We came in to look around and find a lamp that stood out to add to our bedroom decor. We were helped by an awesome sales associate, I forget his name but we do know he loves karaoke lol. This was our first time coming here and he made it enjoyable. We end up getting the lamp we wanted and it was shipped to use and it came very quickly. When getting the lamp, we end up calling the store to order the second one and they made that a breeze as well. I was able to do everything over the phon read more

Roberto Pérez was amazing today. We came in with a request for multiple lampshades and lamp parts. He directed us over to the shades department and really helped us choose some beautiful shades that were appropriate for our lamps. We shared pictures of some our unusual lamps with him and he really took an interest in what we do. He's a great salesperson, give that guy a raise! read more

Wow! It's 5:15 pm and they close at 6pm. The guy that was at the register did not greet or acknowledge us, was cashing out the register. We said me wanted 2 mirrors and the guy the register said they don't have them in stock. The other guy sitting in the chair didn't even knowledge us! On our way out Marcella came out and asked of she could help. Very friendly and helpful. She let us know that she could order them and get them shipped to us on Monday. WOW! What a difference a friendly person makes. This review would have been a 1 based on the treatment by the 1st 2 guys. Marcella gets a 5!!! She was amazing! read more

I purchased 3 ceiling fans from Lamps Plus 1 1/2 tears ago and one failed and then another. I was told by my electrician that the motors were burned out. I called Lamps Plus customer service and they looked up and found the purchase in their system. The lady wrote up a service claim and I received a call about 2 hrs later from the service dept. I described the problem as the electrician explained it and the service tech agreed the motors were bad and the fans would be replaced. The next day I received two replacement fans via FEDX. In this day and age of horrible customer service when it's hard to get a human on the phone I thought this was extraordinarily good customer service. I have purchased over the years lighting, fans and accessories from Lamps Plus read more

Gary the manager needs a lesson in customer service! We have been buying there for years. Recently, we purchased three items to be shipped to our condo in Kansas City. Our electrician said one of the fans did not work. When we called and told them about it they said they would ship a new one and we can return the one that did not work. However, the price has gone up since we bought it recently and they charged us an additional $80 plus a return fee of $13. When we spoke to Gary he blamed corporate and said he doesn't make the fans and he doesn't own the company. Funny that their advertisements say satisfaction guaranteed. We won't be shopping there again. read more

Gary and Roberto were amazing. My favorite lamp, that I bought from them many years ago, came apart. I had no receipt. I brought it in and they fixed it while I was waiting for no charge. read more

I have to say, everyone at Lamps Plus was very helpful. Answered our questions and we were able to make several purchases. Some of the items they had in their stock at the store, so we were able to take home that day. A few items we had to order, but delivery was free and only took a couple of days. Great selection too! read more

All I can say ask for Pauola, She goes above and beyond great service. Ordered a Lamp for over the countertop came in and was way too small I brought back and ordered a larger one. It came in and there in house installers did a great job but when they left noticed that the lamp was crinkled. I went in to talk to Pauola and she immediately recorded a new one. it took about a week but came and and installers came backhand it looks great! I can say enough about Lamps Plus Its a great store read more

Everything you'd expect from a Lamps Plus, with some good styles and some "Grandma's Living Room" styles. But five stars for service. I ordered a huge Arc Lamp online and it arrived with a tiny piece broken. Drove the part over to this location to see if they could replace it. They only had a floor model in stock so...they took it apart to give me the piece that I needed. Thanks Rob! Thanks Gary! read more

Very helpful staff! The company stands by their products also. We had purchased a fan 2 years ago and the motor went out. They replaced the entire unit and I had a handyman install it for a very reasonable price. Great overall experience! read more

I have worked with Paula Rugley, several times now and she has always been a delight to work with. She is incrediblly professional, knowledgeable, patient (belive me, one needs to be patient with me) wonderful with understanding my needs, knowing exactly what I was looking for, without my saying what I was looking for, she just knew. The worst lamp store ever. Stick on the floor is not available. 45 days ago I was told that the product was still in the container. Hey said they would call me. NOT! Today I stop to purchase $700.00 in lamps and they are still in the container. And, hey everyone. STOP blaming Covid for your inept ability and your companies inability to service its customers. I'm taking my $700.00 elsewhere. Lamps Plus will not be on business in 24 months. Thank you Amazon. They deserve to fail. read more

