Econo-Crete first installed the deck around my pool a number of years ago and did a beautiful job. My deck faces west so the summer sun is incredibly rough on it. I have had to have the deck resealed a number of times since it was first installed and every single time Econo-Crete brings it back looking absolutely brand new. Second time, they had written my phone number down wrong and left cancellation message on wrong number. Also told me they had a $3,000 minimum but were willing to look at a small repair job I had. We needed cool deck for our patio and pool so I received 3 quotes. Econo-Crete was the middle quote. I went with them because I really thought Diego was extremely knowledgeable and informative. The process took longer than we hoped because of supply shortages and a huge rainstorm here in the desert! Great work done by this company at a reasonable price. Took six days to resurface the coping on my pool and large spa, as the old cement surface was disintegrating because of efflorescence. They repaired all cracks and cement crumbling. Very patient workers, as I changed my mind about colors (Silverado) for the final acrylic surface done in french lace texture. Many layers applied with a one year labor warranty and ten years warranty on the surface flaking up. Beautiful upgrade to dull, gray cement. And they left a quart of touch up paint. Homeowner,dnk anyone,and thus did lots of interviewing of concrete subs. I even changed pattern after I signed contract with nothing but courtesy. Scheduling was more than reasonable. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! I hired them to do my Front walkway and they said they can match color. After waiting 2 months for the job to begin they never called me to confirm, and when they DID show up , the worker says he cant match the COlor and has to be Special Order!! The owner told me they are Experts in doing Color Matching..but noone bothered to show up before the Job was to begin I put aside this entire week for them to do the job. THen when I asked to speak to the Owner, the lady in the Office says Sorry Thats NOT going to Happen! you cant speak to him.. .!! Im LIVID..This company deserves to be out of Business read more

Called Econo-Crete to paint my pool deck and I was very disappointed in their service. They overcharged for the service and when the pool deck faded and began to crack in a few weeks they would not honor their warranty to touch it up. They rushed through the painting and pretty sure they didn't put the sealant on. When I called to inquire about fixing this, they originally told me the problem was recognized and they would absolutely come out to fix it. When I hadn't heard from them I called again and was lied to and told that management said "the water had caused the fading". However, the fading was equally distributed around the pool and was apparent had nothing to do with the water, not to mention it's a pool deck, it's going to get wet and should be sealed! They told me it would be $1,500 to repair their problem and when I offered a portion of the money they never called back and I have not been able to get ahold of them since. Would NOT recommend and very disappointed in their services and their customer service. read more

The owner came to my home the first day of the project, with the crew to make sure all went well. Took over 6 days to complete the very labor intensive work. The out come was excellent. Best price and quality work. Better than the competition for sure. U have to really shop around, find some old school people who care, they are still out there with Econo Crete. Soooo this project may have been the worst ever from Econo Crete's perspective and I wouldn't blame them if they have me on a wall of shame. We were referred by Bella Blue Water Pools and hired them for a pool deck cleaning, resurfacing and painting. The Owner, Claude, sent his guys out 4 times to put a total of 10 color samples down (over a 3 week timeframe) and none of the colors blended with the color of the house. I was almost in tears in frustration because none of the Davis Colors from the chart/options they provided worked. I ended up having to have our colorist come out and he said the only and easiest solution would be to do a percentage of the original house color. He is a GENIUS! We sampled 20, 40, 60, 80 and 90% of the original house paint formula and ended up going with 60% and it is PERFECT. I wish someone from Econo Crete had suggested this-I could have saved myself time and tears and Econo Crete could have been done and rid of this crazy client a lot sooner. I'm giving them 5 stars because Alex, Eduardo and Claude were unbelievably patient and the workers who put the 101 samples down and ultimately painted the entire deck for us were total professionals, very considerate and nice guys. It took us a long time to get there but we got there and I'm very happy with the end result. read more

I originally had an issue with the concrete Econocrete had poured cracking and separating when it was less than 2 years old. The owner, Linda, reinspected the slabs and offered up what I feel was a good compromise. They tore out the bad slabs and poured new and then resurfaced the entire patio with a new French Lace coating at a greatly reduced price. It came out beautiful. I am very happy with the work and their pricing. No regrets. read more

We were not sure if we wanted to have our patio resurfaced or tiled and had estimates from three companies that advertise regularly in the Desert Sun. All of the sales reps were excellent, so our choice came down to the company that gave us the best value. Linda, the sales rep for Econo-Crete was extremely personable and was quick in responding to our many questions. The price for resurfacing our 1973 condo patio (approx. 210 sq. feet) was reasonable, the workmen were thorough, neat, careful and the work was completed on time. They even returned after the job was completed to put the patio furniture back. The hand troweled appearance and the color that Linda helped us to select is very much in-keeping with the mid-century feel of our interior decor. These folks know their business! read more

Econo-Crete was recommended by another pool service company we were working with. We bought this house, knowing we needed to have the cool deck resurfaced but wanted to wait until we also had the needed repairs done to the pool, etc. Diego was prompt and gave us a fair estimate for our project... really nice young man, too! They worked with our pool service company, Bella Blue Water, regarding timing, etc... no problems. Everything looks great, the one issue I would need to offer... I wish they could have matched the "orange peel" surface better to the existing surface. I can appreciate the difficult task but it sure would make the difference of a perfect job. BUT..... the uniform color we chose looks fabulous and I highly recommend Econo-Crete! read more

We had the opportunity to have our large deck resurfaced. After checking online we decided to get bids from 3 companies. We selected Econo-Crete after meeting with Mel Ezell, sales representative, Mel was extremely knowledgeable of the offerings provided by the company and the choices available. The price was competitive. When we contracted with the company, everything was completed according to the promised timeframe. The crews that did the work were careful to cover and protect our property from flying dust. Upon completion, Claude, the owner of Econo-Crete, dropped by to check the work. There was one small issue that was taken care of quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend Econo-Crete. read more

Hello. I am a board member for the Encantamar HOA in Dana Point. We had Econo Crete resurface our pool area a few months ago. They did a beautiful job. The only problem is the area is very slippery. We asked the company to come back and fix the problem. They did and we released the final portion of the money owed. Unfortunately, we found more slippery areas. Being very concerned about liability issues we called again regarding getting the areas fixed. We have called numerous times and Econo Crete, having gotten their money, has never returned our calls. Our HOA is very concerned about liability issues and are now looking for other companies to fix this problem created originally by Econo Crete. Obviously, this adds additional unbudgeted expenses our constituents are not happy about. As a board member, Econo Crete will NEVER be considered for any future projects and I will advise colleagues on HOA boards to not hire them. A company who leaves slippery surfaces with obvious liability issues and does not respond to client concerns is not someone who deserves our future business. read more
