My sister and I were in town to see a Laker's game and someone at our hotel recommended that we check out the stores on Melrose. Bliss was our first stop and the only place where I found an item I HAD TO HAVE. Bliss carries unique fashionable pieces are very reasonable prices- the owner has a great eye. Cute dresses, nice blazers, nice tops - they have it all! I loved my new blazer so much that I wore it out later that night. We went to a lounge, didn't dance much and definitely didn't do anything outlandish. I literally sat down most of the night (boring, and uncharacterisitic of me, but hey, it happened). Later on, we went to eat and I looked down at my arms and the entire inner seam on both arms had ripped open leaving two huge gaping holes. I had no idea how it happened. The next day, I returned to Bliss, and without any hassle at all, the owner exchanged my ripped blazer for a new one. No questions asked. I am aware that I just happened to have impeccable timing and the owner was there when I went back, but I can't express how grateful I was. The sales associate was also really nice both of the days that I went into the boutique. Bliss, you definitely have my vote. I'll be back in LA in a few weeks and I will definitely be paying you a visit! Thanks, again!

The female owner explained that she couldn't because it was HER store and that she had to work hard going through piles of shit and garbage to get through the clothes. I understand the concept of them having to go through the process of sorting the clothing but what I did not understand was why she looked at me like I was a cockroach for asking and making me feel bad for asking. She mentioned that there are signs saying, " no discounts." Something I did not see until they mentioned it. I looked at her in shock because I didn't expect her to say that she had through go through shit and garbage and she had the nerve to ask me "why are you looking at me?" Mind you, this was my first time in this store.. (I let them know that it was my first time in the store) My question was a simple question requiring a yes or no answer on a $10 stained dress with rips on the sleeve. I, honestly didn't expect that my mention of a discount would go so sour that the man (the other owner) started telling me that his parents are from Mexico (ok, mine are too) and that they used to hand wash clothes( also, mine did too). But what does that have to do with anything? Idk, maybe trying to make me feel bad? I have attempted to get ahold of them by phone, I was successful once and they said they would mail the check they owed me- they never did. I've been most recently trying to get a response on instagram, to which I've received one reply to 4/5 messages. It has been extremely frustrating dealing with this business.
