Hallie the manager is back from OC, and he saved me a nightmare. He identified my faucet from a picture I text to his cell he gave me, as I lost the paperwork and it is seven years old and dripping. Hallie matched it up in about 5 minutes, and text me back the model number and another picture that matched. At no charge, Hallie is sending me not only the cold cartridge but the hot cartridge's as well, for my plumber to install. These cartridge's if I had to purchase are $80.00 each. Hallie knew there is a good warranty and he had them in the showroom stock in Rancho Mirage. Hallie is the epitome of great customer service, and after 30 years in the industry, I never need to look online again for anything I need to change or add in my home appliances, renovation and lighting. We purchased a dishwasher through the Ferguson Home showroom in Rancho Mirage. The initial sales experience with Gayle was fine. Where things fell apart was after the sale. When I had follow-up questions regarding delivery timing, I left Gayle a voicemail that was never returned. Someone else from Ferguson did eventually call to schedule delivery, which was appreciated. However, the installer Gayle recommended also failed to return calls. When I reached back out to Gayle to ask for an alternate installer recommendation, I again received no response. I don't understand how this level of follow-through is acceptable in a sales role, especially after the purchase has been made. If you're comfortable chasing down answers on your own, you may be fine -- but don't expect proactive or even basic post-sale communication. read more

I have bought a few things at Ferguson for 2 separate bathroom remodels. The prices are full retail, unless you are a contractor. The contractors, in turn, can charge full price against the budgeted amount in your contract. I prefer pricing transparency. If you don't mind paying full price, Furguson might be the place for you. We are in the midst of our second bathroom remodel. I was happy to find the stone bathtub I wanted for $1000 less than what Furguson charges. The merchandise is well displayed and the employees are knowledgeable , but the business model made it clear to me that the contractors are the customers. read more

Don't purchase their Environmental Water Solution tank (EWS). After 6 yrs the tank made a loud sound. Called EWS customer service, no support. If the tank is not working get a new one, and do your own water testing. Really... oh gets worse. To install you have get on your own a 3rd party Plummer. The tank only removes Chlorine. For the cost is a rip off. Had to get a new system. Lasted 6 yrs not 10 yrs per Ferguson and EWS. Went with Select Water Source thru Home Depot. It also Conditions the water and removes other bad toxics. No hard stains on floors, shower doors, sinks, Spa water feels silky on your skin. Alkaline water in your kitchen ( extra filtration to drink water, cooking etc) They will install and do regular water check ups. Excellent Customer Service. read more

When at the showroom, I was looking for a replacement chandelier and Ellen Davenport saw me on the floor and listened to what I wanted and directed me to a beautiful chandelier that I ultimately purchased. I Really appreciated her professional knowledge and friendly demeanor. The chandelier arrived in about a week and she kept me informed on its shipping. She also connected me to an electrician who did a great job installing the chandelier. The attitude is untenable. Clearly they can't be bothered with customers. This is a direct quote from their website. "Appointments are highly encouraged every day. I take this to mean they don't want prospective customers spending $50K or more on a kitchen remodel to "bother" them until you are ready to write a check. They act like they are the only game in town. Fortunately, there are friendlier and more inviting retail options. I ordered a Fisher Paykel single drawer dishwasher on 2/28/25 and paid for the dishwasher and the pre-inspection (by the installer team) and the installation at the time of the order. The pre-inspection was done but the old dishwasher drawer was apparently not measured at that time. We had a plumber replace the angle stop and the hot water valve per instructions from the pre-inspection team. When the installer attempted to install the new unit, it was 2 inches too high. I was then told by the Installation Department manager that the showroom manager would call me so a dishwasher that fit could be quickly ordered. I am on day 2 of attempting to get this mistake rectified. read more

It is awesome that Fergusons does their own appliance delivery, rather than 3rd party (those guys always seem to be in a hurry, and a bit careless.) Miguel and Moses from the Indio warehouse were communicative, took GREAT CARE with the appliances, and super FRIENDLY! I recently went to Ferguson's in Rancho Mirage for help to update my master bathroom. I had been looking for months at other stores and couldn't find what I really wanted. I started working with Suzanne at Furgeson's and she really listened to my preferences and helped me with everything I needed. If I could leave a negative star review, I would. We purchased more than $5,000 worth of fixtures and a new bathtub and have been treated so unprofessionally and disrespectfully by the staff that I wish we had never stepped foot inside their store. Upon our first visit, the lady sitting at her desk just inside the door couldn't be bothered to get up and help us at all, told us to look around for ourselves and when we had a question she gave us wrong information. Finally, Lilly found us and was helpful and completed our order. When the delivery came it was missing multiple pieces. We called, left messages and got the run-around from multiple people in the store before finally getting in touch with a manager who promised to send the missing items via UPS and follow-up with the tracking information. He never followed-up and did not return calls after that. When calling to try to get more info, one of the ladies who answered the phone spoke very disrespectfully to and then hung up on my husband. Then when he called back she said she had confused him with someone else. The items finally arrived via UPS without any updates or follow-through from the staff. There is NO excuse for rude behavior from sales people. If I owned this store I would definitely be thinking about providing some customer service training for the staff. read more

