He gave me solutions when other contractors told me to figure out an alternative (e.g. two previous contractors told me to buy a certain type of vanity based on the location of a pipe and John opened the wall and said, "Nope, I can move or reroute the pipe, there isn't any electrical or anything in the way that prevents it"). I have a handful of examples like that, and it made me realize that the others just wanted to do everything the easy way. He also found a potentially catastrophic problem under one of the showers that had previously been missed. On top of that, I really appreciated that he has an eye for little details - paint touch-ups, visual alignment, etc. Highly recommend.

Being a perfectionist I was happy that every one of his crew was as conscientious and concerned with details and completing the job including some specific requests. I opted to have them install cabinets they constructed in their shop which allowed unusual sizes and even a narrow broom closet door which gave my washer/dryer a built in look.
