At the event, they have photos with Santa, gingerbread cookie decorating, gingerbread ornament decorating, face painting, a bubble station, a hot cocoa station, and live music. All the volunteers were kind and welcoming. The ambiance is festive and fun! It was quite busy when they first opened with all the little ones trying to get a picture with Santa before their nap time. It was less crowded by 1pm. Would recommend stopping by if you're around!

I'm happy that I can always find pretty good items at this location compared to some of my more local Home Goods. This shopping center is busy and the parking not as large as it could be but I normally try to come here early and at opening which usually gets me a parking spot pretty close to the front. I came two days after Christmas and was honestly impressed with their inventory. After Christmas most stores are hurting and down to their bare bones items but not this home goods! I had never been into a Five Below and had no idea what they sold. I was picking up fancy refrigerated dog food next door at PetSmart and thought I'd wander in and see what they sold. Was it refrigerated items? The name Five Below made me wonder. As I popped in, a very friendly guy said hello and welcomed me, but not in an insincere way. (I'm always a bit sus about that) I started to realize this was an upgraded 99 Cent store with a $5 limit, and was curious to explore. I really responded well to the nice lighting, cool oversized signage and clean feel of the store. I saw items that are at better prices than other stores, but I wondered how people knew what to purchase here. I think you must just go in and endeavor to buy stuff you would normally buy elsewhere for more. Although I left without a purchase, I will go back when I want to stock up on items we regularly use. Also, the guy that works there literally had his teeth sparkle when he said thank you for visiting us - I'm easily swayed by genuine appreciation.

It's a very strange thing, however, that half of the back part of the store is all toys. But, are there any toy stores anymore? So I guess it makes sense to combine it. Every time I've come, the employees are extremely helpful and answer lots of my questions. When things are not in, they are quick to offer that they can order it. Unfortunately, I am so usually last minute that I don't have time to do online ordering. But, I appreciate that they know and let me know that that's an option. They've got quite a selection of fun, trinkets, and beautiful gifts near the front and in the back. The sale aisles are always a fun thing to look at and usually I find one or two things I didn't know I was looking for. The one thing missing this last trip was I was looking for a magazine about soccer. And they have a huge magazine selection of Tons and tons of sports and hobbies and all kinds of other things. But I could not find one soccer magazine. There was one on wooden boats and baseball and football. But no soccer. Do they not make soccer magazines? This was obviously for a gift for someone else. Anyhow, this is super rambling and yet, you're still reading. So if you're feeling nostalgic and want to grab a real book with paper and the smell of fresh creases, head over here. It's also well lit since natural light is coming in through the huge doors and windows from the entrance accessibility on the street. All the different book sections are highlighted and well represented from Anime, Manga, Sci Fi, Young Readers, Novels, Magazines to name a few. Their children's sections is also very welcoming. They have the stage and little chairs for the little ones. This Barnes & Noble location carries everything from books, art, toys, DVDs, magazines and some collectible items. You can definitely find most of the books you're looking for at this location. This is a great place for avid readers like us. We found some cool and interesting books at this location that's hard to find.
