Choosing Palozzi Flooring to install vinyl planks in our master bedroom paid off nicely in a timely, affordable endeavor. Owner Anthony acknowledged our budget and presented many appealing options. Gustavo Felix and Jesus performed the multi-step process from carpet removal to custom baseboard painting. My husband commented that he was glad we hadn't attempted the project ourselves--since we're consummate DIYers--after watching the complicated process and the obvious ease of their long expertise. I appreciated Gustavo's edification on flooring types and the pros and cons of product choices between flooring contractors and Floor & Decor. Seems there's a big difference in the "Uni Click" and "Easy Click" types of planks that is not addressed in online tutorials. (He advocates the former.) We had originally decided on Floor & Decor products and merely sought installation estimates. Although we ultimately lucked out in meeting with Anthony and finding commensurately-priced products, I suggest more initial pushback to educate first-timers about quality differences and pricing. Big-box stores aren't necessarily the best choice. We are pleased with the new bedroom look and anticipate similar carpet replacement throughout the house down the road. read more

I've been meaning to post this review for some time to recommend Palozzi Flooring to anyone looking for a great installer for your tile floors. I got in touch with Anthony just before the start of summer to see if his company would install new tile floors in 3 bedrooms at my house in Palm Desert. I knew the work was hard and that it would be brutally hot but Anthony and his team works in the summer and agreed to do my project. They did a wonderful job. Anthony is very easy to work with. Once we agreed on a start date, my worries were over. Anthony took care of everything. I live most of the time in Orange County so wasn't on site at all for the installation. I'd already bought tile but Anthony arranged for it to picked up, installed and then the team put in all new baseboards throughout the house. I couldn't be more pleased with the job that was done. It made my life so easy. The price was good, the work was excellent and there absolutely no issues with the installation. It looks great. After 4 months of renovations and working with multiple different contractors, I can confidently say Palozzi Flooring was my favorite crew to work with! They were super respectful of my house, worked with me to develop finishing details that I would be happy with, and never made me feel like my asks were outrageous. Above it all, their work looks impeccable. All other contractor crews who came in after they laid the floors commented about how good the floor looks. I'm fairly particular, and Anthony was very collaborative when working through all my ideas & asks. First, I didn't want 1/4 round or edge trim everywhere, so he said the crew could lay the flooring tight to the existing cabinets. This made the finish look classy. Second, my house had tile and carpet mixed throughout the house. Anthony recommended areas where the tile needed to be removed and where it could stay, then he made 2 cement ramps from the tile room into the carpeted areas, so that there is a subtle grade transition, which is barely noticeable. This saved time, mess and labor costs. I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

When my husband and I decided it was time to replace the hideous carpeting that came with our house when we purchased it with laminate or LVP flooring, we initially contemplated doing the DIY thing. While initially it seemed doable, we felt we owed it to ourselves to at least get some quotes on having the flooring installed professionally. Of the vendors we reached out to, Anthony, the owner of Palozzi Flooring in Palm Desert was the most responsive. I arranged to stop by his showroom to view his vast selection of flooring options. One of the things I discovered is that the tiny samples of flooring you get at the big box stores makes it next to impossible to visualize what your entire home will look like regaled in that lovely Tahitian Monsoon Myst sample that you fell in love with at the store. Will it be too light or too dark, will the undertones compliment or clash with your wall color and furnishings? Anthony's samples are large format, almost two square feet, and he lets you take them with you to get a better idea of what the flooring will actually look like in your home. Even then, it's still difficult to envision what the final result will be when you scale the sample to the entire home, but you have a lot better idea than you would from a four inch square of LVP. Anthony also introduced us to SCP vinyl plank. I had expressed concern over our heavier furniture leaving pressure marks, something I learned that regular LVP is susceptible to. SCP alleviates any such worries as it is engineered to withstand the weight of heavy furnishings. All while being waterproof. What's not to love? Simply, all of the flooring samples I was shown were amazing in appearance and texture. The wood grain was convincing in pattern, color and tactile definition. After finally making our selection, they were able to start installation within a week. The install crew was on time every day of the four-day process and always cleaned up after themselves at the end of each work day. Our flooring turned out beautifully and hubby and I are over the moon with the results. They also offered to provide a light cleaning after the work was completed. Now that's customer-centric service. Well done, Anthony! From first call to final walkthrough, it was a pleasure to work with Anthony and crew. We have no reservations in recommending Palozzi Flooring. If you're contemplating new flooring, at the very least, put them on your list! read more
