Ya'll, it's that time of year again. First of September only means one thing here. Let the Christmas decorations commence...lol... I know it could be way too early for people, but you can never be prepared for the holidays. Plus all their fall decors are on sale as well. I, like many others love to prepare and get things ahead of time before they sell out. And yes things do sell out quite fast with social media platforms going virals with items. They do start towards the end of summer to prepare and set up but I think the sale tends to happen beginning of September or late August. They were still setting things up as some isles were still pretty bare but I knew what I was coming. Plus browsing and seeing what they have for this year. Alot of regular but the new season decors are alway great. Plus, holidays items are a whopping half off now. Hence people are loading up and starting the holiday decor shopping. And everything is half off even the tress which is an amazing deal. Social media does promote items so they do sell out fast. I don't know how often things get replenish but best of luck. Ribbons are a main thing that's worth getting as the rates are so good being half off. Honestly, the reason for me coming here is for their holidays items. They do carrying pretty much everything else seasonal and decors. But I like coming for the Christmas items mainly. read more

HL has a really extensive assortment of hobby supplies including some that hard to find at the competitors. Their inventory is huge and always in good supply. Store is always clean and easy parking. On this visit the customer service here was exceptionally poor. I went to the register to pay for my item. No one there at any of the 4 registers. 10 feet away at the returns desk there 5 employees hanging out while only is tending to a customer. They see me standing at register ready to pay and was looking right at them, but they said and did nothing but continue to stand around the returns counter yuckin it up. I finally say something to the gaggle of them and only then does one of them say that I need to pay at the returns counter that they are all huddled around. What a bunch useless knuckheads. Do better! I typically only shop here when a really have no option for the specific hobby related item I need, but after this experience plus their well known lack of social inclusivity, I'm done. read more

I had an important piece of art that needed extra specialized custom framing. So imagine how delighted I was, when this amazing framing expert at Hobby Lobby shared all her expertise with me, made my decisions super easy and even got a rush, so the project will be done quickly for me! Her name is Tasha, and she reminds me of better times when people really knew how to give excellent customer service and went above and beyond what I even needed! I always said I wouldn't use Hobby lobby, because of certain political beliefs their corporate ownership holds, but just because of the kindness and help of Tasha, it goes a long ways in making up for some beliefs. I wish this company would see differently. So thank you, Tasha, for not treating me different and giving me respect and excellent customer service! read more

*La-Di-Da-Di We Like Hobby Lobby* Big store with lots of inventory -- more than I expected. Came here to explore & escape the heat -- spent more time browsing around than I expected. Found some things I'd actually buy -- more than I expected. The store reminds me of a cross between Homegoods and Michael's -- more than I expected. Lots of household items and arts & crafts -- more than I expected. The prices are very reasonable -- more than I expected. The customer service tho -- not as good as I expected. read more

We came here after dinner to walk around it looks like any other Hobby Lobby. It seems like everything is 50% off or some kind of sale, my kid was able to pick up some small toys for the day and that made him happy. I can never figure out the layout of the store, it seems they have everything everywhere, but that's maybe part of the fun. read more

Only one cashier was open and there were 2 other employees standing near a register talking. I'm assuming one was the M.O.D as she was not in uniform. The checkout line was growing long and someone paged another employee up front. That employee went over to the farthest register from our line, and rang up a purchase for ANOTHER EMPLOYEE and ignored the line. The employee that paid left the store and the other one walked away. I was ready to say something, when the lady I call the MOD, looked right at me, and said she could ring me up. I was totally shocked they would ring up an employee and ignore the long line of customers. That has to be one of the top rudest things someone can do in a retail establishment. This store has the worst customer service and they really don't care read more

I have only been in a Hobby Lobby once and this was because I was with a group who dragged me along; being that this brand does not provide full health care to women is something I don't agree with. But today I needed an item that I knew they carried, so I held my nose and ventured inside. I walked up to the stock person to inquire where I could find feather boas, and the young man was absolutely charming in how he assisted me. Being that he was obviously LGBTQ, I was pleased to know that Hobby Lobby would not discriminate against him. As I checked out, the sales clerk asked me why I was buying multiple feather boas, wondering if there is another festival coming up? After explaining that they are for my cat to play with, she lit up and we had a very nice conversation. I saw an LGBTQ couple checking out at the next register and was relieved to know this store was a safe place for all. It made me rethink my avoidance of Hobby Lobby, though I will never be OK with their using religion to deny full health care to employees who do not subscribe to their religion. I'll be shopping again at this store. read more

The store is great , art supplies are great , the manager and employees are not great most are very rude.

