As an adult, I keep track of my appointments and dont want to be infantilized. If you don't confirm an appointment by the time they want, they will cancel your slot and make you an 'anytime appointment'. I understand needing a schedule, but I really dont like threats. Additionally, they just didn't show up for an appointment they pestered me about and when i contacted them at 6pm, i got an 'oopsie' reply from a third party person who said i'd be contacted by the office. That was several months ago so.... All in all I just didn't appreciate how I was treated.

He chose to argue with me claiming that proceeding on to my door from the sign was not trespassing and that they were trained to ignore all signs. I told him to leave and he seemed to walk off. Before I called the company, I decided to check. He was stopped between my car and my boat doing something. I told him to get off my property and he opted to continue arguing with me. I called the listed location in Carrollton and the person answering did not know the names of the door to door folks, but said he would pass the information along to the managers.

I reached out to Rodent Retreat specifically because they are a local veteran-owned business, not a franchise. The whole team was amazing. I was able to schedule an inspection right away, and the gentleman who came explained different options to humanely remove the raccoon and prevent any other critters (including field mice and roof rats) from getting to the house. Based on the services I selected, they came back several times to repair the eaves, seal up possible points of entry on the roof and around the foundation, set rodent traps in the attic and garage, and sanitize the attic. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly friendly and polite, communication was exceptional, and pricing is very reasonable, especially given the high quality of service. They really went above and beyond. I highly recommend Rodent Retreat!

Also, I have to suggest other places to check, spray, ask for a manager to come out, etc to get the issue taken care of. Seems like they are trying to just treat the issue rather than find the source. Now I will say, my case is a tough one - I was experiencing spider bites while I slept. Maybe about 2 bites per week but we could not figure out how or why. There were no signs of spiders/bugs in my property and generally smaller spiders won't bite humans unless they are afraid. Also, I was the only one experiencing this - not the other residents. I assumed the issue was only in my master bedroom. I had the mattress searched for bed bugs by two different companies as I do travel quite a bit and could have accidentally taken one home with me somehow. No sign of bed bugs or any bugs were found for months. This issue started in January and we are now in June basically and it is still not completely resolved. I pay for the quarterly service and they do come out in between if you are experiencing an issue but it takes 3-4 days to get someone to come to my area and its not nights or weekends so this has been tough on my work schedule to get time off. White Knight has been out to my place more than 10x just for this issue. They laid out glue traps and some powder, sprayed the outside of the house, checked the attic, etc and now finally we are seeing the spiders on the glue traps - they must have been hiding very well. I am hoping that the issue may be finally closer to being resolved but it did take a lot of follow up from me. I just hoped for a bit more ownership of the issue to get it taken care of rather than me pressuring and calling all the time. Chris, Bobby and Brian are all very friendly and helpful though.

I rent, so any attic work is ultimately up to my leasing company--but what I really needed was the inside treated. When I asked why the inside wasn't being done, I was told it wasn't necessary because the technician was "so good." Sure enough, bugs started coming inside shortly after. When I called to get follow-up service, I explained (as I had from the start) that any days other than Mondays and Tuesdays don't work for me. Still, they scheduled me on a Wednesday weeks out. By the time my appointment came, the bug problem had gotten worse. Yesterday, I got a confirmation text for today's (October 6) appointment between 12-2pm. This morning, without notice or explanation, my appointment was moved to October 15--over a week later. When I called, the representative couldn't even see my original appointment for today. I've voiced multiple times that I'm not satisfied with the service and I feel like I was rushed into a plan I didn't ask for. I wanted a one-time treatment, not a recurring plan, and now I understand why they push people so fast. The website advertises a satisfaction guarantee, but so far that has not been honored. Overall, my experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and not worth the money.
