Octavio and his team at ORD did a great job renovating my very outdated home and bringing it into this century. He was personable, calm and listened to everything I wanted, and whenever questions or unexpected issues came up, he always had smart, thoughtful solutions. Almost every surface was touched, and the finished result is beautiful. I receive so many compliments on it. Thank you ORD. read more

Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, he screwed up with my kitchen hood install. One foto is of my entryway wall which is on the other side of my kitchen. He told me it's usable for now. Why did he tear thru my wall to my entryway? But what's more important is why he didn't tell me what happened?! read more

5-Star Review We were originally planning to sell our home and upgrade to a new one, but after meeting with Octavio we decided to remodel instead -- and we couldn't be happier with that decision. Octavio and his team truly delivered on everything they promised. I want to be honest: living in the home while a remodel is happening is not easy for anyone -- not for the contractor and not for us as homeowners. But through communication, compromise, and patience on both sides, we got it done, and the results were absolutely worth it. Yes, the project took a little longer than expected, but anyone who has done a remodel knows there are always unexpected challenges. What mattered most was that Octavio handled everything with professionalism, transparency, and commitment to quality. Thank you, Octavio, and the entire team, for helping make our vision come to life. You made our home feel brand new again, and we are truly grateful. read more

Five stars is just not enough for ORD Kitchen.!! Highly recommend Octavio and his team. I couldn't be more pleased with my kitchen renovation. From start to finish he made sure all my expectations were met in every single stage of my kitchen redo. His attention to detail was outstanding. Octavio and team were professional, respectful and so understanding. I might of changed my mind about 100 times on some details, and Octavio never hesitated to make last minute changes. Communication with him was seamless , and easy available. Thank you ORD Kitchen!Beyond the beautiful results your integrity and professionalism impressed me the most . read more

I recently completed a full home remodel with ORD, and I could not be happier with the results. Every single room was upgraded -- new flooring throughout, a beautifully redesigned kitchen, a custom bar area, balcony updates, new sliders, a refreshed living room with new front doors, and three fully remodeled bathrooms. Everything turned out absolutely beautiful and elegant. The craftsmanship is excellent, and the entire project was completed in a timely and organized manner. I also appreciated that discounts were provided, which made the process even better. Working with Octavio was truly a pleasure. He is extremely responsive, easy to communicate with, and very professional. He made what could have been a stressful remodel feel smooth and manageable. I'm thrilled with the outcome and look forward to working with Octavio and ORD again for future projects and my next home remodel. Highly recommend! read more

WORST experience with a contractor in my life and I have been an architect outside of California and builder for 20 years. This guy was the kid whose "dog ate his homework" in school. We heard every excuse in the book. He took a 50% depsit from us which apparently is illegal in California. We no longer want him on our property, instead of fixing the problems he insulted our hospitality to him and his workers. He's not a nice person, and he is dishonest besides being a complete hack. A simple Google search will generate an AI response that is devastating. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Any claim that he is "working with us" is untrue. We waited 30 days for him to return to fix the work, and instead of scheduling a date he mocked us. read more

ORD Kitchen & Bath Designs - Contractor mocking our concerns - General Contractors Near Me - Palm Desert, California

I hired ORD awhile back to renovate my master bath & guest bath. The main issues working with them was the dishonesty, no respect for deadlines and client inconvenience. Beware that you'll never know if they're going to show up. TIP:When working with contractors make sure to ask a ton of questions about how they'll get the job done, how long, how many people, what's included and what you plan to purchase yourself so there aren't any excuses. read more

Working with this business did not meet our expectations. It was a rather unpleasant experience due to what we considered an excessively delayed timeline and poor communication. After leaving a detailed Yelp review, I received a text from a number I presume to be the owner of the business stating: "Just saw your defamatory Yelp, you will be hearing from my attorney, every day that passes will cost you $$$$ have a good day" While I represented our experience with this business honestly, I've chosen to remove my original review due to the tone of the text I received. read more

