He gave me solutions when other contractors told me to figure out an alternative (e.g. two previous contractors told me to buy a certain type of vanity based on the location of a pipe and John opened the wall and said, "Nope, I can move or reroute the pipe, there isn't any electrical or anything in the way that prevents it"). I have a handful of examples like that, and it made me realize that the others just wanted to do everything the easy way. He also found a potentially catastrophic problem under one of the showers that had previously been missed. On top of that, I really appreciated that he has an eye for little details - paint touch-ups, visual alignment, etc. Highly recommend.

Alvaro's tone, direct communication, and responsiveness, in combination with all the great reviews, made it an easy decision, Then, we met with his designer Marc at our home. We lacked kitchen storage and wanted more, and a coffee bar. We wanted to replace a granite topped breakfront with a wood top. Additionally, we needed a sizable bookcase for our office. Marc's got a great eye and even better ears - instead of choosing a trend or dictating what he thought, he carefully listened to our wants and goal of how we wanted the new elements to compliment, but not necessarily match, the existing decor. He understood our space and really guided us to a terrific design. The process was un-rushed and very collaborative. We went back and forth first with sketches, that then became photo-shopped realizations of the furniture in the room, and ultimately he presented architectural drawings that we then signed off on before construction. This is a family business that prides themselves on the craft of their product. Alvaro, his dad (a true master carpenter) and his brother did the construction and installation. They were thoughtful and as they installed and assembled, some things became apparent that we had not considered. It was all addressed with expertise and professionalism, wrapped in a true desire to make the best possible cabinetry for our home. Once done, their retoucher addressed every shadow of imperfection on site. Their finisher addressed the walls and outlets that were damaged by the removal of the granite and the changing of some electrical (which they also oversaw). You can not see a shadow of indication that what they created and installed, has not been there all along. I highly recommend Elites - we will be working with them again as well.

They put pads on the floor to avoid any damage when removing my old closet and installing the new one. They cleaned up after themselves. And most of all they did an amazing job. They turned my old mirrored closet that had the wire shelves into a solid closet with shoe rack, rods for hanging clothes, drawers and adjustable shelves. The modern doors are beautiful and very well made. I will use them in the future when I need closet or cabinet upgrades. Joe and his team are the best!

Owner Anthony acknowledged our budget and presented many appealing options. Gustavo Felix and Jesus performed the multi-step process from carpet removal to custom baseboard painting. My husband commented that he was glad we hadn't attempted the project ourselves--since we're consummate DIYers--after watching the complicated process and the obvious ease of their long expertise. I appreciated Gustavo's edification on flooring types and the pros and cons of product choices between flooring contractors and Floor & Decor. Seems there's a big difference in the "Uni Click" and "Easy Click" types of planks that is not addressed in online tutorials. (He advocates the former.) We had originally decided on Floor & Decor products and merely sought installation estimates. Although we ultimately lucked out in meeting with Anthony and finding commensurately-priced products, I suggest more initial pushback to educate first-timers about quality differences and pricing. Big-box stores aren't necessarily the best choice. We are pleased with the new bedroom look and anticipate similar carpet replacement throughout the house down the road.

I'm smart enough to know that I can choose color, countertops, faucets, appliances, etc... but without a fabulous design (in any space) you've got nothing. Every single time in my life I've used a designer has been worth every cent. Patricia and her team are the VERY BEST designers I've ever worked with. I've had several homes and many projects over the years. They did an amazing job for me. I took advantage of her "30 Days of Design" because it sounded like my kind of timeframe and I'm not in Palm Springs for lengthy stays. It was the perfect solution for me. Of course I had some ideas of my own so it was a bit difficult when Patricia's design didn't include anything that I would have done. :-) I showed her layout/design ideas to friends and neighbors and even my contractor and they were amazed. She also had several suggestions regarding tile, counter tops, etc... Some I really loved and others not so much. But that's OK. I ran my ideas by her and absolutely loved her honesty. Sometimes she even loved my ideas!!! The end result is absolutely stunning and so far beyond what I thought it was going to be that it quite simply takes my breath away. I am horrified when I think of what would have happened if I hadn't engaged her firm. She is obviously a true professional who knows what she's doing. We needed to have our floors replaced and went to Distinctive Flooring in Palm Desert. So glad we did. Our experience has been wonderful, and the end result is absolutely lovely. Distinctive Flooring has a very nice selection of materials - and we end up with a beautiful porcelain tile that is perfect for our place, adding a classy, mid-century vibe. Not only do you purchase the material through Distinctive Flooring, but they have very seasoned installers who have worked with them for years. Our salesperson, Lacee, was a tremendous resource, especially because we were gone during the installation. She came by nearly every day to ensure there were no issues with the installation. She sent us pictures throughout the process. We also purchased new baseboard through Distinctive Flooring, and she arranged to have it painted and installed. Contacted CJ about a job and we had a serious deadline before the facility opened. He was communicative, kept me apprised of everything, and his crew worked their butts off to make it happen. Crap happens, as always, but they went out of their way to make sure we were ready to open on time. I've worked with companies that will sort of shrug their shoulders when faced with a challenge, but instead they were honest, upfront, and MADE IT HAPPEN. I don't get to say to my boss "Well, we did our best." He expects things be done on time. Period. Distinctive Flooring are of the same mindset, and MADE IT HAPPEN. We opened on time, and the very next day after completion, CJ showed up to inspect the quality of the work and to make sure everything was done satisfactorily. Just finished a project with George from Distinctive Flooring. Fantastic job from start to finish. Gutted my entire master bedroom and bathroom and it looks like a spa now. Turned out beautiful, and didn't take forever. Had to correspond with George from a distance and he handled everything with ease. We made most decisions over the phone and he handled everything like a pro. If he had any questions he just called and we worked it out over the phone. In fact, I'm looking forward to having them do another project for me in the near future. Cleaned up after the job was done and just can't say enough good things about how this project went. There was a little miscommunication in the beginning but after that was cleared up they did an excellent job. There was water and mold in my shower ceiling and wall from a small leak in the condo above. So they had to do mold remediation, air testing, and replace the entire shower stall, tiling, new drywall, paint, etc. Since this needed to be done I decided to have a walk in shower installed instead of the old tub/shower. I rent this condo so had to be in touch from afar. George was in touch with me throughout the process. All the workers were friendly and professional and I love how it turned out. I will have a lot more work for them in the future. I've already asked for an estimate on new bathroom floors. Also I want to commend Brandon for asking for my feedback. We interviewed four contractors for our major renovation of our home, and when George and Anthony (Vincere Industries) jointly met with us, we knew we had our team. They proved repeatedly that we made the right decision. From the selection of the flooring, to the tile, to the counter tops, and paint, they were right beside us the entire way. The job started on time, and every tradesman was on time, polite, and left only after carefully cleaning up. If something wasn't perfect to our expectations the first time, they made it right. I recently purchased a new condominium in Palm Springs California and I was having some renovations done which included steam cleaning the tile floor and grout. The floor was about 10 years old and the grout was very dirty. I found Distinctive flooring online and they came out gave me a reasonable bid and I had the floors cleaned the following week. OF ALL THE TRADES HIS TEAM WAS THE ONLY ONE TO LEAVE MY HOME BETTER THAN THEY FOUND IT. Sorry to scream on that one but it was that much of a stand out. His guys took care of everything needed to do the job and then cleaned my home and the space they were working on outside without me asking, following up, or needing to do it myself. -Finally.