I would give it a half star. Went there on Friday 4/15/22 at 4:30. They close at 5. We were not intending to stay longer than 29 min. At about 4:54 an assistant Ellen came over to "help" us. She ignored me and quite rudely addressed my wife. After 2 min, she said you have to " get out know" I am in party mode already. Her suggestions were not based on any client input, because she did not bother to ask and she was in "party mode". I walked out immediately, my wife got her business card. She said come back tomorrow I will never go back, regardless of the product, the customer service is inexcusable. Perception of social status is not a reason to be rude. read more

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeting by Ellen Davenport, one of their Top Designers. Ellen listened to our needs & wants and spent a long time with us helping us to choose fixtures ranging from kitchen & bathroom sinks, Helios lighted mirrors for our vanity, towel bars, shower head & components & all the extensive hardware that goes into our project. She made fantastic selections (within our budget) & was patient & professional. She truly made this experience pleasant (not always the case when remodeling with your spouse...). What a pathetic experience. I don't think that I have ever experienced worse customer service. I went to the local Ferguson store looking for fixtures to do a total bathroom renovation and was told that I should visit there showroom in Rancho Mirage. It was a 2 hour drive each way. We entered the showroom very big and nice and only two customers in the store. People sitting at desks behind plexiglass shields sitting idle. We were told that we need to make an appointment to talk to a sales person. The next available appointment was the next day. I explained that we just driven two hours and they said "sorry". And too many toilets to count. Had no idea there could be such a selection of toilets. And for tye gourmet chef they have the absolute top line barbecues. Also have a great pizza oven. I am an interior designer and my husband was in search of a replacement bath fan for a remodel I'm doing for clients. He contacted your warehouse in Indio to inquire about the part and NEVER received a call back. When he called again he was summarily advised that you could NOT sell to him even though as a designer I hold a resale license but he was quickly shut down and brushed off. We were attempting to do business locally, keep the business in our town alive and was left with a complete rebuff that was not only stupid on your part but offensive. My opinion of Ferguson, Rancho Mirage, CA went from a five-star experience over the past two decades to now not even wanting to walk into their showroom as we will be starting a primary bathroom remodel soon. First, I should explain that we started a major renovation project on a home we purchased during the pandemic. Knowing the distribution and shortages that had begun, my first stop was Ferguson's in Rancho Mirage. I knew the high-end appliances I wanted to order and was assigned Gayle as my sales agent. She was very enthusiastic and helpful right up to the time I gave her my order and large check. I ordered a 42" Sub Zero refrigerator, Bosch double ovens with hinged doors, two dishwashers, trash compactor, 48" exhaust hood with dual motors, 48" Italian made gas cooktop, built in microwave and a variety of plumbing fixtures. So about 2 weeks into the process thinking everything is ordered and will take several weeks to months to arrive, my expectation was set. After a few weeks, I touched bases with Gayle to get a status check. Well, to my surprise, she could not get dishwashers or the cooktop and directed me to an internet sales site that could probably get them before Ferguson could. Given the situation with the pandemic, I was okay with that and sourced them myself. The appliances started to come in several months later and I asked Gayle if she could hold them until they all came in and make one delivery. She said take them as they come in or another salesperson may take them from the inventory (knowing I had paid in full for them), I thought that was non-Furguson like to even say that. Now fast forward to 1 year, 4 months after appliances were installed. In the first few weeks, the $14K Sub Zero had a board go out, but I must say, Wilshire Refrigeration Service was right on it, very professional repair person and ordered the part (which took several weeks to get, but the refrigerator was useable during this time). At the 16-month mark, the top oven of our Bosch double ovens, went out. The Bosch warranty is 12 months. I called Bosch to see if they could help me with a goodwill repair, since the oven was manufactured during the pandemic and after reading several horror stories online regarding poorly manufactured products or inferior parts being used, I would have thought they would be happy to help. I supplied them with all the requested info (date of purchase, installation date, serial number, pictures) and waited weeks for help, but was told it was too far out of warranty. I then thought I should go to Ferguson's to see if they could work with the Bosch factory rep and help me with this repair. Gayle, I found out, was let go and I then explained everything to Suzanne Longfellow, and she was also very helpful upfront. She said that Bosch did not receive my documentation (even though a Bosch CSR said they had). So, I brought all the documentation to Suzanne, and she said this will be very helpful for the Bosch Rep and will call me in about a week. Well as I have begun to realize the "New Ferguson's" doesn't really care about customer service and I had to contact her. Once I did, she said she couldn't get any help from the Bosch Rep (not really convinced she even tried), and I'll be responsible for the repairs. I was not happy, but asked Susanne to mail my paperwork I had left with her as I wanted it for my records. Guess what, I never received my paperwork as promised. So, after getting two estimates for repair (one from the Bosch authorized service company) both service companies were totally unprofessional, and I wouldn't trust them to fix a toy oven. On my own, I contacted Wilshire Refrigeration that serviced our Sub Zero and they came out, knowing exactly what the issues were (and agreed with me, appliances manufactured during the pandemic have increased problems). He was confident that his repairs would fix the issues and Wilshire would give me a full one-year warranty on all repairs. Now the shocker is the repair bill will cost me over $1200. Mind you, this is to fix an oven that was used maybe a dozen times in those 16 months since we were not occupying the home full time during that period. Given the lack of empathy from Ferguson's, I will go out of my way to tell people to avoid using them and it would take nearly a miracle for me to darken their doors again. It saddens me to say that, but I really want to warn people, there has been a change at Ferguson's in my opinion and avoid them. The bottom-line, Ferguson's does not stand behind the high end products they sell, along with horrible customer service. read more