I cannot say enough good things about ORD Kitchen and Bath Designs. From start to finish, they delivered an outstanding experience. They remodeled my entire home and the results are beautiful. Every space feels elevated, cohesive, and thoughtfully finished. The craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded my expectations and it truly feels like a brand new home. What really set them apart was their professionalism. They showed up when they said they would, kept everything on schedule, and completed the project on time and within budget, which is rare in construction. Their team was respectful, clean, and highly skilled, and every part of the job was handled with care and precision. If you want a contractor who is reliable, honest, and delivers high quality work, ORD Kitchen and Bath Remodeling is an easy choice. I would hire them again without hesitation. read more

Absolutely blown away by the work ORD Kitchen & Bath did on our kitchen. The before and after is night and day. What was once a dated, builder-grade space is now a true showpiece that feels custom, modern, and elevated. Before, the kitchen felt dark and ordinary. After the remodel, it's bright, open, and stunning -- from the gorgeous cabinetry and upgraded countertops to the lighting and finishes that completely transformed the entire feel of the home. Every detail was thoughtfully executed, and the craftsmanship truly shows. The ORD team was professional, communicative, and easy to work with from start to finish. They respected timelines, kept things clean, and delivered exactly what they promised -- actually exceeding expectations. If you're on the fence, let this be your sign. The transformation speaks for itself. We couldn't be happier and would 100% recommend ORD Kitchen & Bath to anyone looking to turn their "before" into an unbelievable "after. read more

ORD does great work. I have used ORD for my parents home kitchen and master bath remodel and have referred them to several friends since then. The end product is beautiful -- really beautiful! We had ORD replace our main bathroom cabinets sinks and faucets. What was a 1-2 week job as noted in the contract turned out to be way longer. No complaints on the workmanship but Octavio (the owner) desperately needs a little help in project management. This took way longer than I expected. I suggested to him to keep his customers informed. If there are delays -- OK -- but show the order dates and then corresponding proof of delays . Don't start the demo April 1 and then not install the new cabinets until May 16. Octavio made up for mishaps with discounts and things thrown in -- some of which I was unaware were my costs, which he then covered. He did offer a free cabinet over the toilet and roll-out shelving for the doors under the sinks, plus the cabinet pulls. That was generous. My advice to future customers: YES USE ORD but stipulate deadlines in the contract with consequences for not meeting them. Also ask to be outlined in the contract what are the customers' responsibilities as far as buying parts and their costs. Be prepared to prompt Octavio for updates. He responds very quickly. Octavio said he wanted my bathroom project to show the end-product in order to attain the other bathroom remodels and to do my kitchen, but I cannot be without a kitchen for 2 months. Yes -- an impressive end-product. We love it. I'd love to see what he can do for my kitchen, but in a more timely manner. read more

ZERO STARS -- STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY Octavio will promise you everything, then deliver excuse after excuse. I don't even know where to begin, but here are the facts: 1. It took over a month for him to partially complete the job. Getting him to return and finish what was originally agreed upon was nearly impossible. We had already paid him, and my husband was literally begging him to follow through on his promises. Huge mistake on our part. 2. He demanded a large deposit before the work was completed, which clearly removed any incentive for him to show back up or correct issues. 3. He constantly bragged about his "big projects," making it clear that our job did not matter to him. 4. He insulted my husband via text message -- completely unprofessional. 5. When we reached out asking when he would return to fix the damage he caused, he sent a photo of himself at a bar instead of responding appropriately. 6. Most importantly: terrible craftsmanship. One example -- when his tile installer wasn't available, he convinced us to let him do the tile work himself. He installed visibly chipped tiles. This is basic quality control and completely unacceptable. This project was a nightmare from the very beginning. Poor workmanship, unprofessional behavior, and disrespect toward clients. Save yourself the stress and use literally anyone else. Follow-up response to Octavio- regardless of your response. You are NOT welcome into our home. Your history speaks for itself. You have become a liability to our family and little ones. You fooled us too many times already. Can we say fraudulent practice? Save your niceties for someone else. All lies from you. I hope that you wouldn't charge someone for is talking crap work. Who installs chipped tile and is okay with it? And excepts payment in full?! Is this an absolute joke? UNBELIEVABLE!! Of course you should replace at NO CHARGE. That's basic customer service to fix YOUR mistakes. Like all the other reviews...Ocatavio and his team are unreliable, takes FOREVER TO FINISH a small job, does subpar work. The reviews speak LOUD. I feel horrible for anyone wanting a nice job done to only have to hire another contractor to finish the mistakes you caused. SHAME ON YOU OCTAVIO. read more

