay. The dessert was a big disappointment, the tart was more like a quiche . We were celebrating a work anniversary and they gave the dessert on the house which was very nice. I will certainly come back but I expect flawless service and perfect food from such a wonderful establishment!! read more

My first time here and we were here for the brunch. This place was so well lit and all the decor was top notch. The service was very quick and to the point. The menu is pretty small and I believe they change it up often. The food was good but the menu for brunch was pretty small in my opinion. I'd definitely like to come again for dinner and see how much different it is. read more

Was here for an early brunch with girlfriends. We had a reservation and were seated in a timely manner. Seating was comfortable, and the restaurant itself felt clean and stylish with a calming zen-like quality, and there's plenty of free street parking in front of and near the restaurant which is a huge plus. They also had a cute outdoor patio that was nicely decorated. Service was outstanding and everything was delicious. I tried the omelette with mushrooms, gruyere, and arugula, a side of kale salad, plus the drip coffee, vanilla sprinkle cake donut, and house potatoes. The omelette was cooked perfectly, the house potatoes were seasoned well and had a great crispy texture, the salad was fresh, and the donut decadent. Prices were on the average to higher side, but reasonable as the ingredients seemed to be fresh and of high quality. The only thing we were confused about was why the drip coffee was so pricey ($8 for a plain drip coffee); not sure what that was about. But overall, my friends and I had a great experience and look forward to returning. read more

This restaurant is beautifully decorated and I'm giving four stars mostly for the atmosphere. I had the mushroom omelette which was very salty. It had salt crystals added on top of the omelette which I tried to take off, but it was still very salty and I couldn't eat it. The fruit was amazing . My daughters ordered the Eden salad and cashew salad which they liked and they looked good. Service could have been better but I'm guessing our server Sarah had too many tables so wasn't very attentive. read more

Eden is hidden gem that gives you locally sourced options in loft style but refined experience. Everything ordered was well portioned and delicious. They offer excellent cocktails and mocktails. We started with savory hummus. As the veggie lover, I had the sweet potato gnocchi. The hubby had the wood fire grilled octopus, which he raved about. We closed the evening shopping their local creative wall when we selected some locally made candles and spa aromatherapy offerings. We came for Chicago restaurant week and a birthday dinner which was a delightful coincidence. I started strong with the hibiscus hot toddy which was perfect for a chilly evening in an outfit more for fashion than function. The Brussels sprouts knocked it out of the park and I truly generally hate them so that was super impressive and the winter salad was also a great upgrade for salad which I rarely get excited about. The bass had really great flavors but is a little spicy if you're a wimp about heat (I am) so just a heads up on that. We finished it up with some yuzu lemon meringue pie which had a really interesting construction and presentation in addition to the flavors and then a turtle brownie with bananas and ice cream and candied pecans. Overall a great meal, good service, would recommend. read more

Such a cute place! I stopped in on a Sunday for lunch with some girlfriends, and the reservations were already packed a week prior! We were happy to snag a 2pm reservation though. The venue itself is so cute! Outside seating, and there must be a private room because it seems like there was a wedding shower happening next door. To drink, I had a smoothie and the girls had frozen rose and aperol spritz's. We would have loved a non-frozen aperol drink, but it was still delicious! To eat, everyone loved the monkey bread but I did not try. I ordered the skinny turkey club which was delicious but a little hard to eat! The fries were INCREDIBLE though... so so good! Almost double fried and seasoned, super crispy.. I could be buried in these fries. My friends ordered burgers as well and those looked INSANELY good! We got cookies to go as well, which were delicious! Overall I'd love to come back for dinner service, and maybe to sit outside :) read more

It's definitely off the beaten path. But once found, it really is like Eden. First thought, must be a new place since it's so clean. But it's not. Friendly people greet you, seating for me was immediate. I ordered the Tomato Salad. Nothing on the plate was out of place. Such incredible flavors and everything played off of each other. Eden is one of those rare gems that you almost don't believe still exist. Tucked away in a spot where you wouldn't expect to find a restaurant, it feels like a hidden oasis--and lives up to the name in every way. I walked in just five minutes before the kitchen closed (I felt terrible about the timing), but instead of rushing me out, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Their kindness and professionalism set the tone for what turned out to be an exceptional dining experience. The space itself is beautifully decorated--minimalist, fresh, and airy. It's the kind of atmosphere that instantly makes you feel calm and comfortable. And the food? Absolutely scrumptious. Every dish tasted like it had been crafted with care, using high-quality, fresh ingredients. It was hearty, flavorful, and exactly what I didn't know I needed. Everything I ordered hit the spot in the best way possible. I can't wait to come back--this place is a total standout in the Chicago dining scene. Highly, highly recommend. read more

Eden has a really beautiful setting and it literally feels like this place was transported from the West Loop. You really won't find a similar ambiance like this in the area. Service was pretty consistent throughout the meal. There are a variety of cocktails. I opted for the one that closely resembled an express lol martini. It was pretty tasty. I would definitely order again. The food was alright. I was pretty excited for the breakfast burrito. I'm not sure if they were trying something new, but they added a lot of purple potatoes to the breakfast burrito I had. I'm not sure if this was to stretch the serving out but it definitely gave the burrito a really gritty earthy taste as opposed to a savory breakfast food item. It really overwhelmed the bacon and avocado that I had ordered at an additional charge. The purple potato definitely wasn't listed in the ingredients on the menu. My friend ending up agreeing to split their sandwich with me because of the taste. They had the same feedback and definitely agreed that the taste wasn't great, and maybe they should list it on the menu. On another note, the grilled chicken sandwich they shared with me was great. I would recommend it. It's definitely worth checking out this place again. Would just hope the meals are as indicated on the menu. read more
