Black T-shirt with a unicorn had to have it

Shop-Ashiya which right across from Midori matcha is a small shop in Little Tokyo in LA that has some cute ladies and girls clothing and accessories. The shop is not fancy but the owner Kyoko was super helpful and nice. I stepped inside to browse and liked a few things so I bought them. I can never have enough black T-shirts, especially when they're super cute. Also bought some clothing is all linen and all cotton, to wear for the sunny hot weather In LALALAND. Having the 50% off sale was an incentive I couldn't resist and priced just right ;)

This small shop sells women's clothing, bags and scarves and other accessories - both vintage and new. Kiyoko, who is the owner, is always very nice and friendly to all her customers. She also has this adorable pet cat named Sherman who helps her watch over the store. :) Some of the accessories she said she made herself. Today, she had 50% off discount on fashion jewelry. I got this delicate and unique necklace with a ladle and spoon pendant and also a one-of-a-kind handpainted keychain (which she had given me additional 50% off!). Prices are very affordable as well. This place is a hidden gem in Little Tokyo. And by the way, it's located at the Weller Court Shopping Center. Check it out! :)

I LOVE shopping and I saw a cute sweater in the window I had to try on. I was sold! The owner was my favorite part of this place. She was so sweet and open that we ended up talking about food and places to try in Koreatown. Before our convo, she offered me an extra discount on a purse I was looking at. SOLD! Lol! There are some really cute and unique finds here.

When ever My daughter and I decide to do the daddy and me thing in Little Tokyo,it seems like we usually find our selves in this quaint boutique. My daughter likes all the very unique designs that this shop has to offer. As she flips through the dresses and looks through the shirts and blouses, You can find me either petting the two cats that she has in her shop or talking to the owner. The owner is really one of the nicest people I've meet while shopping with my daughter. She is very friendly and helpful, always giving my daughter advise on clothing she could put together as an outfit. The two cats she has (Sherman the cinnamon colored cat and a black & white one whose name escapes me at the moment)come and go as they please. They are very friendly cats and always seem to find their way back after a cruise through the city. Though I have never bought anything here for my self,my daughter loves this place and I have purchased things here for her. They seem to have a nice selection that appeals to just about anyone's taste. If you find your self in the area,I defiantly recommend dropping in here.

After the birthday Izakaya my sister and I decided we needed to work off all that sake and food with some shopping. As we headed towards the Kinokuniya bookstore we noticed a cute little boutique with a few cats hanging around by the door. (Looking back I think the cats are non-paid sales associates as you find one or the other rubbing on your legs as you are perusing the various tops and dresses and somehow their kitty magic works and you are buying clothes. Someone should give them a raise.) You know how it goes, you are just going to make a quick round, not intending to buy anything. Then, somehow, you find yourself walking out with a new t-shirt and half a mind to get back in there and buy a few more. Ashiya makes this a bit easier being that most of their t-shirts are 30-50% off and the ones that aren't on sale aren't even that expensive anyway. Come to find out if you hit their website they are in the same vein as Intuition, having the trend that celebs are wearing but the prices are much much better. I am docking one star because the boutique is small so what you get is quality v. quantity and by and large there is a good amount of quality. But then I noticed they had several touristy California t-shirts (and not the cute vintage kind) and it just seemed like a bit of an inventory cop-out to me.

One of my favorite shops! Every time I visit Little Tokyo I make sure to stop by to say hi to the owner of the shop. She's a sweet lady with amazing fashion sense! She knows so much about what celebrities are wearing or selling. She'll also give her honest opinion if you ask her about how something fits on you. Prices: The clothes are always reasonably priced. There's even a sale-section in the middle of the store. Jewelry, accessories, purses, scarves... you can get them all here! I always leave here buying multiple items because I love everything! I don't buy clothes as much as I used to, but if I do, then it's usually from here since I can get pretty unique pieces. Cats: Mr. Sherman and Boy. So cute! The owner has 2 cats that walk around the store... or are sleeping somewhere. They're super adorable.

Cute clothing store ran by a nice lady. We stop by whenever we're near Weller Court and she seems to rotate in new merchandise regularly.

The quality is unparalleled, but hands down I fell in love with the Vixen shop because of their sweet, lovely shop manager, Lisa. She is so warm and welcoming - has gone above and beyond to help me find the right size and encourage me to try new styles. She is absolutely the sweetest. I'd say I'm going to miss her, BUT I heard they will be opening a new store for their sister brand, La Femme En Noir, that Lisa will also run. Let me just say: she BETTER! To me, she is as iconic to the brand as Micheline herself! These gorgeous clothes will surely be missed, but I'm truly hopeful that the closing of the Vixen brand, will be an expansion of LFEN. It has absolutely been a beautiful experience while it's lasted, and thanks to the incredible workmanship of the Vixen brand, I am confident I will continue to enjoy my amazing frocks for years and years to come. Thank you, Micheline, for making us all feel so gorgeous!

I wear a size 12 and their size 13 in jeans barely covered one of my legs. Because they don't offer cash back, only store credit and some of the items aren't eligible to be returned at all I didn't want to take the risk in online ordering again and having the same problem. *also be advised the store credits do have an expiration date* I knew I was coming to LA so I decided that I would make a trip to the store front to redeem my store credit. The boutique is really cute inside, small, and I didn't have any problem finding street parking. There is a pretty good selection of items if you're between sixes 2-8 but larger than that you'll be a bit limited. I tried on several items and most of them just did not fit my body properly. A lot of the fabrics are thin and sheer, the dresses and skirts I tried on showed my underwear so beware of that also. I found the most success in accessories and jackets. I purchase a jumpsuit that fit me perfectly and it is a size 2X. In no other store have I ever fit into a 2X but I liked it enough to keep. The prices are pretty expensive based on the quality and I did not see any sale section inside of the store. A mini backpack, jumpsuit, duster and pair of no-name sunglasses was over $200. Thankfully my credit was $160 and covered most of that. Staff were helpful and friendly, I would consider the customer service 5 stars but I know I won't shop here again based on the sizing, selection and prices.
