We love our furniture. It's very comfortable, and I think it will hold up well. What we thought was a bit bazar was how David, the salesman, gave us a broacher almost as soon as we walked in and told us to go home and think about what we wanted before buying anything. I mean it was like he couldn't wait to get us out the door. I was a bit taken aback because we have thought about buying patio furniture for a while and we knew we wanted it. I thanked him for not being high pressure, but he made us feel as if we were unwanted at their store. We did by a patio set, it's really nice, and delivery was really fast. We've made three sets of purchases from Patio Plus, over the last 2 years, and have been extraordinarily pleased with their extensive selection, quality and service. The showroom is really pleasant and attractive - the kind of place where you just like to spend time browsing and dreaming - and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about everything they carry, without being "in your face." They have actually made visits to some of the factories they represent and can tell you about the "back story." The desert, by the way, presents some unique challenges in furnishing outdoor spaces, and Patio Plus is great about telling you what works well and what might be better suited to a more moderate climate. The store does carry many of the higher end lines, so we've had friends who say "Oh! That place is nice, but very expensive." We've actually found that not to be true. On each occasion where we made purchases, we first selected the pieces we wanted, and then did extensive on-line shopping to find the best price. Patio Plus beat the on-line prices, every time, and - on the occasions where they were running their frequent sales - beat the prices substantially. We expect to pay more for the highest quality furniture available, and we think the durability and quality are worth it. They also deliver and do all the set-up for you, (and are patient if you keep wanting to rearrange the new pieces). It's also worth mentioning that the staff is great about follow-up service needs. About a year ago, we damaged a chair cushion and they were very helpful about having our original order on record and ordering replacements to the correct spec. Nice. read more

I first found this place while searching for Big Green Egg products. A+++ High-end patio furniture and more. This is the best patio furniture store in the Coachella valley. They cater to all budgets and design styles. The customer service is impeccable. I was acknowledged right away and told them I was just looking and they said no problem, they weren't hovering or pushy at all which made this a stress-free shopping experience. They show the best quality furniture for our desert and are very knowledgeable about their products. The quality and craftsmanship of their furniture is amazing and so comfortable. I couldn't believe how many fabric swatches they had to choose from to fully customize my look the way I wanted it. The collections they show on the floor don't end there, I've browsed some of the other catalogs and have found things that would work in both of my homes (which are in two different locations and climates) just ask! They also carry accessories for interior decor or covered patios and the accessories are to-die-for! Furniture manufactured by "ABC Furniture Company" is the same no matter where you purchase it. The price charged by furniture stores is so close one to the other that it seldom determines from whom you eventually buy the furniture. So, how do you decide where to buy the furniture? If you are like me, service is a major determining factor. Do the store personnel understand what I am looking for and are they able and willing to fulfill my needs regardless of the extra effort required? The folks at Patios Plus in Rancho Mirage have earned my resounding, unequivocal and enthusiastic "YES" response to both questions. Let me cite just one example of this. In anticipation of an upcoming major event at my home I purchased a large umbrella to shade a circular seating area on my backyard patio. I emphasized to Robert at Patios Plus the importance of it being installed by a certain date. He phoned the manufacturer from whom he received assurance that the umbrella would be delivered long before the required date. Robert phoned the manufacturer from time to time. Each time he was reassured that the delivery date was as scheduled. Well, it turned out not to be. Just two days before the scheduled delivery, the manufacturer informed Robert that the actual delivery date would be moved back more than a week. I was out of luck. Knowing how important the installation date was to me, Robert, with Amanda's support, volunteered to send a Patios Plus delivery truck to the manufacturer to pick up my umbrella. Patios Plus did not have to go this extra mile; the delay in delivery was not the fault of Patios Plus, it was the fault of the manufacturer. But Robert knew how important this was to me and so he came through for me. I will go nowhere other than to Patios Plus whenever I want furniture and accessories for my patio. read more

I visited Patios Plus while on vacation in order to view, in person, a Gloster product they had on their floor. Not wanting to mislead the sales person who approached me named Robert, I explained the purpose of my visit and informed him that I intended to place my order with a retailer closer to my residence. Regardless, Robert was more then happy to assist me in any way and was not at all solicitous of my business. He was extremely helpful, patient, and knowledgeable. He treated me like I was a valued, life long client. I have found benevolence such as his to be a rare quality amongst salespeople these days. It was his attitude as well as his proficient knowledge of the product that I decided to place my order with Patios Plus, Rancho Mirage... Regardless of any additional shipping costs I might incur. I highly recommend you visit Patios plus. The showroom is beautifully decorated with all the finest outdoor collections available on the market.
