I like this little shop that has so many beautiful items to decorate and beautify your home. At first, I thought who would want fake plants and flowers? I was wrong, they have beautiful displays and colors. Whenever I see a home with color coordinated accessories, I wonder where they buy them. It's those little accent pieces that light up a room, from a bookend to picture or carved item on the shelf, you will find something here. I wished they had pre-arranged bouquets in various colors ready to buy. You can, however, select your preferred colors and they can arrange for you. The flowers are beautiful, there is no question about it. They are not cheap, but really pretty, and therefore a good investment. Every time I have been there the ladies have been unfriendly and not helpful. A question asked by me makes their day seem really difficult. For example, we arrived 40 minutes before closing, and the first thing the lady said was: we are closing soon. When I was clearly having the intention to buy a whole bunch (i had several stems in my arms) she warned me that they were closing soon. I guess she really didn't want me to be there. So no, I would not recommend this business. I spend almost 200 dollars on 5 or 6 stems. That was my choice. And yes, the flowers give me joy, but the shopping in this place absolutely not. read more

One bald guy and another man with brown hair both yelled at me and my sons from across the room "this is not a place for kids" as we were smelling candles and reading the kids books by the register. The bald guy also wasn't wearing a mask yet it's a requirement to enter the store. $2k for a giraffe statue or $110 for a glass vase (worth maybe $30). I wish I had read some of the reviews before I had Bill come out to my clients house for a consultation. There is a difference between being helpful and being down right rude and insulting. He was asked to come out and redo most of the florals in the house, since they had become dated after 10 years. Instead he proceeded to bash the house and everything in it. When I told Bill the next day, making my client feel bad about her home was unnecessary, he said maybe we're not the right store for you. Well, you couldn't be more right. If rude, arrogant and insulting is what your looking for, then this is the store for you. One star is one too many! read more

Lovely selection. Purchased many things from here. Just be warned the staff has been curt every time I have been in the store. Never offering to help, and even being short when I asked for something particular. It's very strange. You'd think especially these days people would be kind and try to offer customer service. Went in looking for their card/ gift shop ( they consolidated a while back). Found the perfect gift, just what I was looking for ( some interesting edibles for a birthday gift.) Their cards and stationary selection is wonderful, too. The real treat was discovering the Plants 4 U store. I felt like I was in a store in LA on Robertson - really great selections, wonderfully massed for impact. Their selection of replica plants is most likely unmatched in the Desert. Great selection of home accessories and lamps too. And from what I saw, all the fluffy Easter bunnies you could imagine! We've all been to Michael's and other chain type places that sell fake flowers and plants. We saw this place driving by, and stopping into a wonderful world of elegant and artfully done creations of flower, trees and decor. The two owners are a delight. They know what they are doing, and they do it well. Their prices are a bit spendy, but the quality is amazing. And they are more than happy to spend time with you designing the perfect arrangement for your home. They also own the card shop 5 doors down in the strip center. I stopped in here and was pleasantly surprised that such a beautiful little shop was tucked away in this half empty strip mall. Unfortunately, the prices were almost triple the cost of other places around town. I had no problem spending the extra $ because I needed the arrangement in a hurry, but the owner was so rude and condescending that I left empty handed. I'm so glad I left because instead of spending $695 on a bowl I went down to El Paseo and bought one for $245. I ordered more than $600 worth of 2 different plant species via internet. I never received half of the order. The half I did receive looked nothing like the photo I referred to when deciding what to buy. I tried to contact them via email, their Facebook page, and their web site contact form...no response. I finally found a phone number for them, called, and it went directly to voicemail. I left a message, still no response. So, instead of disputing the charge for what I received, I planted what looks like the wrong plants so they wouldnt die. I have disputed the charge for items I was charged for but did not receive. Very disappointed w the whole situation, especially after reading on their site about how they profusely expressed how they value customers, want to make things right, etc.. My family and I would have loved to spend time in the shop today, as my sister is redecorating her house. Unfortunately, we were greeted at the door with such disrespect. He told us we couldn't just come in and let our children run wild and said his merchandise wasn't worth anything destroyed all before we had taken two steps into the store. I have never felt such discrimination and disdain. We immediately walked out as he basically blocked the entrance for us to continue any further. Obviously the reviews about this place are spot on. This place is fabulous! The quality of their products is unsurpassed and they have large inventory. Even if I just stop by 'to look', I always buy something!!!! I think some of the negative reviews stems form the fact, the owners and employees leave you alone to walk around and look. They don't crowd you, they are not on commission (I can always tell when an employee is on commission) and it is not a store where children should be left to run around. I was looking for an artificial tree for my new home in the desert and someone recommended this place. I was BLOWN AWAY. It's an absolutely gorgeous shop, and the owners are as entertaining as they are talented. I went from buying one tree to giving them the key to my home and decorating the entire house. I walked in 2 weeks later to the most beautifully decorated home. Bill and Christina totally got who I was, and Mark executed all the arrangements perfectly. What a team. It is a beautiful Sunday morning. I missed church and on my way to LaQuinta. I was greeted by Mark, who seemed to be very cautious. This store would not be my cup of tea, I love fresh flowers, however my mother would love this store. I bought something because I felt bad walking in without any patrons. So I bought this $30 candle. On the exchange of money for merchandise. Mark says we accept food stamps. Now being that I am a woman of color, I felt that was disrespectful, distasteful, inappropriate,unprofessional, and downright rude. Had I known this was how he viewed me or anyone who is not white I would not have purchased. Even though it was my choice, I will not come to purchase anything from this store whether it be for Christmas or general home decor. What is more disappointing is Mark might be gay, and last time I checked Civil Rights is for disenfranchised and marginalized communities, the LBGTQ community falls under protected communities. That still doesn't give Mark the right to humiliate a patron with the pretense of a snarky joke. The majority of white Americans benefit from entitlement programs. Truly disgusted with this store. I should go ask for a refund. I would not give this store a star until they respect all patrons. My money is green like any white person's. read more

Do not be seduced by the uppity looking faux flowers in this store. They are overly expensive, sub-par and do not last. I purchased some artificial flowers at Michael's at the same time, in approximately the same indoor place, and they look just fine. The $545 worth of flowers from Plants 4 U have faded, developed holes, and strange white spots and I had to toss them. The staff is quite unpleasant if one has a problem. On the positive side, they do a fairly good job of arranging, but you're paying a heap for them to use their glue gun and styrofoam. This a place for way-deep pockets and those who can deal with "attitude." read more