The final result looks great! We hired ORD to remodel two bathrooms in our house in Cathedral City. I hired ORD to remodel my kitchen and two bathrooms for my casita. The remodel came out fantastic. We were in a rush to get things done for Coachella festival, and managed to do both bathrooms, complete kitchen, new recessed lighting inside and outside, new French doors, tankless water heater and washer/dryer hookups. It was a lot of work, but ORD got it all finished under 2 months. The owner Octavio is a very cool guy, he is easy to work with and understands very quickly how to achieve the design and style you're going for. He is also very fair with his pricing. The quality of the cabinets, countertops, tile and glass are all top notch and we love the way everything came out. read more

5 stars plus They called us almost immediately after hours and made arrangements to fix and install a new kitchen sink. We couldn't do it because the granite cut out was too small. We were referred to ORD kitchen and bath by our contractor during a full renovation of our Palm Springs condominium. We had a very good experience with Octavio at ORD. His showroom was well designed and presented numerous contemporary options. However, our needs were particular and specific...not readily available in the catalogue. Octavio encouraged us to pursue a custom color and design... which we did. We're very happy with the results. He gave good suggestions and remained responsive throughout the project. We found his prices to be fair and the quality better than most. It took longer than expected. But, in the end, it all worked out well. read more

Octavio did a well job with communicating the ongoing process with the remodel of my new home. As any project, expect bumps in the plan but the work was complete. Octavio remodeled 3 bathrooms for us in the fall of 2022. He was pleasant to work with and reasonably priced. We were and are thrilled with how the bathrooms turned out. Very difficult to work with.. Very poor time management. And numerous problems. Very disrespectful. Would not recommend!!

I wouldn't recommend this contractor to anyone. Remodeled my kitchen. Quoted 8-9 week project completion (before covid). It took 8 months. We made no changes to original request/quote. UNRELIABLE, rarely showed up when promised. Never had accurate info. POOR PLANNING, products & supplies rarely showed up on time. POOR COMMUNICATION, had to contact them many times to get info or answers. QUALITY OF WORK fair to subpar. Still fixing issues on my own, at my cost. Flooring, plumbing, counter top & cabinet issues. He will not reply to calls, emails or texts If I could give no stars I would. DO NOT USE THIS VENDOR! read more

Deciding who will design, work on and complete your home improvement or remodeling project is an important decision. The contractor you hire will manage the project from start to finish. They'll oversee all aspects including time management, budget and safety. They'll also manage subcontractors as needed. In addition to being efficient and doing great work, your contractor needs to be trustworthy and provide fair and reasonable pricing. That's why we choose ORD Construction. We used ORD in 2009 for a condo remodel and just finished a major remodel on our kitchen, 2 bathrooms, flooring, and added a powder room. The house is stunning. The lighting and thoughtful recommendations on materials were exceptional, professional and noteworthy. We couldn't be happier. read more

I was referred to ORD from my friend who had previously used his services. I was looking for a kitchen and home renovation to be completed within a very tight deadline. From the very start of the project when Octavio first came to visit my home, I felt extremely confident in his knowledge and vision for the renovation, and he did not disappoint! Octavio was able to see the big picture and every detail that was needed to lead to a phenomenal renovation. He guided me along the way to picking out the right quartz, backsplash, and flooring. He is extremely dedicated, professional, and passionate, and his work really speaks to this. His team is also extremely professional and hard working.
