If you want someone who stands behind their job and installation, Do Not hire J W Tile & Stone! The…read morefabricator he hired to cut out our sink opening did not do it correctly. I tried talking to the man & he did not understand one word of English nor did he speak any. No one asked about where we wanted the opening and naturally we assumed it would be centered with the cabinet doors as all of our sinks are. He wanted the sink & he just cut the opening. We had 6-7 people in the house that day & I was tired and I feel that's why I just didn't see the error until he had been paid and gone. I feel he knew that the sink was wrong and that's why he asked me several times if I had signed the invoice. When he left he shook my hand and said if you have any problems, just call me, which we did the same evening. He sent us a text informing us that once the invoice is signed he does not come back! Well legally he may be right but morally he is wrong! We paid him over $10,000 for mostly tile work and I wonder if something does go wrong, he's not going to stand behind that either. We now have had to purchase a new piece of stone and will have to pay another installation charge for his mistake. I hope this will make people think twice before hiring him!
