I had just a good old fashion burger and it was one of the best I have ever had I like it better then the Habbit!

First impressions can give you either great vibes or oh this is not for me. Absolutely loved how the staff was very friendly and kind, quick to serve us and willing to explain what the menu has to offer. The food was absolutely delicious, worth the stop for one of our first food establishments to try in Lompoc!! Can't wait what else the city has to offer but definitely will be heading to this establishment again, will recommend to anyone wanting a good meal to eat at reasonable prices!!! read more

over the course of two- three months- i'm not sure if i have just gotten unlucky 4 times in a row or if Eddie's just serves their to-go orders the old fries but this is the 4th time in a row i'm paying $3.50 for dried out, chewy fries. it wouldn't be a big deal were it not for the price point. it seems like i'm getting the leftover fries every time i order online, and for the third time my burger is wrong and both of the sauces that come with it are absent...at this point the patty doesnt even taste fresh. i don't want to be the jerk who doesn't tip the workers when i'm checking out online so i think i just wont come here anymore. Ultimately small town restaurants rely on their small town patrons to stay in business...after asking around many people it turns out have tried to reach out about these issues at the lompoc location- hopefully you will see these complaints from the last year and take notice, if you don't care- we don't care if your business thrives. for the price you charge for one mediocre and often wrong burger.... read more

Give yourself time. Maybe a two hour lunch break. Chronically slow to get food, but they've surprised me twice with food within 20 min of ordering. Burgers are great and my wife enjoys the chicken pesto sandwich and salads. Fries are good when eating in. Decent shakes and beers are available by the bottle. This last time I called in an order to try to make up for the usual slow service. Order was placed at 1057. Was told ready in 10-15 min. Arrived and paid at about 15 min. Proceeded to wait. And wait. Finally handed my order at 1137. Forty minutes for a call ahead order! I kept coming back because I do enjoy their burgers and I only go when I have the time. I have been coming to Eddie's for years, but this is my first review. I can not stress enough to those reading reviews that Eddie's has the freshest food and ingredients. I have never been disappointed here. Burgers are juicy and flavorful, salads are fresh and have so many wonderful additions, but my favorite item has to be the Mexi-dog. Yes, they make something so simple as a hot dog taste AMAZING. They toast the bun, grill the dog and put fresh pico-de-gallo, BACON, avocado and a chipotle mayo. It's heavenly. I absolutely love Eddie's Grill!!!! I usually have the Hot Cadillac burger and my wife has the Santa Barbara burger. The fry seasoning salt is soooooooooo good! The onion rings are also awesome! The ambiance is country and cars, with country music and sports playing on the TV's. Eddie's has taken over as the best burger joint in town HANDS DOWN!!! I was in town for work and ran across this place on yelp. I'm so glad I did! I walked in and encountered a line about 10 people long but I appreciated the menus placed by the front door. By the time I decided what I wanted, I was already at the register (which only took about 5 minutes). I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and fries and it was all delicious! The fries were fresh and piping hot, the sandwich was juicy and delicious. I also appreciated the servers offering ranch at the table rather than having me get up to ask for one. The only downside? Fabulous fish tacos, and I went in with LOW expectations. Fries were good, milkshake was good, burger was fine (but not worth it for someone who only "splurges" on meat every once in a while). BUT that fish taco plate was really flavorful, the fish was of good quality, and it cost something like eight bucks. If this were closer to home, I'd go for the fish tacos and milkshakes all the time. And the people working were super nice, too. This is good place to eat. They have a diverse menu with something for everyone. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, and sweet potato fries!. It's consistently good. I've had a turkey burger ( awesome ) a wrap ( delicious ) and a chicken sandwich ( yummy ). I'm picky about where I go to eat and Eddies has not disappointed me, yet. If you know what a great burger is supposed to taste like, then you'll know these are the best burgers you can find in Lompoc! I've never tasted onion rings better than the ones here they are perfectly made and delicious! I've also tasted a few sandwiches they are absolutely delicious. Everything has been on point. The only thing I'd have to say negatively is that when I have ordered to-go they usually have taken long to give me my food, hope they work on getting things moving faster! read more

Great Fish Tacos. My husband had the Tritip sandwich which was really good and big enough to satisfy his appetite. Onion rings are also delicious! They even have vegetarian options and a nice variety of salads. read more

Before going here my family asked around town for the best burger joint. Everyone we asked told us about Eddie's so our hopes were high, and Eddie's delivered on those hopes. The burgers were great! They were cooked just the way we asked, and we were given good suggestions by the staff. My favorite suggestion was to add egg to my burger. The atmosphere was wonderful! There were several sports games in and the owner changed one to hockey so we could watch it while we enjoyed our meals. I had a great time with my avocado burger with egg and my wife enjoyed her veggie burger. Our son had the chicken tenders and he ate them all which is rare for him. Overall the burgers were great and the atmosphere was awesome. When I eat here more and try out other burgers I thing my review will go up to five. I just haven't tried enough to 100% recommend this to everyone. read more

Not sure what everyone is raving about. Ordered onion rings, chili cheese fries (with onion) and the bacon Blu burger. Have had better from Wendy's. The rings were obviously frozen, the fries were topped with a slice of american cheese and sans onions, the burger came without the Blu cheese. The only reason for the 3 stars was the cashier- she was nice, apologetic, and offered to change the food for something else: and the coke machine is awesome! 2.5 stars would be more accurate. read more

Pretty decent burgers. I think they would be GREATLY benefitted by some extra seasoning on the burgers while cooking them and upgrading the lettuce type. The first time i went and i had the bleu and mushroom burger it was amazing. Cooked perfectly and so delicious. And fries so delicious and they even had the seasoning for the fries on the tables very cool. Second time i order the gilled chicken sandwhich and it was the best grilled sandwhich i have ever had. The seaao ing on it was perfection and the cook was perfect. Wasnt dry or tough. And avocados were fresh and perfect. So I have made two visits to this establishment. I ordered the Santa Barbara burger, and it was fantastic. A well built burger. Very filling and what's best is it has avocado and bacon on the burger. Ordered some onion rings, which weren't the best I've ever had but still pretty good. And no better way to complete my meal with a delicious strawberry and banana shake. I left this place very full and satisfied. Customer service was top notch. Very friendly. Atmosphere is fun and great for any occasion. I definitely will be making a return visit. read more