Excellent pricing and friendly services. I recommend their painting supplies and holiday decorations.

Horrible management at the fabric section bought my fabric 09/26 and tried to return today 10/10 since I have no use for the black fabric I thought I would need. Cecile said it's been over a month when it hasn't it's been 2 weeks! And she was the same person that helped me when I purchased maybe the managers should check her measurements before blaming the customers of theft and returning "some fabric" They charged me for 3 yards when I purchased it I tried to return the same fabric in same conditions I bought it and they told me it was missing some, "they don't take customer word for it " yet I got less than 3 yards and was charge for 3. Go to Michael's or Walmart for better service. Cecile has horrible attitude towards the customers even the ones front of me they took around 6 different type of fabrics she told them "if it's ugly why are you even taking it" read more

Customer service was the worst by a lady named Graciela V. , I asked her to check a price for me she was rude with an attitude as I told her I was only taking one item she got mad throwing the ribbon on top of the register.. Awful customer service !!!! read more

Upon leaving the store, I was told by the manager that he would refuse service to me next time because my children waved their hands through the beads a few times. I made them stop once I noticed. Kids do these things, does it make it okay of course not. It's not like they were throwing them and purposely destroying anything. I looked around the isle and made sure nothing was out of place too. I'm just confused by all this and how I was treated like a disgusting human being. I have never had anyone say something like this to me or about my kids before. This creepy manager was also following my family throughout the store and not once mentioning anything to me or my husband. Like we were trying to steal something. I will never be back to this bully store. Hobby Lobby needs to find a better manager. read more

I had a disappointing experience at this store and felt compelled to leave a review, specifically mentioning Jeanne the manager. It's shocking to me that she still holds a position at this establishment. Unfortunately, it seems that others have shared similar encounters with her given some of the poor reviews mention her specifically. Jeanne's behavior was not only rude, but also unprofessional and unfriendly - qualities that should not be associated with someone in her position. To summarize my experience, Jeanne was far from helpful. Instead of offering assistance, she actually walked away from me without even acknowledging my presence or taking a moment to address my concerns. When I confronted her at the register, her unpleasant demeanor persisted, with her even rolling her eyes. I took the initiative to reach out to corporate about this issue, but it appears that my call fell on deaf ears. It's truly disappointing that Hobby Lobby seems to be indifferent to the negative impact Jeanne's actions have on their customers' experiences. Shame on you, Hobby Lobby! Both Matt and Veronica (two very nice employees saved the day by providing answers to my questions) and offered a smile. Maybe at least commend their exemplary service! read more

I shop here 3 times a week as I am a content creator for tik tok! Your cashier Veronica is ALWAYS so sweet and always willing to help me with whatever I need. Today's visit wasnt that great! Although she was amazing her management staff was not! She was assisting me with something I needed and instead of the manager jumping on a register Veronica was asked twice to leave me and go ring up customers. There were 3 employees standing there at the register. One asking for zip codes and another manager talking with customers another associate was putting together signage. My goal was to spend 100 dollars. After that exchange I decided not to shop any further. I left spending only 33 dollars and took my business down the street. I was told by the manager at the time that they are not allowed to jump on registers to help customers. Why not? Customers hardly want to spend money right now anyways. To each its own! I will just take my business elsewhere. read more

One of my favorite stores just to hang out in and check out the humongous variety of merchandise. I was amazed at their huge variety of Christmas ornaments. You could decorate a dozen trees! Hobby Lobby - Home Decor Near Me - Rancho Mirage, California

I went to the Rancho Mirage, Ca. store this evening to get stuff for a couple projects I'm working on, with one of the projects being in a small bag. This is not the first time I've shopped this location. On this trip, I was harassed by 2 of the managers. As I was entering the store, a manager was leaving (she saw me with the bag, by the way, as she wouldn't quit glaring at me walking in). Once I was inside, she turned around, followed me in and told the cashier to call a "code 10" for who I assume was the PM manager. As they waited for him to come up front, the manager who was supposed to be leaving, followed me to a display I was standing in front of, pretending to give closing orders to said cashier while watching me. Once the PM manager arrived, he ALSO began following me. No matter what aisle I was in or what part of the store, he was there; acting like he was "organizing" a shelf. The managers and cashier made me extremely uncomfortable. I was targeted, yet neither manager bothered to speak to me about what their concerns were with my being there. I've never stolen or caused an issue there. Or any store for that matter. This treatment was absolutely unacceptable and I am filing a complaint. read more

