Right from the start Sal didn't have to "sell" me. During the quote He could see my problems; how the previous installers cut corners, and told me why they did it. Sal fixed it all. I have a brick wall and he cut my quarts stone to fit, some would just grout fill. His quote was itemized and the most reasonable "no gouge" quote. Sal is the kind of professional you wish every contractor was like. Throughout the process, he was friendly, on time, and reliable. He clearly knows his craft inside and out, and he took the time to walk me through all my options - including the pros and cons of prefab vs. slabs. I ended up going with slabs based on his insight, and I'm really glad I did. He was also flexible and easy to work with. I needed help with material pickup, and he was willing to handle that (for a reasonable fee), which took a huge weight off my shoulders. My flooring isn't perfectly even, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was reinforced, level, and solid so the finished product would hold up over time. What really stood out to me was that Sal didn't disappear after he got paid. He checked in and made sure I was truly happy with the final result. Sal also suggested the brand of faucets I should use, ( I completely spaced out about faucets). Once purchased, Sal walked me through the process explaining the ins and outs of installing the quartz. Project description to follow, but in summary: Sal and his team did great work, at a fair price, was flexible in scheduling, communicative throughout the entire process, and demonstrated a genuine desire for me to be happy with the outcome. Project: I had a leftover piece of granite from a kitchen project and wanted to use it for a new bathroom vanity, so I needed to find someone who could cut it to fit, ready it for a faucet install, and to help me make sure that the faucet and sink I wanted to buy was going to work. Sal picked up the granite and got it ready at his shop and was able to send me mock-ups and everything I needed to make sure it was all going to look right and fit together. In the end, his team took out the old vanity and sink and installed the new countertop in good time and even hooked me up with a great contractor for the plumbing work.