I have worked with Ferguson often, when I had a home in Florida, Scottsdale, Las Vegas and Palm Springs. I have always liked the people I have worked with and with my purchases. I recently had the pleasure of working with Ellen Davenport in Rancho Mirage. She was so great I am writing a review (the last review I wrote was like 10 years ago). I worked with Ellen in remodeling a bathroom. Ellen was was so knowledgeable about every aspect of the items I wanted, especially a rain shower and hand-held wand shower. She knows many products, and knows them well. Ellen could tell what I was interested in and she made no nonsense, reassuring and tasteful recommendations. One can't help but trust her. She is a professional with sophisticated taste, and she is fun...a true pleasure to work with. read more

I had to order a new subzero to replace an existing one at my parents home in Palm Desert. I don't live in the area and never visited the store but handled everything over the phone with Hallie. Hallie was terrific as I had a complicated situation trying to get the 35 year old existing refrigerator panels that matched the rest of the kitchen cabinetry to work on the new refrigerator and he figured out how to get a retrofit kit and referred me to a fantastic installer. I drove to my parents and met the installer and everything went so smoothly. Thanks to Hallie he made a potentially difficult removal and install easy and painless. I'm remodeling my house and have needed several appliances and plumbing accessories, etc. It's been a very overwhelming and frustrating process; choosing things and then having them not available for weeks or months or being discontinued! then choosing an alternate and having it not work for one reason or another. Two months ago I went to Ferguson to look for a gas cook top. I met with Hallie Hays, Showroom Manager. He was super knowledgeable regarding specifications of the various available cook tops with sizes and features. Hallie helped me narrow my selection down to 2 choices Wolf and Miele. I called Hallie from my home and he walked me through taking measurements to ensure that the new cook top would properly fit with the stone slabs in place. On a Friday morning I placed an order for a Wolf cook top. The cook top was delivered Monday morning by Ferguson personnel who were very cautious and conscientious. From my experience I would recommend Ferguson's for their professional and friendly manner in selection of a cook top or any other product. I made a virtual appointment to meet with a salesperson to purchase a new electric cooktop. I needed a 36" cooktop to replace my old one. Inventory is limited because of supply chain issues. The salesperson gave me five options to choose from. I made my selection and the item was shipped to me via UPS for $49.00. The item arrived safely. The installer showed up today but cannot install the cooktop because it doesn't fit. Not all 36" cooktops have the same dimensions for the guts that fit into the countertop. The salesperson never addressed this specification during my purchase process. I've initiated the process to return the item, which I'm being charged $150.00 for. Plus the $100 I paid the installer for the house call. The salesperson's lack of knowledge in selling this appliance has cost me $299.00 for nothing but wasted time. read more

We were looking for two new bathroom sinks and faucets for a bathroom remodel. We walked in and the lady at the front was on the phone so I just waved and walked in. She gave a customary short wave. We browsed the bathroom area and looked at the product. Not one person came to ask if they could assist us although two employees were sitting at computers working way. At this point we were the only people in the store. Two men came in which I assumed were contractors and were enthusiastically greeted by a saleswoman. She walked right past us like we were invisible. Not one person assisted us so we left. If Ferguson's policy is by appointment only then they should state it on the website or post it on the door. We have had previous experiences with Ferguson and each time have left with a negative feeling. In my opinion they are snobby when clearly they have no reason to be. We went to Pacific Sales and although they are in the middle of a massive renovation they greeted us at the door and we were assisted by a very professional sales person. They were happy to assist us with a happy demeanour and a smile on their face. We left as very satisfied customers. The staff at Ferguson is actually good for business for Pacific Sales. Ferguson's is a true disappointment. They have a great selection of appliances, lighting, and plumbing fixtures, but their customer service is horrendous. We are remodeling our house and needed help picking which appliances would work for our kitchen set up. As mentioned in other reviews, there were several people sitting behind desks, but none asked if we needed anything. Finally, my husband tracked someone down. He was clearly not interested in helping us, although he did answer our questions. We asked him for pricing, which he promptly responded he wouldn't be able to get to us that day. That was fine, as the store was closing shortly. That was 3 days ago. Still no pricing. The only person who was pleasant was the lady at the front desk. Everyone else made it clear they weren't interested in our business. That's fine, we aren't interested in giving it to them. read more