You know, it's not often I'm impressed by customer service, but I have to say, Cameron. If you go into the store, Cameron, a young man that works in the store has exceptional customer service skills. Without a beat, this young man went into the back room and found the part I was searching for(for weeks) in a "spare parts box". Thank you Cameron! Worst customer service ever. Went to the lamps plus store in Rancho Mirage on Saturday. Upon entering, there were 7-8 associates talking with each other. No one bothered to say hello or offer any assistance. I actually interrupted two associates who are engaged in a conversation and they acted like I was intruding on there time. Hello... I am the customer! So disgusted, I walked out of the store within 10 minutes. This is not the first time I've had a poor experience with customer service at this location. I will go elsewhere to buy my glass replacement chandelier shades. My money spends anywhere... and it won't be spent here! Management needs to wake up! read more

I had a great experience at Lamps Plus. The selection is great, we were looking for just the right fixture for the entry of our mid century home and had many choices. Where the outstanding service comes in.... the specialty bulb that came with the fixture burned out in a couple of months, we went to order a replacement and when we told them that it burned out in a short time they apologized and replaced the bulb for free, we bought a spare to have and the bulb has been fine for 5 months now. Highly recommend Lamps Plus! John read more

Just want to thank Gary, the Mgr. of the Rancho Mirage store. He went above and beyond to provide the optimal Customer Service solution. What a wonderful place to do business with every time. We have purchased multiple lamps and lighting fixtures from here since moving to Palm Springs. The staff has always greeted us upon entering and gone out of their way to answer questions and research available options. This week we brought back a lamp we purchased over a year ago as it had stopped working even with a new bulb With no hassle, the told us to go pick out another lamp with a full credit for the defective lamp. read more

Sabrina Herendon was an amazing salesperson! She was knowledgeable and extremely computer savvy with her system. What started out as a small order ended up being almost $2000. The store is great but I had a problem...and unfortunately is was a really expensive one. Last summer I was living in Los Angeles and in the process of a remodel on a home out here. When we came out we went to Lamps Plus to purchase fixtures. We found some fixtures we liked for one of the bathrooms but they didn't have one of them in stock, so the sales person put in an order for both pieces and we had them shipped from their warehouse to our place in the desert. Well, they never showed up. When we went to the store and talked to the sales person he looked it up and said that the shipper was showing that the packages had been delivered. They hadn't (I live in a gated community so it isn't likely someone drove by and stole them). I was a bit upset and said, "so are you telling me that I'm just out $400?" He assured me that wouldn't be the case and that he'd look into it and get back to me. Well, that was probably in August, and it's now February and I've never heard a word. Should I have follwed up? Absolutely. But things got crazy and frankly I forgot about it. Now it's too late to take it up with American Express. My bad. And because I forgot to follow up I truly am out $400. But you don't have to be. Do NOT trust the people at this location to do what they say they're going to do. Thank God it was super hot that day and I was too tired to really think too much. Because I was so wiped out we only purchased them for one of the bathrooms rather than the whole house! It is worth mentioning that I had an issue with the Lamps Plus in Pasadena recently. Look at my reviews, I like to write GOOD reviews, and 2 of the bad ones I've written are about Lamps Plus. I've always loved them but I guess overall they are slipping. Its a real shame because historically they have had a huge selection, great stuff, at a reasonable price....and they used to have good help. Apparently not anymore. I hope the guy who was supposed to be helping me "make this situation right" gets the same sort of service from someone else that he gave me....and karma bites him, and this chain in the butt. Yeah, I'm mad about losing that kind of money, but I'm even more angry that this location didn't even bother to research it, let alone make the situation right. read more

Just left disappointed I ordered 2 down rods from store manager gary... called in 2 weeks later.. says got new computer system n can't find it. I'm writing this review to sing the praises of your Lighting Consultant Sabrina Herendon of your Rancho Mirage store. I've never shopped at a Lamps Plus store before but I was looking for a very specific and hard to find solution to my unique lighting need. Purchased a dining room chandelier on Monday morning and it was delivered promptly the next day Federal Express. Easy assembly, one globe had a small barely noticeable crack, not bad at all. He was nice and made sure I was a happy customer. read more

The staff at Lamps Plus were wonderful... we bought what we needed and asked if they did installation. They said they did but it would be two weeks or so. In the meantime, we got a couple estimates just to see. When their installers came out - they stayed 10 minutes and gave us an estimate 3 times greater than what we had gotten from other electrical companies. I don't get it? needless to say - they were totally overpriced and had an attitude. read more