I went in to have some matting done one a photo I brought in. The gentleman that helped me was Matt and I have to say he went above & beyond as far as great service. Popped in here with my wife and daughter as I didn't really feel like sitting in parking lot waiting for them while they shopped. As I entered, I was a bit overwhelmed by the plethora of home decor and crafting supplies this place has to offer. Holy smokes. Seriously, there is something for everyone in this place, and I do mean everyone. I really don't even know where to begin, so I decided to just snap some photos, and cruise around then place with the girls. I think I know why they can rack up such a good sized receipt in this place, and why when they say they are taking a trip to Hobby Lobby, I am in disbelief when they say they didn't go anywhere else. One could spend hours in this place cruising the aisles of wonder for home decor, crafting, painting, puzzling, woodworking, so on and so on. Good luck fellas. If you haven't been in here before, I am not going to lie. You are really missing out. read more

Never coming here again. I am now a proud customer of Michael's. Jeanie this psychopath who works at Hobby Lobby came over to my cart and started touching my stuff. I asked what she was doing and she was saying things like "where did you put that paint brush". I asked what brush she was talking about as I do not paint nor had a paint brush and she just kept looking into my cart. She then grabs wife's purse and opens it. We had nothing inside nor was anything on her purse this lady just starts searching our personal property. I and my wife are black and to me it seems like we're being targets because of our race. My wife wanted to call the police as she would not stop accusing us of stealing and I asked for a manager. I had to get another employee to get the manager as she refused. Terry this bald glasses wearing white guy came out and saw what she was doing and did nothing to stop her. I felt like Terry might wanted to have cavity searched us. He kept looking at my butt. In the end we left our cart and the thing we had planned to purchase and walked out. Michael's up the street did not strip search us as we bought the craft supplies for.my new room. read more

Was waiting in line for a while because the person in front of me was having problems with their payment or something. My autistic son was getting more and more anxious and kept throwing things out of our cart. Tried my best to keep him occupied and then another associate opened up a line and said they would take the next person in line. That was supposed to be us, but some girl behind us ran over and took our place. I was so upset. Couldn't believe that nobody said anything and let this girl butt in front of us! I ended up just leaving without getting anything because my son was starting to scream at that point. read more

First off I've always liked this Hobby Lobby, but my recent experience soured me. Tried to return a gift I had received two of so no receipt. I went here recently and I was just trying to get a few items when I realized that I was being followed around the store everywhere and given dirty looks by some older male employee. I felt very uncomfortable and unsafe here since I was by myself and a younger woman and I got creeped out. When I went to checkout, him and another employee were by the register and when I went to leave the man followed me outside, and when I got to my car he walked over and took a picture of my license plate... I don't know why they decided to single me out, but one thing to mention is that I was the only person of color in that store, just me, a little Mexican girl, and a bunch of white people. I can't help but feel like they are racist there, I will most definitely not be coming back. I also forgot an item that I meant to grab, and am going to buy it online instead of going back into that place. read more

I shop here a lot and everyone is very friendly but today I encountered the rudest manager I've ever met here. Her name was Jeanie. Jeanie and an associate were putting together a display in the main aisle. I asked for help with a locked cabinet and was told that someone would meet me there. We waited awhile and nobody came. When I waved at Jeanie again she came over, irritated, and said "you know you're not the only customer in the store." Clearly I was surprised since I had a clear view of Jeanie and the associate working on the display and not with customers. Plus the store was pretty slow at that time. When I replied she said, "uh you know what?" Like she was going to threaten me. I was shocked. I can have a sharp tongue also but just said ok and asked for her name. If you're ever at Hobby Lobby, don't bother Jeanie or she will snap at you!! Oh and when I went to the check out I saw an associate walk up to her to ask a question and she snapped, "what?? I'm doing like a million things right now. What do you want?" Hopefully someone higher up will read this and remind Jeanie that being nice goes a long way. read more

I was racially profiled here by Jeanie on Sat 12, 2023 when i was with a friend. Reminder: we are the only people of color in the store and she and her coworkers decide to follow us around thinking we wouldn't notice. Was planning on spending a lot of money at this store when the moment I walked in they needed to know my zip code. The employee did not ask hey we are doing a survey she just asked my zip I said why cause I was taken back she than proceeded to say they are doing a survey I declined. The three other employees all gave me dirty looks. I than found a manager to just see what was going on and tell him my experience. He told me it's policy if I don't like it than I can leave. Can you believe that! I have never been asked to leave a store because I'm unwilling to give my personal information out. He also said quote. "I will watch you leave like I did something wrong.
